like that one but with the changes i mentioned. fused downstem would be nice too still really want the removeable mouthpiece tho! or maybe a micro mini honeycomb. probably not enough room to pull that off tho. just kickin ideas around. if these are possible im ready to spend money NOW!!!! lol

basically a smaller version of the pipesdaddy.com infamous vapor bubbler. but i want the mouthpiece to be taller with a better bend.

I also want the tiny bubbler with a 18mm female joint on top. I think the removable mouthpiece would up the cost to much for me. It seems like just the bub no dome, nail for around $38. I also love the 4 hole perc idea.
that bubbler was done as a joke.. it kind of took off after that..i have a few still but they are running short. i dont suspect to be making them again.. it really is a lot of work for such a small item. the recycler is somthing weve been talking about for a while now and i need to get to it, but im mostly waiting to see jhans first. just so i dont give him the chance to one up me.

Well I'm gonna jump on one of the tiny ones that are left ASAP! What's the best place to order it from since it's not on your ioffer store?

Some cool pieces, nice prices. I think any of our members, looking for a nice entry into higher quality glass, would be well-served checking out any... but here are some of my favorites, from checking out the site

Inline Showerhead to 8 Arm Minitube

Single 8 Arm Strait Mini Tube

Inline Honeycomb and Suspended Circ Perc

4 Slit Circ Chamber Perc Mini Tube (see Diffused Bubbler comments)

Blue Disc Honeycomb

Diffused Bubbler (an awesome little mini/travel piece, IMO. I would like to see the perc shape and cuts on this... on the Circ Chamber Mini Tube)

BDV, please trust me, just pick up a piece and try it out! if you dont like it, fuckn sell it, right? so why not? its not like its NOT in your price range, similar, more expensive pieces seem to be...

if you're into those tree tubes, pick up one of those glass on glass tubes he's making can detach the beaker bottom from the tube neck, for easy cleaning, travel, storage. also can put diff necks on for customization. with enough adapters you could make a hydratube too

Do you know when that blue honeycomb piece is coming back? Or any other color. I was looking to order but never heard back from colie.

My last piece was a mistake purchasing (the SSFG was a gift, from Allison). While I love the Big Mona... I miscalculated BIGTIME. Its going to take me, probably the next 3 months to recover. I'm trying to throw some in my glass stash... but I have to keep pulling it out, just to do things like put gas in the car.

I laugh... but... it still wasn't one of my smarter moves.

What did you happen to miscalculate?

@BigDogJunction
It wasn't so much a miscalculation. I had to make some arrangements with a lender that threw my payment schedule off. It helps me long run, but it screwed me short run, in that I had to double up, with a 2 week turnaround. Wasn't planned.

I sent Colie a few questions about this piece as it seems to fit my needs and budget. However after I submitted the questions I think it may be china glass. Hopefully he will respond with I didn't blow this piece but here are you answers. I did some looking for similar pieces after seeing this and found a few threads on GC. Not knocking Colie at all cause the reviews I've read state it's one of the best china glass pieces they have seen/used. If he found a decent product he is likely just passing it along and making a few buck.

It does look the a few of the slits are pushing smoke through though

That suspended honeycomb tube is pretty nice! My only concern is that joint holding it together doesn't look too big... might be to my liking in thhe 8-10in range, and the blue be slyme. I like it though.

Not sure if you're talking about just that piece, or all together, but for anyone wondering, yes he is a glassblower!

i heard he is soon doing a collab with another local artist, and im stoked to see!

ill let him announce what it is

Didn't get a response about my questions today, but I'll give him a couple days. Although that piece and several others on his site are china glass they are still decent prices. Also a mans gotta eat so likely makes money to support his trade (glassblowing) through the china glass. Apparently that piece used to be all over ioffer, but now I can't find it anywhere but there. I still like it.

Squeeky,

NewVape

What a guy!
I sent him an email a week ago on both his emails and have yet to hear anything back. This does not bode well. I was ready to pull the trigger on this one. But I'll let someone else to take a risk on this guy. It looks like this guy is not yet ready to take his business to the www. I wish him the best but won't trust my $ to him til I see some sales and reviews.

Thanks for the heads up NewVape, I'm going to check out my local smoke shop today, though I think it's either China or outrageous pricing. Don't know that there is a middle ground here.

so china produces glass tubes, and he blows them into tubes, what gives? so do a lot of people. Not everything he does is from 'china' glass, there are lots of diff kinds, and if you've ever orderd or been in a glass supplyhouse you'd undestand. if it was blown from schott like everyone wants, it wouldn't be the price everyone wants, that stuff is hard to get ahold of in the first place too.

if you're picking up a piece from a 'LHS' keep in mind they usually only do wholesale on production pieces so thats what you're getting.

buy from an artist and its made locally, and cheaper, supporting them directly.

buy from a glass gallery\shop and its locally made things, with outrageous prices for collectors and such, because they'll pay it, and the artists deserve it.

Squeeky,

What im saying is a variety of the items you've described could of been easily been a USA made waterpipe, from the design of a china made waterpipe.

Look at the base, welds, height.
Like nobody could make the same thing?
China replicates most of USA designs in most businesses anyways, because they're good....

I'm somewhat reticent to post this, as I don't want this to come off as bad-mouthing anyone. I think Colie should have a chance to offer up his side. However, I'm kind of confused.

I'm still waiting for an answer, as to who makes this tube? Not because I asked, but because I'm interested.

Also, the piece is specifically listed as "Schott and Momka Lab Grade Borosilicate". Awesome, if it is indeed Schott/Momka and made by a local blower. But is it?

My assumption, was this was a Colie Glass piece, but from my own Google search, after Squeeky's... I found several threads, concerning that particular piece, listed from several different vendors. All the threads, asking for the source.

On the topic of Chinese Boro, jhanpixel has always been up front about the fact he uses it. Some might begrudge him that. Personally, I don't. He's up front about it and doesn't make apologies for it. His designs, far as I can tell... are all his own (or at the least, original). You know what you're getting.

Going thru other listings on Colie's site, I see these different grades of glass listed, for each individual listing; Lab Grade Borosilicate COE 33, Lab Grade Borosilicate, Schott Lab Grade Borosilicate. I admit to being ignorant to the sources of these types of glass, though I do know Schott does not originate from China. Momka is from WA. Nowhere is the source of glass, listed. Its not as damaging as some might think, though. Heck, ask jhanpixel... he seems to be selling alright. I hope this is something we can clear up.

I'm not ripping on Colie. I, like a lot of others, would rather support the smaller guys... than the big names. I like knowing the name and being able to contact the people that made my glass. But, I expect disclosure up front, especially when its my money in the equation. I like a couple of the pieces listed on his site. I'd love to hit that reverse honeycomb to reverse showerhead and give it a proper vape session.

I hope we can have some patience from all and avoid slamming the guy. He has registered for the board, making him a member and is listed as a vendor/retailer. I would like to hear his side of it.

Oh... and xchadb... I think, Colie already kind of blew the collab news. He mentioned some work with jhanpixel a while back.

hah, hilarious.... all of it.

who cares? hahaha i mean....when it comes down to it, how many of you even have any of his pieces?
ive owned a double disc bub, dub disc wubbler, full diffused bubbler rig, sidecar rig, triple showerhead, showerhead bub. Satisfied with all, did i keep em all? hell no! huge collection! sharing is caring and i have friends to sell to locally, otherwise id prob keep em all! also countless domes, dabbers, dishes ect... happy with it all, get comments on a lot of it too!

and most of you are all here sitting here just complaining while i enjoy this functional glass with money in the bank

BDV-> no, i said
"collab with a local artist"
jhan is from cali....
its gonna be a recycler in everyone's fav color combo.

I don't think most people are complaining. There's a couple of complaints. There's a couple of requests for more information.

Complaints can be dealt with by the staff, if they feel they cross the line.

But, asking for info on the pieces you're considering purchasing (which at least 2 were)... I don't think is asking too much. Especially when Colie is a member of the forum.

I think if he were to address those questions, that people have emailed him about, or brought up here... it would probably result in a sale, or two and reviews.

I don't remember who, but I think someone mentioned they had ordered one of his pieces. Maybe they'll post a review, if they see the thread. I don't remember if it was a regular, or not.
