JyARz Storage Containers

Just purchased a JyAR(z?) !
Since I now own/use a really portable, discrete vape, might as well buy a portable, discrete container for on-the-go vaping! Also, the fact that you get a sticker with your order is always tempting for me, I can never have enough stickers for my longboard. :p

I would love to have one and was at the checkout but $10 shipping to toronto, bringing the total to $22 and change is too rich for my blood.

I have six of these little glass vials that I store mine in. They can hold 2 - 4 grams depending upon if you pack it down or not(ground bud).

Ah yeah it came out to $2.50 S&H domestically.

We now offer volume pricing, which is a better way to go for international shipping as the rate stays at about $10 but you get 3 JyARz for 20% off.

I received my JyAR a while ago, but I forgot to post.
It's awesome! Very high quality and completely smell-proof. What I thought was a sticker in the photos is actually a business card (with a handwritten note on the back), but it's not a big deal.

I second that emotion. I love my 2 little containers, even that "off" blue.@JyARz Are you thinking about coming out with any additional colors? And is it possible to buy just the plastic shell? Also I know the silicone that lines the top and bottom of the container is replaceable. How often should it be replaced?

Purple and White (a truer white) is coming in a few weeks. And the gaskets last a very long time so you shouldn't have to change them very often...like years. But I designed JyARz to be very eco-friendly...so that you don't throw the plastic shell out..just replace the glass and gaskets and you have what is in essence a new container. In short you should get years out of your gaskets.

And we don't sell the shells individually. Wondering why you might want one? If you take the bottom gasket out you'll see that there are "support ridges" on the bottom...would be tough to clean if used "naked."

Does that answer all of your questions.

Whatever jars you decide on, make sure that after it's loaded with bud, that there is the least amount of free airspace available. In other words, don't get jars that are too big for your stash. The smaller, the better.

I agree with you. A lot of people ask us for larger size containers (which we will make) but to your point, smaller means less air to dry out your product. People worry about "pre-grinding" and the effects on trichromes but for my money, I prefer to pre-grind into a small container that is light and air tight...pre-grinding allows more material in a smaller space along with a lower air "ratio."

THanks..didn't mean to deceive you with the card!

Well my two Jyarz were in the mailbox when I got home from work and I have to say these containers are great. My film canisters are already in the trash! Shipping was very fast. I ordered on Tuesday and got them on Thursday.
I would love to have one the size of a small or medium Cvault.

I am working on a larger size now. It's been tough to find a high precision glass manufacturer in the United States but I found one and we're finalizing pricing. Once that's done we'll move to the "case" design, gaskets and then production. I'm highly focused on quality which takes longer but I think the wait will be worth it.

Thanks for your support thus far!

Cool glass container. When I started thinking about glass container designs that's more or less what I had in mind...love the ground glass on glass seal. Very cool! The JyARz design is my "evolution" of the above in that it protects the glass from shocks and is light and air-tight with a screw top that is very reliable and provides a repeatable seal. Nonetheless I love the aesthetics of that one in your picture. Where did you get it? I want one for my collection.

I love my jyarz! This thing is so well made its awesome. I wish they made it a tiny bit bigger (for 3.5g since its a tight fit). Maybe ill email them to see if they have anything upcoming. Regardless if you think the current size will work for you then I highly recommend it. I went out bought a gerber baby jar, eat the baby food, cleaned it really well (smell), and then when I put my flowers in it I noticed that it wouldnt make a tight seal and would just keep spinning. Ordered the jyarz and problem solved. The container is great, something you have to see in your hand to appreciate.

So far I have:
Arizer Solo
Santa Cruz Shredder
and now Jyarz!!!!

Seems like im obtaining a nice collection of high quality products (the first time rather than trial and error thanks to this forum).

We are making a larger size (see my post below for all the details). We do a lot of testing so it'll take a while but please stay tuned (maybe subscribe to our mailing list on JyARz.com - don't post often to it but we'll surely announce a new size!).

Thanks for the kind words of support!

We are working on a larger size. We are lining up a glass supplier now so we're early in the process but expect to have product ready in about 6-8 months. We do a lot of testing for quality...that takes time and money but we think its worth it.

Do you offer any cheaper shipping options? $10.76 (ups ground) seems a bit steep. I don't see any USPS options on the site.

We offer USPS for about $2.75 - strange that you didn't see a USPS option. I'll check the site to see what's going on. I'll get back to you shortly.

I just ran an order and it comes up with $2.75 USPS shipping for a single JyAR. Where are you located? If you are outside the US shipping is significantly more expensive.

I'm in MA I've seen the USPS option before but I just tried to order from my phone and only got UPS options. I'll try from the laptop and report back...Thanks for the quick response!

EDIT: just tried from the laptop and same thing only UPS shipping options come up no USPS. I'm trying to order 2 does that matter?

Edit again: it does matter!! But it seems strange... It would be cheaper to do two separate orders paying more for the jyar and less for shiping at $15.70X2= $31.40 instead of a single order for $34.76 hmmm what to do..the ups shipping might be worth the extra $3.36....

Thanks

Sorry you were right. Any orders of more than 1 JyAR were screwed up. I just updated the shipping rates. Please try it again. Sorry for the hassle. In fact I'll throw in a freebie for your trouble just let me know what color to add.

White to complete the trio will work!! Thanks again!!
Glad to see other members are trying out Jyarz. Yeah way2 please let us know what you think. At first my only concern was the gasket potentially wearing out, but after 1 month+ of use im happy to say I have no problems. The gasket actually gets a slight indent and it becomes easier to close. This slight indent (maybe a mm) in the latex gasket makes a great seal and seems rugged. Still very happy and would gladly give a larger size a try.

Also when using it I really stopped worrying about durability. I never thought I would really care about the durability but it is great to just throw it in my car and not worry about it getting damaged. I havent dropped it on concrete/street but I doubt anything would happen.

Thanks for the great testimonial. And, when I first started demo'ing JyARz I'd hurl them on the ground..cement, stone, whatever. But I came to realize that with enough force and just the right angle the glass would break on occasion. So, I don't recommend intentionally hurling your JyARz around because they can break. But with normal use and care they should literally LAST A LIFETIME ..in that they are modular so you can switch out components if needed. And as you indicated above, they are well made so you shouldn't have to replace anything for a good long time...that's why I say they're among the least expensive containers on the market.

Well I must say so far so good!! Received shipping confirmation within 2 minutes of completing the order!! I like that!! None of this "3-6 day processing" garbage!! Thanks again Jyarman! I'll be sure to post my thoughts on them after some use.

Glad to help. ...
I like you :)

Hey, how about you put a link to your site in your signature line? It would make it easier for [short-term memory is asleep when I'm stoned] some of us to find it.

However, I did just find it again, and ordered another 2 black jyarz... I must say, these are the handiest things for keeping my shredded herb fresh!

My non-true white JyARz has a cool transparency to it because it isn't light protected.

My cellphone picks up the logo but with my own eyes I can even see the slight outline of the bud shapes.
