VIP from SSV

You Must Unlearn, What You Have Learned...
I'd love to try this, does anyone know if the heater/cart is available separately? Their battery does look sweet but I have plenty :)

The VIP heater/mouthpiece should work on other batteries right?
epipemods.com has em for like 15 bucks, this pen is cheap and easy to manipulate with other products ie screens, coils, ceramics, batteries, etc. I believe that is why so many companies are piggy backing these pens, not only this type but others of course. I got mine from zainy.net and replacement heaters from epipemods.com.

Wish the flower cart was good to go...would have loved to test it while on holiday. :D
For sure, hopefully it'll be golden by the next time I want to get away.

I wonder how the flower cart will affect battery life. Vito has gotten some impressive use out of his battery for oils.

yoda...i just got back from my lhs and he said he could buy them now...i mistakenly thought they were still in beta.

my question to you is when do you think he should stock some based on the tweaks for flower usage. this guy is one of us and only sells vapes people will love and that gets them hooked on vapor, so i want to be able to tell him when to go ahead on this one. currently he only has the gpen and the persei, but that's a step up from the atmos and cloudpenz that most stores around here carry.

I can see clearly now the smoke is gone...
A quick hit for you.
I promise to get a full vid out in short order.
You will please pardon the resulting "look" on my face at the end...
I blame the "look" on this darned Sour Deisel Crumble wax that I threw in this pen
last night~

Haha, Sour Diesel gives me that same look. :)

my worry is (look at images in previous page) There are many materials being used.
The coils are from tungsten, pot metal, kanthal, nichrome, titanium, Stainless Steel and a variety of blends in between.
You can experiment with that "type" of recent innovation in heater by using one of the many.

... I got mine from zainy.net and replacement heaters from epipemods.com.
Help me with a link please.
I search the site and can't find a heater for this.

(I just clicked through the whole website item by item, and it is eluding me totally!)

my 1st impression is that the ceramic mouth piece insert (not the ceramic separater we speak of) as well as the spring is missing.
That may be a good thing as far as dry herb is concerned, but I would sure love to see the innards!
(what that coil looks like, where it is attached)
EDIT-
that is judging from picture...
the description includes it all.

Is that atomizer a regular 510 threading? Does anyone know if it will fit on a Thermovape T1 or Alpha Ultra battery?

I'm pretty confident I read somewhere it is a 510 threading.

Thank you, sir. For fifteen bucks, I've got to give it a shot. The only problem is knowing whether to use 3.7V or 6V. Of course I'll start at 3.7v.

Edit: it looks like that Cigo atomizer comes with a standard EGO battery and that pushes 3.3 volts under load so I guess I'm going with 3.7v.

I ordered one to see what happens.
I am not getting hopes too high, as the SonicCone heater and the Atmos Heater looked the same also, but performed poorly... but I am ready if this bargain wants to make me smile!

Agreed. Hopes aren't high, but we'll see. I'm more curious than anything.

ya like Vito I have a few screens to mess around with and I am curious and anxious as you all to get these pens to vape flowers! For me it's basically the stealth aspect of a pen vape easy to do in a car or on a bench in front but not right next to people.

I'm more interested in vaping oils right now. I love my Pax for flowers on the go. My DART and Revolution cartridges are great, but I can't load a pea sized ball in there for continuous hits. I wanted a cart that I could load up and get a bunch of hits out of. Yeah, I know, Omicron Carts, but you've gotta use a loading funnel and heat up your product and it seems like a pain in the ass. I like the idea of tossing a ball of wax into a ceramic chamber and going to town.

I only ordered one so I don't think I'm even going to try flowers in it. I'm just going to try a bit of wax and see how that works out. I've got glass screens, but I don't think they are going to do the trick and I don't want to taint what could be enjoyable use of wax with the smokey, ashy, nasty taste of combustion. If it work out well with wax then I'll order another. I've got a few ideas on how to use flowers in it. Time will tell.

I ordered the vip by ssv on Sunday because on Sunday it said 'enjoy your favorite herbs and essential oils'. Looked at the site again today. They added the black pen which was great. But they changed the description to 'essential oils'. What gives!

Sent an e-mail and they say now it's for essential oils only.

I'm new to vapes and was going with ssv because of their reputation and now they turn around and confuse the customer with a bait and switch. That's not right.

There was no bait and switch chill your jets. 7th Floor is reputable and puts out solid products

Eh, it's honestly better that you DON'T start off with your first vape being an herb pen. I'm sure they will refund it if you find it's a deal-breaker. 7th Floor also makes the Da Buddha, a desktop flower vape that's got a mean reputation as a simple, solid whip vape. You can't go wrong with it. I just feel that the technology isn't "there" for this kind of setup to be effective enough. If it were, we'd all have one ;)

Hey, I hear you on that. SSV has a solid reputation. I researched and their desktop model seems to be the superstar as a very effective product.

However, I ordered the product on the basis of their reputation on the desktop as well as the 'quick overview' description on Sunday which said it can be used for herbs and essential oils and now as of today it says 'essential oil' and they took out the word 'herbs' in their description. That's why I call it a bait and switch.

Hey, now everyone can know that it's not used for herbs and not get their hopes up wondering if it's an effective product for using flowers without the combustion

I agree they should of done a bit more testing before making that claim. That being said, have you inquired about a refund? I am sure they will help you out any way that they can. Let us know how it goes.
