Arizer Solo

First post. Hope this is going where I want it to.
Dreamerr, sounds like my new solo has done exactly what yours is doing. Worked fine for 5 days, plugged it in to charge and all that happened was the constant beep, blue light on, no charging light and the bottom 3 numbers kept blinking the yellow light. Have reset it and it continued to not charge. Then today I tried it again and it is charging now.

Can you please tell us which model # you have ?
It's located at the bottom of the Solo .

sbrew, I had asked Randy if they knew what was wrong with the old unit and I never got a clear answer. Maybe I will email and see if he ever found out cause that would be helpful. I don't know if it was a battery issue, a loose connection or something else. In either respect I would just do a return and get one that works all the time. I have had zero issues with my new one. I have the M1A which seems to have some bugs.

This is supposedly the newest MODEL with a stainless steel chamber.
M1A3808683

It is the newest model .
Where did you buy it ?

If you got it from Puffitup , Randy will take care of it . ime
I've heard Planetvape is also the same way .
See if you can exchange it for an M107 model , if they have any left .
That's the second latest model and seems to have the fewest reported incidents ...if any .

Hey BSF33 ,
Enjoy

I bought it from an ebay seller. When I emailed him about the problem, I was told to email service at Arizer, explain my problem, they would determine about a replacement and then the seller would send the replacement. He said he was an authorized distributor. When I registered the unit at Arizer I received an email back before this problem.

This is what I was told; "If you ever require warranty service please contact the retailer where your unit was purchased. If your retailer is unwilling or unable to resolve a warranty issue for you, please contact me directly and I will either have a distributor in your area resolve your warranty claim or I will process a warranty claim for you."

I have emailed Arizer service with what the seller told me and explained the issue. Sounds just like Dreamerr's problem and now that unit is working like mine. Don't know who or how to get the M107 model. So frustrating. Now that it is working and I already notified everyone, I think I'm going to just continue using it and see if the problem recurs and wait to see what they do. I hate now having a unit that I am going to wonder everytime I charge it, if it is going to charge!!!

I have a M107 = Work Horse
My M1A = Was a LEMON
Swapped out the Batteries and now it works perfect!
Now I was still stuck with a LEMON.
So I ordered a shrink wrapped battery pack and change out the battery from the M107 which became the LEMON.

Result:
Two Units that work amazing.
My new BATTERY UPGRADE in the M107 is 33% more efficient as a result of the change.
Maybe it was a bad cell?
All I know is my two SOLO's are incredible!
I will run the old batteries trough a tester and get the real story?

That is why I don't buy anything on ebay that I am not willing to toss out. I would never buy electronics that more then likely are going to need service.

Just wait out the issue and if it happens again ask arizer who to go to fix it or get a replacement. My new one is perfect same model as the old one but no issues.

I don't work for these guys and not affiliated...I bought a Vapir No2 from a seller on buy.com. It said it offered full warranty etc. I ended up returning it and having to go through the warranty process to exchange for an Arizer Solo. Anyway, I learned that they will cover ebay bought vapes. Might be worth checking out to see if it would apply in your situation if Arizer won't help you out. www.vapewarranty.com

I got my Solo from Amazon and the seller would not deal with the return. Don't worry Arizer will take care of you. You will have to pay more for shipping to Canada tho, which is why Arizer tells you to contact the seller first.

ARISER Customer service should have just replaced my lemon instead of asking so many questions.
Luckily I know how to correct things that are defective so I fixed it myself.
The funny thing is the battery upgrade gave me a 33% improvement.
Don't get me wrong I love the SOLO and it is my device of choice for flowers.
My two units should last long after I'm dead!

Hi people, received my solo this week and I was thinking how often I should clean it. I guess the best way is with iso and a q-tip, right? How often you clean yours?

I clean the bowl whenever it looks dirty which is hardly ever. I do use a q-tip and iso. The stem is up to you. I am now collection oil so it will get dirty until I can't take it anymore.

The Solo vaporizer by Arizer is pretty awesome, I honestly think it’s one of the best portable vaporizers currently available.
It’s made by the same company that produces the Extreme Q, which is a popular forced air bag and whip-style vaporizer for home use.
The best part about the Solo is the vapor quality, it is very clean and tasty. You’ll still have to deal with some of the usual annoyances of a small vaporizer, but the taste and smoothness is great which is really important.
I'm new to vaporizing and compared to something like a plug in EZ Vape, the taste and the quality of the vapors is great compared to the charred taste of the vapor produced from the EZV. The EZV is a completely different review though. I digress.
Overall I think this vaporizer is great and I highly recommend it.
If you’re thinking about buying a Solo definitely check out Vapornation.com, for the best prices. That’s where I get my all my vaporizers from and there’s some really cool peeps that work there who are very helpful. They’re also a fully authorized Arizer dealer which is important for warranty purposes if you should need it.

Cheers. :peace:

Some people like to let their stems accumulate considerable buildup, at which point they make hot chocolate and clean their stems at the same time. Why waste that goodness?

Thx for yous answers guys. I was asking for the bowl, the steams are pretty easy to clean. I think I will clean it with a q-tip and ISO once a week like I did with every part of my old Iolite.

Edit: I'm going to buy a new bottle of ISO, is this what i need?: http://www.ebay.es/itm/Alcohol-Isop...1?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_186&hash=item1c2f62372b it says 99,9% purity so I think is the best one. Will use it too for making QWISO from my trimings and ABV

For the bowl ,
I use a q-tip with iso , and put a fine screen under the q-tip .
And use the fine screen as a mop and swirl around the bowl .
It works great , to get at the outer rim , I use a pair of tweezers on top of the fine screen .
99.9 % iso is perfect .
