Hey fellow Vapeheads,

I can get a deal on the Arizer Extreme for 100 euro's..The thing is, i have no idea how well or bad this 1st version of the Extreme performs.

Last night i searched the web, hoping to find some information on it. Safe to say..i could not find any. I found a shitload of information about the Extreme Q though.

Can any of you help me out? I think it's a pretty great deal for a bag and whip vape. It will be my first non-portable vape too. I already own the Solo.

Thanks!

There was Extreme and V-Tower. Extreme had a fan and remote. V-Tower doesn't. Then there was the Q update (midnight chrome finish, some component enhancements, height reduction etc.), which affected both models, but only Extreme got renamed to the Q as the upgrade affected it more (fan upgrade).

If that's the Extreme and not the V-Tower (as explained by Seek) then it's the model I have. It actually has three variations and the differences are not really important. If this is a new one then it will be the V3 (the temperature setting goes up to 260°C). I haven't used a Q so I can't compare them, but I can assure you that the Extreme performs quite well. I think you'll be satisfied with your purchase.

Thanks everyone for responding. It's not a V-tower. I am sure it is the extreme, since it can do bags too.
I will probably get it tomorrow. I am quite excited. As for the price, the Extreme Q is still 250 euro's here, and i don't see that price dropping soon.

Vaping through bags (Volcano) was my first vaping experience ever. It got me higher than i ever got with combusting, but i was not a heavy user then. I am actually on a break from weed, to get my tolerance down and to break the habit.

I want weed to stay special, instead of a daily routine which it has been. I will let one of my buddies test this thing out for me of course! Looks like i got something to look forward to the next time i inhale the great green again :D

Highly recommend the arizer extreme, think the only benefit of the Q is a remote control (which to be fair is handy if wasted!) and a few ancillary add ons but mine hits the spot in a way no other combustible smoke ever has or ever will!

So i got it 2 days ago and it turned out i am a lucky bastard. The guy that sold it to me used the name Arizer Extreme and used a picture of one too. I guess he didn't know there was such a thing as a previous version. So i got the Extreme Q version :D.

It's extremely quiet when blowing bags. The bags make (a lot) more noise than the device. It's also probably as efficiënt as my solo. I can blow two bags on 190 degrees of 0,15 gram.

I would like to smoothen out the experience by using a bong though.
How does this work? And what joint size does my bong need to have? I was thinking about buying this one http://azarius.nl/headshop/bongs/glass_bongs/bong_glass_classic/

Are you thinking of doing a direct draw via a bong or running the bag through the bong? Bongs generally come with either a 14 or 18 mm down stem. For a direct draw, you can get a glass on glass adapter that will replace your mouthpiece and connect to your bong. It will have a male end that goes into the down stem and should fit on your whip. Or just try inserting the whip into the down stem, though the connection won't be as tight and you might want to help seal it with maybe an o ring. The Extreme Q comes stock with a rather rigid PVC tube, which can be a pain when you're trying to manipulate it into a bong. I'd suggest upgrading your tubing to medical grade silicon, which is not only more flexible but has a higher heat tolerance.
This post should tell you more than you need to know.

Glad to hear you got a nice deal there and a re happy man! I love my eq which i currently have on loan to a buddy with a broken solo. To hook it up to a bong you can take the elbow you fill bags with and attach it to the end of the whip and put one end in the bong and on on your cyclone bowl. if you do this make sure you have the screen in the right place...
