Guy in tower, should have dropped first. Largest/closest target profile and stationary. HUGE BODY MASS picture... @#$%ers couldn't hit broadside of barn, WITH SCOPES! Plus, position, pinning you down. After that bastard dropped. Then, every thing and every one... I would be screaming to, "SHOOT THE BASTARD WITH THE EYE PATCH!"

Game/Governor, over.

Glen is a @#$%ing idiot and I would take him out back and kick the @#$% out of him for that dumbass stunt and then FURTHER @#$%ing up, by NOT T-Boning the jackasses that are pulling away from your trashed shelter.

Finally, if all those things fail. You get Michonne's ass snuck into that camp and tell her, "bring me his head".

At the very least, they need shock and awe, on that @#$%ing town. Hit them at night, lead walkers into the place, hit every wall simultaneously and kill every guard on it... we've already seen how they panic. Then go in and just start shooting ANYONE with a weapon.

I'd be the next damn governor.

They also, need to learn to communicate when under attack. Had others known the ass in the tower is dead, you then... turn, focus fire on next.

i like that show a lot.. i have read about as much of the graphic novels as the episodes they have gone through.. i love the show but it has too much attention to feelings its not believable to me that these feelings would get so much attention.. i don't think there should be much time or room for that in a zombie situation.. its like half zombie movie half ordinary TV drama.. i wish it could be just zombie movie style.. a quarter episode at most for the drama formula.. i'd be down w/ a 30 min episode version w/ all that shit slimmed down as much as possible.. aside from that, this season is messy.. i like it. season 3 is way faster than season 2 was

Zombies are one of my favourite things but I didn't see the appeal in this. It seemed pretty badly put together but I will reserve judgement until I see more. A big off-putting point to me was the main guy, I remember him from a load of crap British TV programmes, so seeing him putting on a fake American accent just seems too weird and takes away any kind of realism.
I find with most programmes like this that you have to see them from the beginning, maybe if I watch the first one I will see what the fuss is about.
I haven't seen any good Zombie series' recently. Charlie Brooker's 'Dead Set' was brilliant (not to change the subject), despite having running zombies. Very well directed with some of the humour you would expect from that man.

The appeal to me is that it is entertaining, for the most part. I do think the writing is pretty shitty at times, and the acting can leave a lot to be desired. When it's good it's good, and when it sucks, it really, really fucking sucks. I agree with the rest of you guys, a lot of the emotion is just too unrealistic, and once again, acted very poorly.

I thought the black guy with the kid in the beginning was the black guy that just left ricks prison and went to the govna. I was thinking the same thing ever since that new black guy arrived at the prison, as I though that was him. Am i wrong? :\

Depends on if they stick to what happens in the oeiginal novel or if they improvise. Pm me if u wanna know what happened in the original novel :D I dont wanna get another mod spoiler alert ;)

Note, they are not the same. Two diffrent charicters that are both in the original writings, however I will confess I am two tv episodes behind... So im kinda speculating I guess?

Yeah, the person pictured is Morgan Jones and his son Duane. The group that entered the prison from the downed wall is Tyreese, Sasha, Ben and Allen. Tyreese being the hammer-wielding badass your talking about. :)

Tyreese in the comics is an incredible badass. I hope they fix his TV version soon, their plots couldn't be more different so far. But alas the differences between the two mediums is what makes it unique, interesting, and entirely unpredictable.

P.S. How can you get them confused, they don't even look like each other at all .

what ever happened to the black guy with the kid from the beginning?

We have yet to hear from him (Rick gave Morgan the two-way radio transceiver) or see him. We just don't know at this point.

EDIT: Tyrese is from THE WIRE! Now that's another great show entirely.

Hes the guy who tried to bring Mike to the gym so he didn't become a thug.

Wow, look at that. Another thing I didn't know before I just looked at that link, he is the voice of Coach from L4D2. I guess he got some pre-walking dead zombie survivor training . No wonder they chose him to play Tyreese.

Do I like this show?

Lets just say I wear this T-shirt VERY proudly.

http://www.rangerup.com/zombie.html

I'm confused, is that a no? I mean, the description sounds like they are dissing TWD because of the characters stupidity. I mean I get that, they do make some rather questionable decisions. But if they did everything perfectly and the apocalypse was halted in a few weeks, it wouldn't make for an interesting story.

I'm so excited for tonight!! :haw:

Its a yes I do like TWD.

Their description is how I would act via the Zombie Apocalypse.

Also a the shirt says "The thing about the Zombie Apocalypse will be pretending im not excited"

If there ever is one, bring it I'm ready.

The thing I love about this show the most, is how clearly it illustrates that living people are far more dangerous than flesh eating zombies.

Yes, last Sunday's episode was absolutely one of the best episodes of the series yet. Great, riveting, and with immensely good acting.

And what about that badass setup Morgans got going on?? Fucking awesome!:bowdown:

Someones always watching..
Another episode much to do about nothing...ok so now they are really gearing up for a war?...Yes Im sure...Its really the underlying theme of the show an death...one in the same.I could care less about character developmant like Andrea having an epiphany...Or what about Glenn and Maggie going at it? These moments of normalcy do nothing for the show...Its a distraction to keep you from noticing nothings really going on. .:rant:So everyones roles are now recemented:horse:This show loves to take 2 steps forward one one back..Maybe next week well get a closeup of Carl skipping some rocks...

Ya know, if they came out with an album of soundtracks that played either at the end or close to the end of each of the episodes, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. They've put up some great music.

I've been recording the Talking Dead right after it and it is entertaining as well. My whole family digs this show.

I just don't share the sentiment. I love the writing, the acting, the storyline. If it were just killing walkers, going to war... most everyone would be dead, we wouldn't give a @#$% about any of them and the show would have been canceled a season ago.

I care about Glen and Maggie, Carl, Daryl, Carol, etc. Hell, I had a gut check when Axel bit the dust. I like analyzing their actions and decisions and wondering how I would have handled it different (I definitely would have had a contingency for the "Governor's" non-offer... he wouldn't have left there alive). Though, I would have already sent Michonne after his sorry ass. Michonne, another character that was a big question mark... and that tension added to the show. Now, we're seeing that she does want to be part of a group... she just wants it to be a group of good people.

That's really what I like about the show. The constant battle of what can happen, when good people (and the bad ones), are put under extremely adverse odds. The scene when they drove past the aftermath of the hitchhiker... then back up and retrieve his pack. BRILLIANT! Yeah, I knew he was going to play a role, later on in the show... but I wasn't expecting that, until they were driving back. Plus, if you were paying attention to Carl, through that whole situation with the hitchhiker, you could see him analyzing his dad, the situation, the reality... he sold it!

The story, is one of the reasons I like the show so much. They can carry this on, changing, evolving, adding, subtracting, characters and storylines. And there's always that fear, in any and every show... "oh shit, <insert name> is going to die!", then someone else does... or no one at all. They do keep you on your toes.

i feel like as a zombie fan, i look for something i could say.. OK, i buy that happening in a zombie scenario.. but waiting a week to see a show not really have anything to do w/ it is a bummer.. especially if that's what i'm there for. whatever though no big deal.. but still.. great show.. i'm still watching ha
