What other herbs have you tried in your vaporizer?

how do you do green tea, what kind do you use, and just placed in vaporizer?
I used loose leaf i picked up at an asian market. the flavor is pretty standard, but the quality was stemmy.
I used it in the HA with a whip, sometimes mixed with mint.

Powdered Kratom leaves!

Someone posted in the Enthnobotanical thread that vaporizing Kratom would not work because you would get sick before you feel the effects. I found quite the opposite to be true for me.

I have had great success vaporizing Bali Kratom powder mixed with weed in the MFLB (yet have to try it in the SSV). The tast however kind of reminds me of baking powder but is still bearab
Weed + Kratom is one of my favourite combinations since the weed seems to prevent me from getting nauseous when I vaporize Kratom.
The effects of Kratom when I vaporize it seem to be more centered in the head.
Whereas when I drink Kratom I experience the effects more dominantly in the body. Combining both methods of use seem to work really well.

Did someone else of you also had success vaporizing powdered Kratom leaves or Kratom Extracts without getting sick?

I've always wanted to try blue lotus in a vape. Although I have no idea what temperature it vaporizes at.
Has anyone ever tried blue lotus extract? I find it really relaxing, much more so when I'm not medicated.

I just vaped a blend of holy basil and brahmi. Interesting, and you can feel the effects, but maybe would be nicer taste with less basil (was already blended).
My favourites are liquorice, fennel, green anise, peppermint and dried blueberry and strawberry. I have vaped a lot of already blended herbals from tea bags too, most have been delicious and very mild effects. Cinnamon is weird, tastes great but the effects are rather strange and i didn't find it enjoyable. I like to try a lot of flavours, but very rarely use anything other than Mari.

I have tried the following:
- Cannabis (duh!) :)
- Sage (Salvia officinalis)
- Wild Thyme (Thymus serpyllum)
- Green tea (Camellia sinensis)
- Marsh mallow (Althaea officinalis)
- Lavender (Lavandula)

A nice mixture: cannabis, sage, green tea, and a bit of lavender. It produces an interesting entheogenic effect that is somewhat different from pure cannabis.

from tea bags, yes. I drink a lot of different herbal and fruit teas and occasionally vape certain blends for the flavour. The cinnamon i vaped was actually a cinnamon and liquorice organic tea blend.
are you opening the actual store bought ones and vaporizing?

Occasionally, yarp. Is there something strange about that? All organic, non-bleached bags. I drink a nice blend and sometimes wonder what it would taste like to vape, a few I vaped were really nice.

The very people who bring you the MFLB also sell some nice herb combinations. The "Feelin Fine" mix is very nice.

Damiana has a very definite, mellow effect. But I'm pretty low-tolerance, so almost anything works on me. Some dried ground mint from the garden is great sprinkled on top of a nice trench of OG Kush!

Damina is supposed to somewhat synergize with weed, i still want to try this one. Chamomile has some notocable mild relaxing effects. White sage tastes like body odor and didn't have any effects.

I really want to try blue lotus stamens

and suddenly, the possibilities seem endless!

I've dabbled in herbalogy for many years, and while I knew that some herbs were helpful if smoked (and, I've never smoked), I didn't know that they could be vaporized! Now, I think my herbal tea bags might be in jeopardy! :)

The possibilities ARE endless and so is my urge for experimentation.

Love herbal blends and like to make some myself.

Seeing those prices they ask for those blends in shops I think it is a good thing to make your own.

Anybody ever vaped dried Belladonna seeds?
Or dried Amanita Muskaria?

I wonder what effect they will have when vaped as they are mostly used for their psychotropic properties.

Which herbs never should be combined?

Hey. There are several studies which have tested how the chemicals in Sage (species of Saliva) affect us. Some have indicated varieties of Sage are beneficial for one's cognitive abilities. The chemicals in Salvia officinalis, S. lavandulaefolia and S. miltiorrhiza are the most concentrated and the most well studied for their effects on our cognitive processes.

HOW MUCH TO TAKE? In one study the participants consumed a pill of Sage extract (**) across 6 weeks and consume a single dose of between 160-3300-mg of per week. From a total of 6 doses, the results for the Sage pill group showed decent increased cognitive abilities within session as well as slightly improving these over time at each testing session. The amount of 333-mg was reliably found to be all that is required to achieve these improvements.

(**) I'm assuming people visiting this forum would use leaf; I wouldn't know how much these extracted-mg measurements equate to in leaf form, because the former takes processing to become more potent per unit (liquid solvents dissolve the chemicals in Sage into a liquid, which is freeze dried into flakes for the pills).

I reckon that vaporizing is a much easier and faster way to dissolve the chemicals into your system...and maybe just as potent as pill extract :) To vaporize Sage, set the temperature at 190-C / 374-F / or #6 on a volcano vaporizer.

So give it a go yourself and see if you feel any different - especially if you feel that budd decreases your cognitive functions!

- Yeah it's great to grow your own herbs and mushrooms (very tricky for the latter though). So easy to do and so satisfying so reap. I'd be very keen to eat some Amanita muskaria too :)

Definitely, those prices are insane for something you can have for cheap. Plus the freshness of home grown is better for getting effects, than those preserved blends.

BTW, Belladonna aka "Deadly Nightshade" is decently toxic. Hallucinations likely, but may be not the best, because of the poisonous effects. I'd recommend reading more up on that one, to be safe.

Thanks for the advice Vaporizer!
I did some dried Amanita Muskaria I collected some years ago, very well dried.
I did 2 stems of this with the Solo.
They have that typical mushroom flavor/smell and the effect was similar to a very light dose of Psilocybe cubensis.
With Spring around the corner I can hardly wait to see what else I can grow to put in my Solo.

i know this is somewhat of an older thread but i've been curious about vaping alternatives besides MJ. i've mainly been looking for something that'll help me relax at night and sleep all the way throughout the night without clogging up my dreams too much.

i'm leaning towards the Vapor Bros Herbal Blends that MFLB provides on their website since i know they're definitely safe for vaping. However, which one of these blends do you guys think will be best for my needs? i'm thinking the 'Sweetly Calming Herbal Blend.'

Has anyone tried justicia pectoralis (I think it's know as telo or tilo in South America) in any form, especially vaping...and what were the results? I am looking for a relaxing herb to help me sleep to alternate with my medically legal in my state "herb".

i have a question, how to vaporize fresh fruit?
I read in this forum that many users put a little little piece of fresh fruit into a vaporizer, but how it works, size of the fruit, dry or fresh, temp etc.
Thanks in advance!
