Hey Vicki, I have 12 surfboard in my garage and they are all different. Each one has its own length, volume, age, different style of riding, shape, etc.Why is that amusing? I have 4 LB's. My original intent, was to purchase two LB's, and have one for back up. However, I have found myself collecting them.
As I've said before, although I've been smoking for over 20 years, I'm still relatevely new to vapes and --like my surfboards-- I'm finding each vape useful for a different vibe, occasion, herb.
This is why, since they are not cheap, I prefer buying different ones and get to know them better.
But hey, maybe is the weed talking here, lol

I've been vaporizing since 2006, and have tried several types and brands of vaporizers. After all this time, I have found the the MFLB is best for me. It conserves incredibly well, and medicates me perfectly. So, I don't mind buying more than one.
Since you are new to vaporizing, of course you will want to try several different types as well.

I bought Powerex 2700 mAh, I removed the paper around the battery but she doesn't work. I feel that there is a loose connection, it works poorly and with difficulty. But I bought the batteries recommended by magic-flight.com ...

Hey man, ye this can be a problem, the slight variation in battery size can cause some difficulty, I had this same problem but with my stock and PA, I also have the powerex and they definitely have the smallest diameter,
I've read somewhere they have been changing the default tension in the ring,
Might just have to try another brand? Sorry not a very satisfactory suggestion, do your stock batteries fit snugly?, and power adapter if you have one,

If you're good and careful about it, you can tighten the metal ring yourself a tiny bit. I actually had the same battery problem (and the opposite one, too) when I got my original kit. One of the stock batteries fit loose enough that if I had it on the "loose" insert and tipped my box to the side, the damn thing would fall out! Like bluemonkey said, the batteries aren't actually 100% circular around. If you insert the battery and physically spin it around you should feel it being tighter at a certain point. My other problem was with the Logo batteries and my new box... the fit was actually so snug that it held the battery in place and actually combusted my goods. Yes, there was an electrically-ignited cherry in my box and piece. The taste was terrible

Just be careful about it! Give it a bit of tightening, re-check with the batteries, if it's not to your liking, give it another little adjustment. If you're not comfortable doing it/mess up in the process you'll be covered with the warranty.

Think theres a guide, on the vaporpedia, look for "tension" related fixes etc. Think it requires a vice and some other basic woodwor related tools.

Sorry you're having problems, but as you see you're not alone.
First off, you've been mislead, while the Powerex 2700s are commonly recommended by Members, AFAIK MF only recommends the ones they actually sell? That's the Imeron 2400s I believe. They are different physically, at least the ones I got are.
You can either live with it (rotating to find the tight spot helps, as does pressing to the side some rather than straight in), change batteries to ones that fit better, attempt to close the ring or shim them.
To adjust the ring you need to apply pressure to the metal only, not the wood. You can put the ground flat section of the ring on something solid then put a screwdriver blade tip on the ring opposite it and tap the screwdriver handle with a hammer gently. Take several small taps, checking each time, since it's very hard to open up again if you go too far. You can also use a vice or large pliers to crush the ring down some, but again you need to be sure it's only metal and not wood you're pushing on and take it slow.
Another option to try is a shim. I've used a narrow strip of tape (even paper a time or two) on one side to push the battery over in the ring, not the best but it's easy and safe to try.

I recently contacted Magic Flight regarding a battery question. I asked them about the new batteries they are shipping with the exotic kits. I was curious if they were sending these out when people just order batteries because I need another pair. It turns out they are NOT sending out the new batteries if you are ONLY ordering batteries. They are still only sending them out with the exotic kits.
This is exactly what they said:

Thats a shame, hopefully they will soon, I have the new batteries and the powerex 2700, while the powerex are powerful they do not hold charge for as long, so I try to use up the powerex first,
The new batteries come with the logo printed on the negative end if your wondering how to tell, they are very good and obviously well suited to launching
Have not done a real test on them, but its sure to say a lot of reviews need a edit to reflect the increased performance with the New ones
All have a limited lifetime, hopefully they last until the new ones are widely available

That was exactly what I was thinking. I'm going to have to make do with the batteries I have until they make the better batteries available for purchase. Hopefully that won't be too long.

YAY! I actually got a PA to work, with my old box... which I've been procrastinating. Still have not sent back, nor provided proof of destroying. Meaning, my new box... which of course, suffers the same fate as the previous box... has a broken lid.
Seriously... I shouldn't ever own something with a plexi lid.
So, some tape on the PA battery... a multimeter... some wiggling in the switch (where the real problem is). Think I found the sweet spot. FINALLY!

EDIT: I'm seriously considering taking a lid to the local plexiglass shop and asking for a high temp copy... just tell them, it has to be exact measurements/cuts. Then I'll have TWO boxes... of course, neither of which, is under warranty.

BDV, for a guy with your luck I'd suggest Lexan not Plexi for the replacement, the stuff they make bulletproof windshields out of. Not as optically perfect (still OK) but even 1/8 inch is near unbreakable.....even for a guy like you.

do you really think they would void the warranty over that?? i figured it was OK to do little mod's or what ever to your box if it didn't effect its function? i can maybe see the lid not being warrantied if you broke the one you put on, but i'd hope that changing the lid yourself wouldn't void the warranty on the box.. especially if it didn't damage it......EDIT: I'm seriously considering taking a lid to the local plexiglass shop and asking for a high temp copy... just tell them, it has to be exact measurements/cuts.
