Thanks, sticks. I bit the bullet and ordered one, i just hope customer service takes care of me if i have any issues. Id assume this is old stock from vapenow which does have me slightly worried.

There was a time when i was always looking for the next latest and greatest vape. Than I beta tested the VXC. I knew it was "the one". That in conjuction with the Solo, I am set for vaping by myself. But beyond some select veterans, I am always weary of breakage of my VXC when used in groups of large people. especially when alcohol and ladies are involved. I typically roll joints in these scenarios.

I have a lot of experience with the volcano, but have never owned one, and never will. I have an old Extreme, still running strong. I wanted the Oracle to be that standout, the VXC of the bag market. But now i simply want a good value on a serviceable dedicated bag vape. I used to buy vapes like they were going out of style, but my last TWO vape purchases before the one today were both VXC's. I need two, simply because i know it changes EVERYTHING if one dies on me. i need one running for my daily medicating, and it seems nothing else satisfies in the evening.

OK, i guarantee this is the longest post i have made in many many months, (any way to check such things?) and it wasn't in the VXC thread. Cheers all.

Ok, I know this is REALLY off topic but ya got my curiosity peaked. I understand the alcohol part, but why ladies?

I'm a 28 year old single homeowner and avid bar patron. My half brother is a bar manager at my local watering hole about 3 miles from my house. So it isnt too uncommon for me to have a small handful of people over to my house at the wee hours of the morning, or sometimes just one. I'm not the prettiest man in the world, but often enough young barfly or waitresses/bartender or such will oblige me. Salesmen by trade. Always closing. To not go into more detail or start talking about my dick or something i'll simply ask this. Would you trust ANY 21 to say 25yr old girl who is slightly tipsy to completely obliterated with the VXC? What if she had 3 friends there too? There is NO WHERE safe to set VXC then.

If I was concerned about the safety of my vape because of someone that was inebriated was trying to use it, I would be concerned if they were male OR female. Like I said, I understand the alcohol part.........I just don't quite get the female part. Men are no less clumsy than ladies, or at least, that has been my experience, so I was just curious as to where you were comin' from with that.

So in answer to your question, "Would you trust ANY 21 to say 25yr old girl who is slightly tipsy to completely obliterated with the VXC?", no I would not, but then I also wouldn't trust any guys under the same circumstances.

Be that as it may, I do envy you, not only for owning a VXC, but for being 28 as well. ;)

Krazy...that's exactly why I have my Ion and wanted it repaired. I never use bags, but a good bag with a good valve system is a must for anyone throwing a vape party. My Ion works better now than it ever did, so I'm stoked to have that option handy.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who landed on the Cloud/Solo combo as the end-all for collecting! Currently I have six vapes I don't think I will ever get rid of...Cloud, LSV, HI, POD, Ion and the Solo. The first four are somewhat interchangable in that they are all my heavey hitters, the other two for specialty situations.

Got the Zeph today and ran two giant bowls so far. Bigger and heavier then i thought. Heats up dang quick, but she is a herb eater! Certainly can be more conservative with the VXC and makes me remember why I don't usually run bags alone (although i'll probably run a few more trial runs). Love my water conditioned vapor.

But, this will be the party vape. Easy to use, scoop in the herb and get blown away. I don't personally seem to care for vapor above the 370 degree mark on the screen, i tried up to 375. This vape will certainly be my go to for those late night groups, and for easy multiple person dosage. So far, I like it, but worried i am going to break the white piece of plastic off every time i remove a bag. I push the button, but damn it's tight. More to come, but i may be too lazy for a traditional full on old school Krazy Review like i used to do... but if anyone cares enough, i might.

*edit. Might I mention i AM pleased with my purchase thus far, great price point and certainly leaps and bounds above the Extreme bag function. Doesn't fill as quick as a Volcano, but close. Certainly heats up quicker, and is easier to load though.

Looks like i can't edit anymore, but i got a blue box Ion and forgot to mention that. not sure if that's the old stock or not.

That white piece is pretty tough, as is the entire lid...but I remember it being hard to put on and pull off at times. Bruce told me ages ago to push the valve as far down as it will go on the white tube. Did you get the 10 foot party bag included as well?

As I recall, the Ion's stength is temp control (to within 2 degrees), which is good for medicinal users or those trying to get the right effect.

No 10 foot party bag, but that does sound fun. Finish a load in one bag for sure.

honestly, haven't used the VXC since i got my Zeph. Mostly due to experimentation. Really liking it, but again it eats through herb fast. I've had it less then 24hrs and have already gone through maybe. 5 gra,s of dry material. And i was sleeping or at the bar most of those 22hrs. Either way cheers, im loading a bag for my shower. Hmmmm.

yeah...bags are fun now and then and a nice change of pace.

I didn't think the design of the Ion was overly efficient when compared to other vapes.

Salutations IAmKrazy2,

Got the Zeph today and ran two giant bowls so far. Bigger and heavier then i thought.

I tried dry leaves in my HerbalAire a few days ago, it does extract just fine but in that case i couldn't help it but think about this remark above, so here i am, to point out that if you grow your own weed then perhaps a giant bowl ain't a bad thing, after all.

:peace:

My zephyr lasted 2 months, how long did everyone else's last?

Mine is a green box... it's still kicking. Running for about 2 years or more now.

Be careful of the hinge pins. They are fragile if you ever try removing your Ion lid. Has anyone else tried the USB remote start? Email Zephyr Ion about it and test it out. It's pretty neat.

Also I can't believe you guys pack full bowls in this thing... Sometimes I'll just sprinkle a little keif on the screen and get a bag out of that, and I'll be good. Full bowls get this thick white vapor that leaves me winded. A good winded. But a coughing-my-heart-out winded. No burn though... no ash... no black burnt pieces even at 385... I don't usually go above 370 myself either.

I'm no rich guy, I like to conserve the stash too.

So if I post 1000 a times I automatically know what I'm talking about? He's not too knowledgeable because he was wrong. Anyone can look it up, hexcorp is an outsourcing company that imports zephyr vaporizers from China. I apologized because I'm not here to argue with anyone, I'm just trying to help spread the word so people don't get ripped off.

I don't own one, but my friend has one that has been going strong for 2 or 3 years his primary vape probably averaging at least a gram a day.. I considered buying one, but now I am on a portable vape kick. Also if I buy another bag vape it will be the Volcano.

The Zephyr company definitely has a spotty record though. I think my friend got lucky, but his unit works great.

I have had my Zephyr for like 3 years now. It actually replaced my volcano. I was tired of sticky mouthpieces and having to hold the bag while filling. If you dont pay attention the bowl falls off. I love my Zephyr, just wish they were still in business

I'd agree with that statement. I've honestly yet to own a Volcano... but my zephyr still hits as well as my buddies Digital. It's SOO much less maintenance, and I really like the little pan-shaped bowl... makes it really easy to keep clean. I've only used it like 30 total times... it's getting neglected in a box in my closet at the moment :\

I believe today was the only time since the day i got my Zeph in the mail that i used it alone. I took a random vacation day just to do some Spring cleaning, and some electric at the house. The Zeph is certainly eats more plant matter the my VXC, but it is easy to use, quick to heat, and the bag can be brought anywhere. It served its purpose well today as i walked around with a bag. I also forgot how the taste is really very nice for a bag vape. Cheers all, im packing another in the Zeph.

Just won a Zephyr on eBay for $115 without bags or baskets. Where would be the best place to find baskets? I looked on their site and I saw they had some parts for sale but not the baskets as far as I could tell. My second question is what would be the best bag to get for it or does it matter? It's got the valves and I'd like to use them I'm just not really sure how the bags are attached. I just want to have everything ready for when it gets here I'm so excited!

I usedto own the classic volcano, but ive found that compared to a couple other bag vapes (herblaire, zephr, vivape) they all work just as good, the only real advantage to the volcano is their herb chambers and bag valves. The volcano herb chambers definately beats the zephyr, but out of all the other bag vapes the zephyr comes the closest to being as good as the volcano bag valves
