yes u will have problems with cold if used with way it comes in the
box all vapes need something extra to make them work super super good
the evolution needed alot of extra things for it to work for me

and for a vape to work for me it needs to have the power of a table top (extream q /volcano)
when i first got it it only had the power of prob say have that so still pritty good for a portable

so i realized there was alot of heat traster from heater to batterys and base so i got 2 510 couplings used for ecigs and attached them together only buy 3 threds and put a paper clip threw the middle to finish the concetion because its spaced out with only 3 threds being used and this solved that problem now it heats up super fast and gets hotter base never gets not anymore.

this one is going be hard to explain but then the mouth peice was way too hot to touch with lips so i made an extened one so i got a 510 ceramic drip tip use for ecigs pushed a inhalor fine screen threw the top of the cermic tip and then all the way threw to the other side so that it makes a curved screen outwards => if u know wut i mean. this prevents it from cloging and inscreases air flow and this ceramic peice will be the first peice the heat touches. now put the plastic sleve and mouth peice over the ceramic drip tip will fit almost perfect so then u tie some cotton string around to make it wider and it fits super good air tight cotton wont burn it starts to vape at 500F vape only gets to 410 430 max
now u have an extented mouth peice with ceramic inside. the ceramic drip will with have a rubber gasket seems to be ok tho its still soft and playable could use cotton there to. cotton doesnt seem to work as good for ez connecting tho but does work so now the vapor is way cooler and can take big ripps without burning mouth and throat. you can use smooth flow moister conditioner instead of home made extented mouth peice but it only works for a few hits then gets hot but it looks better wont work if u got friends tho homemade extended is the way to go i say look 99 % store bought lol

then i learned it didnt work in the cold weather lol so i took the clear plastic tube they gave me to hold the batters and put it over the heater not touching it and used the rubber cap with top cut off as the conector peice to connect the tube to the vape then i cut the clear plastic tube so that the mouth peice is exposed this makes it so the fresh air gets heated befor it enters the heater core. i can't ask for a better vape now could maybe do with more battery life but aww its all good carring extra power is no problem. So now its same power as extream q sometimes its even better bong hits with it are intence

also the heater core needs a break in time maybe 15 uses but i noticed that the core glowed super bright at first then slowly got dimmer now its staying at the dimmer glow and its staying there but the heat seems to be for even and batteys don;t die as fast

alost the batterys need to be charged and used 5 times befor they hold there maximum power makeing you get more hits per set of battery

do all these thing and you evolution will be better than any other vape garentee

Not sure where to post this but how do you clean the smooth flow mouth piece? If I throw it in iso wont the ceramic absorb it? How do I get the iso out of it if that is the way to do it? Does it take weeks to evap if that is the way? Do I take the two pieces apart?

boil it or soak it in water then let dry

question about the smoothflow, do i really just take my mouthpiece off and drop a drop of water in? the water just sits in the hole?

I just chuck mine in what ever water bottle is around or my cup. If it is ice cold it is way better and smoother. Don't forget to blow out the excess. I have found that some will sit in it if you want you can soak it leave it in a container or your pocket till you are ready to use. My container that came with it was cracked so it isn't usable.

You simply wet the porous ceramic which is safely contained in precision machined housing, making sure to shake out, or blow out any excess water.

I'm with PB on this one (seems to happen from time to time....). I'm even less formal with mine. I rinse it under the sink faucet for a few seconds, shake it a time or two, and go. I used to be real careful, but then I realized the odd drop of water in my mouth wasn't a big deal at all. I find more important than doing it carefully is doing it often.

I tried a drip bottle like e-cig guys use, total waste of time. Too much water where I didn't want it, not enough where I did. "Rinse and shake" is the call IMO.

Wow it never even entered my mind to be careful with this thing. I am glad you don't have to. I knew the only thing was not to let water go towards the vape which is handled but blowing out the excess.

I really do need to boil it tomorrow that was the only thing I never did before and I have had it a long time. I was sticky today so figured it must be time.

anybody have success with QWISO in their evolution? I saw mentions of bubble working well. are they similar?

Agreed. Put the other way, QISO (and any other extracts that melt) are not appropriate to Evolution. It's a herb cart that will do bubble and kief under the right conditions (sandwiched between herb typically).

Ok i was at my hobby shop and they carried tenergy LIon batteries with the same specs but with a higher capacity would these be safe to use?

Don't do it, wrong ones.

You want the 750 mAh. They really do better. Other guys have got the 900s and regretted it.

The 900s just aren't up to the power level we need. They get warm for a longer time. Not hot enough though.

EDIT: for future reference the travel size Advil 10 tablet container is the perfect size for the EVO cart and a little stash

The black cover for the switch mechanism (where the batteries push onto complete the circuit has in seated itself any idea how to re seat it? ( This is not the battery sleeve or the insulatin sleeve around the battery sleeve this is the black sleeve where the EVO core threads on).

Do you mean the evo interface's outer delrin insulation? If so I had the same thing happen. Look at the top, where the cartridge screws in. The three metal pins need to align with the holes beneath. I found it easier to push the pins out and place the delrin upside-down so you can push down hard and it will snap back into place. It takes a bit of force and make sure it is going straight in, not angled. Then you should be able to screw it on the battery tube to turn it until it lines up and push the pins back in.
