Vaporbrothers Dabbler & Eleven Pen

I want to say something about the Dabbler. I am liking it.
I love all of the pens, but the fact is, when things get hot, cartridges can leak.

Carts when in hot climate are best kept upright.
To that end I invented a calf pocket, made of my wife's blue jeans butt pocket, and a garter that goes around my calf... That part of my anatomy is always perpendicular to the ground, so I never spill.

I have enjoyed the ease of carrying my Dabbler, in it's ultra flat and small case, and just bringing along a small container of wax.
I still love my other vape pens... each has a feature or two I love...
The Dabbler is great for traveling when it is hot, and I am afraid of laying my pens down.

I found most to be garbage.
Dabbler is solid.
Nothing there to go wrong.
I have a spare heater that is sitting in wait .,.. but I have refreshed and tided my Heater repeatedly, and it is still as new.
Discreet wax hits, and big ones at that and the price is fair.
Price is just under 100 right now also...

WELL SAID, and thank you again. We consider you pretty discerning user, and somehow the Dabbler survived your gaze.

Again, here's $5 off replacement heaters. Use this coupon code when checking out: DABBLEROFFER

All said, there are some issues coming up that we're either in process of improving or just realizing they come with the territory (of a sub $100 product).

Here are some annoyances we're handling now:

Mouthpiece either too tight or loose - improving soon
Case opens too easily - slight improvement coming soon, but comes with the territory
Battery failures (a few happened so far) - all have been replaced under warranty
Restricted airflow - fixed. opened a new hole in the heater that lets more air through.
Pen breaks in half while in pocket - not sure if we can prevent that
USB socket is a little tight - improving soon

If anything's been irking you about your Dabbler, please let us know. By direct message is best if you want to go through me and don't mind waiting a bit. Go to vaporbrothers customer svc for anything else.

Well said! A fine product. And I have tried an omicron and g pen. Omicron just doesn't do it for me. The dabbler is much more easy to use and handle. Vito is right about the case. I love that case. It's soo easy to store the pen, just twist apart the two pieces and pop em in the storage case. So theres no reason to store it in your pocket fully assembled. from my experience, even when the pen is turned off I'd suggest you disassemble it. Keeping it in your pocket can not only break the pen in half permanently, but as I learned with my first unit, the unit might unintentionally start heating up. How exactly that happened is still beyond me. It could have been a faulty processor on the battery. But I'm definitely sure it wasn't a stuck button.

I have had my Vapor Bros. Dabbler for about 10 days. Absolutely thrilled with this device so far! I have been using it on the go every day, and even around the house. The Dabbler has handled every thing it's been fed so far, wax, honeycomb, and shatter. The honeycomb I had was a tad "sticky", and had to be coaxed back onto the coils with a toothpick(Great idea, Vitolo). I have one of the "original" heat coil cartridge and one of the "newer" ones with the hole for better airflow that VB mentioned back a few posts. I had no issues with the "more restrictive" one, but once you try the newer cartridge, you may like it better like I did. Didn't know it needed to be "better" until I tried the "better" one if that makes sense.
I will try to better organize all my thoughts better soon. So far, I have given my TV LV Dart a well deserved break, and I didn't even set out to do that. But the Vapor Bros. Dabbler has been doing the job so well for me that i just kept taking it with me all week. I still love my TV Dart, but this Dabbler is growing on me. I figured I would have to keep loading it more often, BUT, the rips that I keep getting off of it seem to sustain me more like a Ti Nail does. Although definitely not a "party" vape, it's one that I also don't feel afraid letting others use it. I baby my TV Dart. Kudos to Vapor Brothers, this Dabbler kicks @ss!!

I will post a better review of my thoughts as soon as I get a little downtime.

Ah now I want one. How long are the cartridges expected to last with every day use? Thats my biggest concern.

You read Vitolo's "how to" on cleaning the carts right? Basically gets them almost brand new. I'm only about 2 weeks in and heavy daily use, zero issues so far.

Hmm, so my dabbler come today. I order the stainless steel color, even shows on my receipt as SS But when I open it black mattered. Don't know should I get keep it or email vaporbrothers. I don't like the black mattered because it rubs off with time..I also check the resistance on the coil it's 1.7ohmz. Can't test battery voltage output because it's pulse width modulation need a oscilloscope. The threading on the post is 510 but it use a ego sleeve w/o ego threading. So it will not fit on 510 connectors w/o ego sleeve well. Testing 1g of GSC nectar thur it before reposting.

Not to be a pest but have you any thoughts on this now that you've had time to test it. Btw, didn't vb say that they were releasing another portable this year? Any updates on that?

Later this year = loose leaf herb attachment for Dabbler. Or it might be a whole new Dabbler heater purpose built for herbs. We're trying not to micromanage and instead just let Vape-Pen come up with something simple and robust. We could make some wonderful thing that hits great and is all ceramic, but I really want to see the $100 solution instead.

Sooner this year = the vapor brothers' solution for oils and solids. It's an idea we've been cultivating for about 4 years now and working on intensively 2 years. It's nuts. Our product testers are obliterated. You need to see it... soooon. Promise...

I just received my Dabbler in the mail, it is charging, and I can't wait to use it. How long does the charge take? Also, my oil is on the dry side, will this work ok?

Edit: It works great! Nice big pulls, pretty close to a dab! Woohoo!

Does that mean a vapor brothers box for oils? Or another pen?

What's the word on putting these heaters on different units? Are they meant exclusively for the Dabbler body or are they like most vape pens, where only the volt and threading matter?

Vape-Pen replies: "Since our temperature control is dependent on thermal characteristics of the heater, proper operation requires the proper resistance and thermal curve. While you can use 510 cartridges on the battery, the heater may not work properly on other batteries."

My take is that it's risky to match a Dabbler heater with a bare battery from someone else. Dabbler's battery is microprocessor controlled and matched to the heater. Blowing up your heater on another battery is not covered by our warranty. Vice versa with the battery. I've already killed a Dabbler battery by hooking it to a 710 coil.

Like a box... but newfangled. You put any oil, solid, or anything into it and it evaporates immediately, completely, and with no taste of metal or heart attack. It consumes about 5x more power than a typical portable vaporizer, so expect a hit like a semi (as opposed to a moped with pedals).
