Yup..This is a problem for us in the EU. I would have bought the PAX a long time ago, contacted multiple vape shops and none could offer them. By the time it will be available, we have much better options to look out for, like this thing right here.

The INH XP is already better than the Pax and this is almost like an INH [ i really like those steel bullets over my orange flimsy thing capsule ]. The Pax has been killed, it actually killed itself with all the mouth piece and temp light issues.

Anyway Pinnacle looks great, I wish it was released with the 5 heat settings for 220 though. XP is 220 with an FC discount.

Very soon. 2 weeks aprx.

wow! 2 weeks?

my apologies if this has been covered, but what kind of cell life are we looking at per charge?

and will it compare to the INHxp in that regard?

i also like the idea of a SS capsule over the polyimide (sp?) the xp uses. but i like that the capsule and MP are one piece on the xp. less shit to have to hold when loading it on the go.

I really do not know the answer to that. My engineer is a bit of a control freak and he doesn't like the idea of the customer doing anything to the units. I talked him into the replacable battery on the first VB, and then that was it. I'll bring it up in the next meeting.

I can totally sympathize with your engineers position; users can cause a lot of damage to a fragile electronic system if they are given reign over things they don't necessarily understand. I'm thinking that his first fear is that some users will knockoff or unprotected cells in there and blow out the controller,

But at the same time, there are ways to design around these issues. Some of the manufacturers have started building protection circuitry right into the board of their vapes, which solves the issues of malfunctioning cells. You don't want to limit your vapes from the start when competition like the INH facilitates the easy replacement of cells.

Also, I'd be interested to know the charging interface for this vape. I've not seen it anywhere yet.

Just received it and it is charging now...initial charge is for 3 hours and it is supposed to last for 40 minutes of run time. I won't be able to speak to its function until later tonight. I will say this...I haven't gotten this excited holding a new portable in my hands in quite a while, so it will do quite well in the stores, I think.

It is way smaller than I thought. I know trvb put a pic up with a ruler so we all know its official size...but it just feels smaller in my hands than I would have thought. If this thing hits well it could easily be at the top of my portable list. I could fit this and its water tool in two pockets easier than the VB2 in one pocket.

Another thing...I love it when manufacturers put thought into what it takes to maintain a unit and include a bunch of little doodads to help. This thing has a lot of that. It has a good brush for cleaning, pipe cleaners, a wooden stick to change the screen, two mouthpieces, and maybe more. It makes it feel like you have everything you need.

Here's a pic for size reference.

If that cleaning brush is the same as the one included with the VB2, it will work beautifully for cleaning ELBs. The diameter is just slightly bigger than the ELB, so it's a tight, snug fit that cleans bits out in a flash.

I am going to put some sort of exchange system in play that will ultimately get you a new unit for a fee in addition to the return of the dead unit. The details are being worked on, but as a whole we've only been around for 15 months and batteries dying has not been an issue....... Yet. I do understand the need to keep up with the Jones' on tech, but at the same time trying to keep the price low. Every Man wants a wife that does it all, but how many of us actually find one?

PS. Official FC discount on this item saves you 15 percent. Discount code will be Available soon.

TRVB will the charger be compatible with 240v? would we be able to buy from Europe in the launch day?

REVIEW DISCLAIMER: My review style is to check in after each session and give feedback. The strengths to this style are that you don't have to wait for weeks for my feedback, and you get to see how the journey goes. The Arizer Q is an excellent vape, but my first night with it as a new vaporist was a nightmare...you might benefit from knowing this and maybe even avoid some of the stumbles along the way to mastering a vape. The weakness is you may get the impression somewhere along the way that I don't like a vape, when in the end I would highly recommend it (or vice versa). So keep that in mind...

First session: I get what upupandaway was saying about whispy hits, but I think it will end up being technique. At no piont was I choking on clouds, but I was able to get visible vapor on a full throttle hit (something you can't even attempt with a Solo) on low temp, and thicker vapor on higher temps and a slower draw. So there is a sweet spot in there and I'm gonna find it. The airflow is wide open...nice! I started on low and halfway through put it up to high. It warmed up quickly and only took a few seconds to get from low to high. The taste on low was good and started to deteriorate on high. The high setting started to irritate my throat (this is my problem, not the Pinnacle's. I never go above 5 on the Solo for the same reason), so I promptly got the WT and filled it. Much better...it did a good job of softening the hit and has a nice little purr. I let it auto-shutoff and ended the session with a good buzz...no need for more (I filled the bullet about 3/4 full. The bullet is smaller than an ELB and looks like it would fit snugly inside one...I will check this later).

It's a neat little vape and has my attention. You know when you have a killer new toy that makes you feel cool just by holding it? That's what this thing feels like. It's little and I can't wait to pack it up and throw it in my pocket. I could easily palm it and hide it if walked up on...very stealth. And I can probably hit it with one hand and almost cover it completely (medium sized hands here). This is one review that will be easy to do...no need to force myself to use this!

No stirring required, I'm assuming?

Also frothing at the mouth over the little water tube... thinking this one would be wicked for hooking up other portables to.

I did a couple of shakes toward the end of the session, but no stirring. I wouldn't go near the bullet while it's on or just after using. I dumped the bullet and all the abv out at once afterward and checked it out with tweasers. Very evenly browned...only a couple of lighter flakes. That load was a close second to the Cloud in even brownness.

I'm glad it arrived, I hope you enjoy! As for touching the bullet, I have some brand marks on my hands but it does cool down in about a minute. That is the reason we included 2 bullets. Also make sure you dump that hot bullet on a surface that can handle the heat.

Edit: I just re-read your first review. We do recommend that you fill the bullet, as it will naturally get smaller as its used. A full bullet amounts to a half full bullet of ABV

Is there some benefit from a full bullet, or disadvantage with one that's half full? If I recall correctly, a bullet would be about .2 g. I (and I'm pretty sure others) want to know how well it handles about half that. The FV bowl can hold several grams but I put .1 g in at a time. It works really well. Ploom told us to fill the Pax up and pack it tight, but again I put in about .1 g at a time and it works just fine. I'll bet the Pinnacle handles half loads quite nicely. Over to you, sticks.

Second session: First of all, let's get the obvious out of the way...why another session already? Glad you asked. As you can see from the pics, the bullet is smaller than the elb I am used to.

So after an hour another session was in order. Also, I just couldn't wait to use it again!

This time I went straight to high heat with a nearly full bullet. I don't know what the heating element in this thing is, but I'm convinced it really is convection because it hits much harder after about five minutes of being on than it does when it says it's ready. Also, the abv is just too damn perfect to not be convection. I'll bet that if I don't hit it for about five minutes I get a pretty thick hit. Not that I'm disappointed in the hits now. I'm gonna have to go back to some of my other vapes for comparison, but it doesn't really matter...the thing medicates.

This session was on high with the WT the whole time. At no point was my throat irritated, which I can't say for any of my other portable vapes which usually get too harsh at the end. The WT really does the job. I ended up quiting because the battery turned off, not because it was too harsh. By then the visible vapor was gone but I was still hitting it because it was comfortable.

Yes, paka, I will definitely test smaller loads, but like I said, the bullet is already small enough. My next session will be with a half full bullet. It should handle it fine given its convection design. And I agree, it got cool enough after about a minute. The screens are nice and fine also...very little particulate passing through!

FEEDBACK:
1 -- The WT is counter intuitive to remove. Since it is rests on plastic, it works fine to twist it off. But if you intuitively rock it off you can remove the joint with it, exposing the bullet while the unit is on. Which leads me to...the caps don't give me a secure feeling of staying on. They have just enough wiggle and they come off just easily enough to where I want them to be more secure when in use. I m not using the mouthpiece, but just the 14mm piece, even for direct draw, because it fits a little tighter.
2 -- Given the attention to pack-in accessories, I think it would be the absolute shit to have plugs/caps for both ends of the WT. I could fill that thing with water and throw both pieces in my jacket pocket and have portable, convection, water-filtered vapor anywhere I want! Please do this!
