I got a metal tube chrome (I do not know what metal is), do you think that chrome can be used with butane?

Easiest Extractor I've ever made in my life. holds over 20 grams although I've only used 14 grams of critical mass and got back 2.4 grams. of some beautiful errl! It works extremely decent and it's nicer than the honey bee in a lot of ways. first off it has a one way refill valve that eliminates blow-back.problem I get with my smaller capacity glass extractor. Unlike the bee, it's clear! you can see what's going on AND it's made out of chemically compatible materials.no worries of anything leeching into your fine hard earned product guaranteed or your money back :)

Material info:

Chemical resistance info here: http://www.plasticseurope.org/Docum...hemicalResistanceofPET-20050303-003-EN-v1.pdf

and your regular 2 part clear epoxy

because it's the perfect type of plastic to use, cheap ( practically free) and they'll last for many years.

If you have a better polycarbonate container that's tube shaped, look at the bottom. There should be a stamp with a triangular recycling logo with the number 1 in the middle of it and usually under it, it would say "PETE" . This material is extremely resistant to butane hence why we make disposable lighters out of it.

And so is 2 part clear epoxy. the dollar store stuff is what it is. These are both materials that I studied and coincidentally am employed in the polycarbonate field. I know there are some things you should be stay away from and what's safe. This is real fact. I wouldn't post this without knowing what I'm talking about.

And I also believe ClubHouse makes some very delicious spice blends.

If you can't find one of these sold anywhere, rip apart a lighter till you have something that resembles this.

While I'm not going to argue your use of the plastic since you seem to have done enough research to comfort your mind, however your claim of "practically free" is a bit of a stretch. According to this link, the spice actually cost more than the $7 stainless steel turkey baster.(SSTB) http://www.canadianfavourites.com/Club_House_Roasted_Garlic_Peppers_Seasoning_660g_p/club005.htm Plus it seems you had to do more modifications than one would with the SSTB, you can use the SSTB right out of the packaging if you have enough material to fit in there. As long as it works for you, that's all that matter. :peace:

Oh I'm not defending plastic. I hate what this exact material is doing to our oceans where the sodium and other factor break it down to turtle food size but it's good for what I use it for. I don't blame you for
being iffy. I've never looked at the online price but my local grocery store sells em for under $5. $1 more for the epoxy and the refill valve was from a lighter that stopped working. sure it took a bit of effort to make but if you actually enjoy making some for your own benefit, go for it. The rest of you, shell out the duckets.

I dislike using anything with a cap or end piece. The pressure can build up and cause them to violently explode. Turky Basters, test tubes and other unibody forms are the best and safest. I prefer using the plastic tubes with rounded bottoms that planetvape sells, because they are cheap, disposable, easy to bore holes in and thick enough you don't need to protect your hand that is holding the tube.
