My mistake, I thought you where just guessing. Thanks OF!

No worries, I guess sometimes too.....

Looking back I wasn't very clear, the "hopefully" part was about it not sticking, not that I had finally got one right.

Which I also expect to do, any time now.

Sorry about that. I suspect most guys ignore it (or lose it), and no other maker I know provides it. I got onto the practice from the days of 'stopcock grease', the little had operated GonG valves with the tapered rotor? You had to grease them to get them to rotate smoothly and seal. These days I use Silicone vacuum grease (a thicker version of what you have) when I bother.

One thought is if you jam one and have used it it'll probably turn out well. If you didn't first thing you'll do is wish you had?

Just to add ;
For all my glassware joints and adapters ,
I use something called ' Bee's wax ' or ' Joint wax ' as it is named at my LHS .
It's all natural and safe to use , and it will def. save you $$$ on replacements .

Cloudy...
So I just put a little bit in the GonG and that's all, right? I will try it just to see how it works. Really nice from MFLB guys to send it free with WPW's

Yup. Wipe it around, you need a thin film covering all the surface. It changes appearance in the right light as you do it, so it's easy to do a complete job. I usually use lint free paper for this, or a clean cloth 'patch' I can throw away. It's a good way to use up those old Zig-zags now that you're not blazing.....just avoid the glue part.

I dropped my glass stem few weeks ago. I decided to purchase the 1 foot whip from a LHS nearby. I was able to get bigger clouds and more consistency with the whip.. The batteries I was using is some random NiMh battery and it was dying on me. Fed up. I ordered the glass stem, the new glyphs, and the updated brush.

I pulled one end of the whip and replaced it with the glass stem to collect more oil instead of the short acrylic end included with the whip. With the fresh batteries straight out of its package. I was able to cherry my bowl by 2 hits. I was drawing long and slow though so that surprised me completely.

I didn't charge my batteries at all, did 2 more trenches, adjusted my draw, and kept flipping the trench.. It was giving me VERY much better results. Completely blew my original set up away. The glyphs at their max reminds me of a PA hit. I've owned Powerex 2700s, this glyphs are much better since they seem to stay steady without getting hot or increasing bursts of power. Glyphs will impress you even the PA users, when the stealth mode or not near a power source, etc. They can get you up there as well!

I vape in my garage, I am able to do it much more effectively, quicker, and constant with the new batteries. I like the glass stem plugged in with my whip instead of the ends it comes with. It gives me much more control and I can see streams of vapor coming through the stem.

Glyphs... had me confused for a second! Most of us have taken to calling them the "magic flight batteries" but i'm partial to "logo batteries" seeing as it's their logo stamped on the bottom...

and yeah, be careful with 'em. i've managed two trenches now that ended up burning spectacularly and leaving a bad taste in mine... i had to vape more to get it to go away (what hardships we must endure for love...) i'd say the charged up logo batteries hit about 70-75% of the strength of the power adapter. now quite all there, but close enough in a battery that i'm satisfied with paying the $5 each.

Just wanted to let folks know that the one from VaporNation only included the screened version...not two like advertised on the MF site. I'm waiting on a response from VN on why...especially since it came with official MF branded documentation for the same advertised cost.

Oh, and I also just pinged them on the grease...good timing lol. I had one tucked in a premium kit I picked up recently but the one I got from the 4/20 sale didn't have one in it.

So I have a question... Does anyone else replace sections of their whip with glass stems? I feel like an innovator (but I'm prob not lol, knowing y'all lol)

I did this b/c the fist time I used a whip I could taste the whip (after the first Seth I couldn't taste it anymore, but nonetheless it stuck I. My head) not to mention I'm quite broke so reclaim is a gift from the heavens :D

Edit: my plan is to replace as much silicon as possible without compromising the flexibility. Unfortunately I will have to put my experimentation on hold... (Parole issues D: been out 3.5 months and passed all their UA's and they still want to send me to rehab lol)

Hey, I see that you have the whip, I'm stopped smoking and I might buy a MFLB, does that thing reduces the heat and makes it easier on the throat? I dont know if I should buy it :p

Yeah it does. Longer air path will give you cooler vapor... so does hooking it up to a bong ;)

Get Lifted.
My mandatory t-break has gone on almost a month, so I decided to gift my MFLB to a good friend that's finally out of the Navy. He's on day three and all he talks about is how he uses it before and after his workouts in his car! He also discovered how to fill bags with it on the hole on the back.. erhm.. I kind of regret not discovering that..heh. I showed him FC and he'll be on his way soon. Too bad he's 600 miles away, bah.

I'm going to have to get another MFLB, perhaps in walnut, unless the Ascent can beat me to resuming the trees.

Guys I'm about to buy my so wished MFLB!!

HealthVapor has this combo (is this site legit?)
https://healthvapor.com/product_det..._box_vaporizer_with_rechargeable_battery_set/

Using the 15% coupon disccount + shipping is about: $100.

I wanted this puffitup combo but it was almost $150 so yeah, I'm really considering ordering it RIGHT NOW, thoughts anyone? Help this 21 year old guy who wants his first real vape :D!

I don't know anything about Health Vapor, so I can't advise you as to their legitimacy.

I know for a fact that PuffItUp is a great retailer. I have ordered from them in the past, and trust them. I know many other members that have shopped there as well and were very happy.

Thanks, I was going to wait for puffitup, I sent a few emails to them asking a lot of questions, they were great, I told them that I'll contact em when I was ready to make the purchase.

I was ready, emailed them again last Friday, still no response :(

TL;DR The guy even made an invoice with 2 free batteries extra and now I have to ship it to a new address and he wont answer my emails, I think I annoyed him with a lot of questions.

+ 1 for Randy at Puffitup .
He even answered my e-mails on the weekend .

It's not a ' must have ' accessory , but I highly recommend you look into getting a PA for the mflb .

Agreed. If I had to choose between buying a finishing grinder or a power adapter, I'd get the PA. Even if I had to wait and save the extra cash, I'd choose the PA 10 times out of 10. I don't dislike the finishing grinder, I just like the PA more. :2c:
