I just rediscovered this and its more bad ass now than it has ever been before in my experience.

I think I've learned out to effectively use it well enough to where it really isn't to big of a hassle.

It works well enough I'd say that it is really nice to have along on random outings, though I like to keep my medicating to a minimal. It is kind of rougher than what I am use to, that water adapter looks mighty sweet; is that site good to order from ?

My mflbs screen is heavily blacken and mostly clogged by tar :ugh: from some shit resin. Its been sitting away unused for some time now. I recently got it out as I continue to wait the return of my cloud, I also have a eq.

I got the mflb because I wanted a quality portable vape piece to use at festivals. At first I was pretty disappointed but now its like being able to carry a joint again - I would also compare the buzz i get from it to what I would remember having smoked a joint felt like. I'll have to try it out with some kief for some heavy hits when the time is right.

today, for the first time, i saw a mflb knock off at my LHS. the overall lack of craftmanship and the general appeal of a mass produced soulless piece of crap almost made me vomit. how can one chose that garbage over the original is beyond my imagination. and most certainly, they don't come with the fantastic support, the constant innovation and a lot of love for the product, not to mention this community. i wonder, how many people got turned off from vaporizing and the real mflb just by cheaping out and buying that bland imposter.

Wishing I had that much better camera... but you can get the idea. Super Silver Haze topped with kief from it, about to let this baby rip.

Unfortunately discount-minded consumers seem to be the majority. They choose the lowest price over quality every time.

That's the way I felt the first time I saw that black monstrosity, that's supposed to be like a Mercedes Benz (or some other ridiculous analogy they use). It wasn't even a distant beauty. I saw the big ugly thing, in the display case and was like, WTF? Got closer and it got more hideous.

The screens are the part that always crack me up the most. What... they got 5 year old kids installing them? (oh wait... they probably do)

I also wouldn't discount ignorance. I suggest many buyers simply don't know any better. MF does not advertise, hard as it may be for some to believe there are some how don't read this forum, the only other way to even know is either word of mouth or some sketchy experience when stoned with something similar that was nice. Hard to make the soundest decisions every time that way.

Perhaps the best counter force is us sharing the good word? Maybe a 'share your Launch Box with a friend' campaign?

Hopefully if folks no better they'll spend their money wisely?

For anyone who ordered the chinese water pipe. Did you have to pay customs on it? I've never ordered anything from China before.

I had at least a dozen orders shipped from China, on sites similar to the one presented here. They usually come in letters similar to the one below.
The price value of the items on the "Customs Declaration" as seen on this package are generally false, and indicated at a lower price than they really are. Oh yeah and it is also checked as "Gift".
I never had to pay for customs (ordering from France), and if I would it would have been a percentage of a small value, so that wouldn't have bothered me really.
For such small parcels of such low value, I guess the customs would be really too busy if they treated them all.

Also I ordered the pipe mentioned on Thursday and I got a shipment notification 4 hours ago.

Thanks. For $0.49 I don't understand how it is possible for them to not lose money on these with the free shipping.

I got a notification today that it has been shipped and will be 10-20 days.

Welp, it's long overdue... but here's my Magic Flight video review. There's probably not a lot of new information you don't already know if you're apart of the MFLB cult following, but f there's one thing I'd strongly suggest... it's to buy the finishing grinder! It grinds your herbs to the perfect consistency for vaping. Check it out:

MFLB: A Quick Overview / Demo
Ps, check out my Steele Concept doing work! Love the shit out of that thing.

Well labor costs can be quite low you know......

And they do make some money selling your credit card information to the folks that collect that kind of stuff.

Only kidding, of course. I think......

What's the old joke? "We'll loose a little bit on each sale of course, but we'll make it up in volume?". This, I fear, is not really a joke.

Thanks. I love your reviews, they are so well made.

Felt-lined tins now? Aren't we getting fancy, MF!

:peace:

I think the felt lining probably prevents battery accidents. There's a post somewhere in this thread showing the results of carrying a charged battery without a protective cap in the tin container. It wasn't pretty.

Can mflb batteries be held together side on? I have a case for two batteries but they will be touching? No chance of positive ends touching. Just would rather be safe than sorry
Thanks

Over the falls, in a barrel
Side by side is fine, the only thing we need to watch for is a connection between a battery's positive nipple and its side or rear.
