Yah we will see, either way its not looking good. They put the vivape2 on sale for 299$ in september/october for rosh ashana (or however you spell it) that tuened intothe thanksgiving sale, which turned into the christmas sale which was still a christmas sale before the site went down. I doubt they would lower the price 150$ for all those months if they werent falling on hard time and/or trying to unload before the release of a vivape3 which would be a huge fiasco if a 3rd vivape came out before the almost year and a half of delays for the mivape.

Hopefully im wrong, id love to get my hands on an actual mivape, but with the upcoming ascent im losing interest in the mivape every day. Sure glad i canceled my preorder, but if they do not come back i kinda regret getting the extended/24hr warranty. I did get my use out ofthe24hr part but my extended warranty is just about to kick in so it would be a shame if they went out of business before next january lol

I also just want to add, if anyone remembers the stealthvape, they took preorders bunch of delays, website got taken down, after a couple weeks (or months) they posted on here saying everything was getting taken care of came back with their website and then nothing again and no more site. I know vaporfection is a much more reputable company and was actually selling products, but as far as the mivape/website thing goes its eerily similar

Edit: just wanna add if u try and log in at the bottom it comes up with the log in page saying maintanence mode is active so hopefully were all fretting over nothing

ugobo...what was his response to your request for a refund?

I told Dan from Vaporfection that i wished to cancel my mV pre-order while there was a buzz here that something fishy might going on with them. He replied saying not to worry and that he would take care of the refund. I also told Dan that i still believe in the mV and that i would be the first one to order one when it's available.

Both vapornation and vapeworld are selling the viVape for $289 which includes a $50 manufacturer's rebate. Given the cost of the unit to these distributors - unless there is something extraordinary happening that isn't visible - this looks to be a liquidation/fire-sale price (45% off factory list $499, 36% off retailer discounted list $449).

That is very logical thinking OBG... I would tend to agree. That is more in line with "everything must go" prices.

That's alarming for sure! I took advantage of those sales and bought a second vV 2 as back-up. I hope we have the wrong impression though...

good luck with the manufacturer's rebate.

I asked for a complete wand kit,a value of $50,instead of the mail rebate for the first vV i bought and had no trouble. I just asked basically the same thing (some tubings and balloons) three weeks ago for the latest one i bought and this time they refused and asked me to mail the card instead! I did'nt catch that one at the time but now it might make more sense i suppose...

Yeah i was thinking about getting a backup in case the worst is upon us, but i dont know if i can pull the trigger seeing that the first two units i had only lasted a week. My current vivape has been going strong for a good 6-7 months but i dont know if i wanna take the chance of having a backup knowing that it might be one of those faulty units and might die in a week and i might not have anywhere to get it fixed soon :-(

Its 289 on vapeworld and i dont think that comes with the rebate. Its 339$ on vapornation with the 50$ vaporfection rebate. Either way not looking good

I personally wouldn't take that kind of chance. You have one if it breaks and they are still around you will be able to fix it.

I currently only have 1, so i dont have one if it breaks which is why im thinking about buying a backup. The two i was referring to were my first unit and the replacement for it that each only lasted a week. And things arent looking good right now so i might not be able to get it fixed soon

Well I would say don't throw bad money after bad even though you love the vape. As you stated you have had issues with past units and more then likely will with a backup. The vape world is exploding so if you can't get your vv's serviced you can just get something else. Maybe someone else can service it.

I can think of several vapes I'd rather have for that kind of money! Go get an LSV or something.

I think one have to try a vV 2 to truly understand why a current vV 2 owner wish to buy a second one as back up. The vV 2 is simply an incredible vaporizer in my opinion.

Looks like I'll have to take your word for it, especially if they are clearing out stock.

Really sad news today. Here's an e-mail i received from Dan who used to work at Vaporfection.

I hope this e-mail finds you well. I'm not sure if you know, but I am not longer working at Vaporfection. There are some major problems with management and funding. I cannot get into too much over e-mail but I would encourage you to maybe charge back your CC for your miVape order because the chances of it being produced any time in the near future is very very slim. I wanted to give you a heads up in case you were trying to contact me. This is my personal e-mail so feel free to get back to me here.
Sorry this message comes with bad news, but until the company can revert back to the original owner/creator I will not be a part of Vaporfection. (Lots of litigation starting to happen right now).
Let me know if you have questions and I'll do my best to answer them.
Best,
Dan

I know this is a double post, but I want to make sure people know what to do.

I was trying to hint at that for awhile now...

Call the credit card company or bank you placed the pre-order through. The number will be on the back of the card you used. Tell them you are dealing with a company that has taken your money as a pre-order and is not going to release the product. It is pretty simple to do. If you used a debt card you can always go into a branch and sit down and talk with someone. They will walk you through the process. It saddens me when things like this happen. I hope everyone can get their funds back.

Another update.

We've just been informed that orders canceled after 60 days must be canceled by the card holder through their credit card provider. So you have to make the refund request to your credit card company.
Sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for your patience. YFAV

Which also means that every owner of a vaporfection product might be looking at something that wont be made again.

Sorry guys, i'm sure it is not easy to deal with this situation.
