I don't think so. I'm pretty good at getting useless abv, and that looks like what I usually get.

TRVB...it would be cool if the lid for the bullet were attached to itself so you could load up four or five of them and just quickly reload them. The current design calls for loading the bullet only when it is about to go into the unit.

Ok, I'm not going to quote everyone so I can answer quick.

Pak, the only disadvantage of a non full bowl is it seems to take longer to produce the type of clouds I like, plus if you're using the WT a half full bullet will only get you 2 or 3 hits max.

Sticks: you are a mind reader. I just got quotes on rubber stoppers for the WT, I was thinking it only needed 1 for the top, do u feel it needs 2? As for vapor path, there isn't one. It travels from the bullet through the mouthpiece so I guess u could call the mouthpiece the vapor path.

As for the fit of the MP, you would be surprised how difficult that was to get right. All I can say is it's way better than the prototype version, and I have yet to ever have it fall off in use. My engineer said it is impossible to snap off the little tabs that hold on the MP unless you drop it really hard on a hard surface

Thanks for the first impression sticksnstones! Good to hear the WT does a good job preventing throat irritation.

Would you be comfortable taking the WT with you in a backpack in a neoprene case or something? i think this would fit http://amzn.to/X6Qk64..or maybe even this one! http://bit.ly/YsXIWi

elevation...absolutely. I would be fine with it in a protective case or even a ski jacket pocket. It's small but doesn't feel fragile. I 'll be throwing both pieces in my pocket today to take them to my LHS.

trvb...I didn't think about the bottom already being sealed. Let's play with them and find out!

THIRD SESSION: Last night my final session with it was a full bullet on high, but I didn't hit it until it had been on for about five minutes. I was right...thicker hits, and the bullet was spent by the time the auto shut-off kicked in.

I'll try to take some pics of it with some of the units in the head shop today for size comparison. It probably compares best with the pens, but we'll see.

Initially this thing will replace my Solo for a while for out and about testing. I think it probably hits a little weaker than the Solo, but I will have to side-by-side them to find out. Either way, it medicates well enough that I am not concerned about switching it out with the Solo. I like that it is smaller than the Solo and doesn't require a second piece (stem). But if you do take the glass piece, it's a fuckin' water tool, so it's worht it!

Looks like the glassblowing on the WT is very clean, good welds and I'm still trying to figure out the double seal at the joint, very impressive! I'd be tempted to buy the water tool separately to use with my Solo. Great work trvb!

TRVB will the charger be compatible with 240v? would we be able to buy from Europe in the launch day?

TRVB do you know anything about this? I'm thinking about being an early adopter :freak:

I was thinking the same thing! I was going to order a stem from PV for this but then remembered that my Ed's stem will mate with it. So I will try that later and be able to do comparisons between the two units that way as well.

I've been thinking about this vape all morning. I think is a conduction vape. If what trvb says is accurate about the airpath starting at the bullet, then what we have here is a SS cylindrical tube for a heating chamber. We then insert the bullet into that chamber. The outer chamber gets heated and transferred to the bullet. Air is drawn up through the screen in the bottom of the bullet and through the herb. Unless there is a heat sink that the air travels over/through underneath the cylindrical chamber, then this unit is conduction. If I'm right, it means two things:

1 -- There will be a more sensitive sweet spot that will limit the speed of the draw, even though the air flow is wide open. It will need to be hit slower to get the thicker hits, and the target draw will be a narrow range.
2 -- This unit (if conduction) has broken new ground on how to evenly cook a bowl through conduction.

So, have I nailed the design or am I in error, trvb?

I know I have a tendency to lack the details that you guys all want in my posts, but to be honest I have never weighed ABV to determine load size in my life, nor do I understand half the questions people ask me. I simply forward your technical questions to my engineers, it just isn't my expertise. I am just a head. I am a customer. I am a smoker turned vapehead. I'm happy to tell you guys any details you want about out units or my thought process, but I need to call in back up for tech answers!! I'll find out details now and get them up for you regarding heating element and EU compatibility .

Ok,
I was told, and I quote "we do not want to reveal the magic of our technology, but Sticks isn't right"

So I pressed for an answer I can give and this is the best I can do.

The air is pulled in through the small holes on the outside of the Pinnacle where it than travels through a heat exchanger, which enables you to pull the hot air through the bullet and produce vape.

Also, yes if you find an EU adapter this works

Thanks for your answer TRVB, I already have some adapters so I think I'm ready. Time to wait and read reviews

Thanks trvb! So my next question is what is the exchanger made of. Is it ceramic, stainless steel, or something else? This is getting into airpath questions that come up with every vape on here and is of concern to our members. It's the same question I was aking of the VB2 but never got a definitive answer on. Basically, we want to know what materials the hot air comes into contact with...not the cold air before the heat exchanger, and not the vapor after it is created...we can see that. But what is going on with the hot air inside?

I got my WT for the Pinnacle yesterday. Dude, this thing is cool!

I had a lot of work to get done at home last night, but rest assured that the Pinnacle+WT+Super Silver Haze kept me company.

Initial thoughts: I couldn't really milk the tube, but I wasn't expecting to. Perhaps with more practice and refined technique I'll be able to, but I can say that it does make hits smoother, produces flavorful vapor, and effectively medicates. :smug:

I wanted to post a video review last night, but by the time I was done with work I was ready to turn in. I'm hoping work will slow down a bit so that I can do a proper video review, but at the very least I plan to post a more detailed review of the WT.

I was thinking the same thing. I used little plastic plugs (from TV product tubes) for the inh capsules; attached lids on the bullets would be awesome. A compact case to hold, say, 4-6 bullets would also be cool.

My abv turned out lighter than yours, sticks; my technique could use some improvement. I find that figuring out that sweet-spot is pretty damn gratifying.

Edit: Many thanks to trvb and the vb crew for really hooking me up!

Is there an adapter so the WT for the Pinnacle would work on a 2.0?
I assume you mean the VB2.0. If so, any 18 to 14 reducer will work, and they are coming out with one as well.

uuaa...glad you got the WT in...makes the whole experience better. I have been using it exclusively on high, but will use it tonight on low. I'm also gonna hook the Solo up to it to see if there is any difference in the clouds of the two units.

The Pinnacle heat exchanger is made from a combination of stainless steel Teflon, and a plastic called PES; Both Engineering Grade plastics that are exceptional for heat and resistance to breaking down. We made sure to be very careful to only use materials that could withstand the heat of the Pinnacle, and at the same time did not leave any “plastic taste.” There is no hot air contact on electronics, batteries, or any plastic that is not suited for extreme environments.

P.S. The VB2.0 directly heats the bowl, so the only thing hot air touches is the metal bowl.

Thanks, like the VB2.0, but want a smaller water tube for portability.

Here's a look into our QC facilities. Here the Pinnacle is being checked for proper temp control, and safety standards. We also do the "burn off" during this process.
