Vaporfection - the AquaVape Inline Vapor Cooler

glad you got it all worked out there havealight!
Thanks much jam.

Hey guys, ill say it here cause Jam can't...
Go buy her big Aqua Vape in the classifieds, you won't be disappointed! 50$ shipped is a steal, support a sisters VAS. Mine comes out right after work, and goes to bed when I do. Since I got it, not a breath of vapor goes without water when I'm at home, hell the 5" could be pretty damn portable with the right case.

Thanks Vapinghole! Im definetly thinking about getting the small one now! Is it really spill proof? Cause id be using it with my vivape and just worried what might happen if it falls/ rolls off my desk while im not hitting it... Was also thinking about a silver surfer water cooler with a perc for 64.99, any input would be greatly appreciated

I have both of those.

It is indeed spillproof.
if you have too much water in there it may dribble a bit, but once you figure that bit out, it's fine.
Be careful when you are testing your water levels though, if you do get a slight dribble, it can cause a siphon effect and drain out a fair bit.
it's the sorta thing I had to deal with once or twice, and never again.
I've thrown it into a backpack with water in it, pulled it out at my destination, and no spills .

As for the 7th floor 6arm, IMO the bundle is great value for $65, but shouldn't be your only water filtration option. It can be a tad small.
Having said that, you get a nice sherlock arm, keck clip, and a WPA with it, which for me makes it totally worth it :)

My replacement came today! The 8" one feels pretty solid in the hand, weight is more than I expected(witch is good). It purrs smoothly compared to the small one I think. I happy. The rattling small one will be given away to someone who likes it, maybe ill purchase the small one again someday if I need the compact size,
Thanks vaperfection crew for the great service.

i ordered the large and small and the small works flawlessly while the large leaks no matter how much or little water i put into it. gotta play around with it today and see if i can remedy the issue.

Decided to bite the bullet and finally get one of these. I have read through the thread but still cant decide whether to get the large or the small.
So you guys that have both which do you prefer? I will be using it with a SSV and have a medium to fast draw rate.

get the big one for home use. its still pretty small for a water tool. i still love mine and use it everyday. so much so that im considering getting the smaller one for portable use.

hey guys i need some help

i just bought an aqua vape for arizer solo
now im trying to purchase a gong from planetvape - only they have alot of choices in size and other.

I think I'm needing a 14mm gong but they have 2 types - carbed and non-carbed - whats the difference between these 2 types? does one have holes in it for air and the other doesn't? which one would suit the solo more?

Carb holes are old school and from combustion days. Most aren't properly placed. Most places just throw a rubber stopper in there, as people don't want them.

Plus, is another weak spot in the glass. Avoid.

Oh yeah... I still think this is the coolest use of the AV and the #1 reason I want one so bad.

I'd agree with BDV, avoid the carbed version.

For the aqua vape, you don't need a gong solo stem, it may actually make things a smidge more difficult.

I use a stock stem (usually the bent one but it doesn't make a difference) with about 2-3cm of 7th floor whip tubing connecting the end of the stem to the intake of the aquavape.

The bottom of the aquavape is very close to a male 14mm gong joint, but I don't think (well, can't remember tbh) it will make a good seal with a female 14mm joint.

so you rkn dont bother with the PVHE gong's for aqua - go for the Ground Solo stems / basic ones. Is all the difference between the PVHE and basic one is the airflow holes at the bottom ?

Nah, you got it backwards, don't worry about the GonG stem for the aquavape, I'd recommend either a straight stem or a bent stem.

Imo PVHES stems are better, they have notches and channels in the side to allow airflow.

Here's how I'd break down my choices;
PVHES vs stock stem - go with PVHES
GonG vs straight/bent/stealth stem - go with the straight/bent/stealth stem unless you have other glass you also want to mate the solo with.

In other words, I'd recommend one of these
http://www.planetvape.ca/pvhes-high-efficiency-stems.html
Or one of these
http://www.planetvape.ca/solo-stealth-adapter.html

(With all the PVHES options, shorty refers to a slightly smaller bowl, and turbo refers to a larger hole where the glass screen of a normal solo stem is, so they need their own screen)

hey thanks man, that did clear it up for me, they are sold out of most PVHE stems so i'll just have to wait and I'm just going to use my stock stem when i get my aqua, and maybe buy gongs for the bong ill get in future.

I've made this idea a reality. i had a slightly different vision from a glass on glass idea, since the aqua vape was meant for whip usage. but ya i'm sure its all the same. posted it here - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/arizer-solo.3833/page-494#post-352039

btw the solo stealth adapter is in stock at the moment. i think its worth it. then you just need a lil tubing to connect the whole rig anyways and the arm is bendable :)

I see what you did there, pretty good set up, so you hold both units when your toking or do you put them on a desk/table?

I finally got the aquavape and I had it connect with some hard tubing from EQ - prob only 2cm so it was all vertical.

I bloody broke the thing cuz i was so used to taking hits while holding it all at once. First day of use i broke it god damn it lol now i have to import another....

The small aquavape still works but the bubbler bit has broken because it came out of the hard silicon when i was really baked and hit the Solo and basicly just cracked the bottom glass of the bulb inside it. still bubbles etc, just has this loose bit of glassbulb where the air comes up thru it. I have to be really careful with it, alot easier to get all the water out though when rinsing it.

tossing up whether to get a small or go for the large type? the small one i had seems to have the air entrace slightly tilted against the bulb glass so thats why i think it broke so easy, perhaps the huge one is made better?

i need something sturdy because i cant keep paying international postage on single units of glass/parts.

I just ordered an Aqua Vape (small, I believe) from Amazon. I think this will work better with the NO2 than our cheap bong does.
