Wow, the new "upgraded" vaporfection website has a valentines day ad that it totally just an image copied from google with the sale being written with the eraser in microsoft paint. What a joke

Wow... Hard to believe this! But sadly it's true... Something's going wrong with their marketting dept for sure! It really makes me angry that Vaporfection still takes pre-orders for the miVape. They could do it the right way and amend their business but it looks like they're under-estimating potential buyers' intelligence at this point. Really sad... I used to love Vaporfection and their innovative approach. I still love my vV 2s though!

I hope you guys that preordered get your money back with no problems. I see buy it now, but then read it is gonna ship early in the spring. Crazy. Looks like a cool device too.

I cant believe tehy thought it would be a better idea to make it this way instead of using a text box, let alone using microsoft paint. They are clearly lacking funds and with all the upcoming mivape refunds i doubt theyll pull through. What a shame

So, my miVape refund ended up having to come through Vaporfection. I'm pleased to note they did not give me any problems.

In Oct. of 2011 they said they'd be shipping units before Christmas. It's 15 months later and not only is it not in production, they're scrambling to find capital to keep the possibility of the miVape going. If I were you I'd shift my interest to other portables. The Ascent seems quite similar in size and configuration, and that one will be shipping pretty soon. There are also other good reliable pocket portables available.
Plus if it ever does get released im sure a mivape 2 will soon follow

Like Max mentioned, I advise you check out other portables. Vaporfection doesn't appear to be anywhere close and the company's ethics are questionable at best, in my view.
Looks like its been updated again... Changed from expected delivery in spring, to expected delivery in summer. Deja vu?
Anyway they have a note right under that saying "Please note: This item is for pre-order. Upon placing order you will be placed on a priority wait-list for first available shipping when it becomes available."
I think its kinda weird that they have "expected delivery in summer" and then "shipping when it becomes available" right under it. Kinda makes me doubt its release even more. Hopefully the new owners make thing right sooner than later though

Despite the bad behaviour here and other odd events involving Vaporfection, I do think they intend to produce the miVape now that they have found some backing. The original design that they showed in Las Vegas had a couple of serious flaws and that's why it was never released, and they needed money to redo the design. If there were a scam to take the miVape pre-order money and run, as some speculated here, then there would not have been a search to find a new investor.
