For a contribution of that very same topping I might be able to arrange for the photo of Tweek to have an accident next time I'm by......

Or not.

Hey, I don't take sides in these things and who couldn't use a couple grams from a fellow Forum Member?

Tim - with the hotter core, does this mean combustion is still possible, like the T1? If so, any idea how long it takes to reach combustion temps - so we can avoid it?

That was the biggest issue for me with the T1 - I combusted on my first attempt. The Evo was too conservative in the other direction, so hopefully the Cera is somewhere in between - but either doesn't combust or makes it very difficult.

"Hotter" means the temperature of the core will reach the maximum temperature quicker than a core with a lower wattage (which will eventually reach the same temperature). For example you have a 14 watt Cera and a 16 watt Cera side by side and turn them on they both will reach the same temperature, but 1 will do it quicker.

When the Cera was first mentioned they said it would be more resistant to combustion and I believe that will still be true with the 16 watt core.

Hello,

I really want to thanks OF and Tim for keeping us informed the last 2 months ...of excitation....Wait is over !.....Long Life Cera !.... Sorry for people who cancelled orders....

Tim, do you think skins and 2900Mah Batteries for the Cera will be available in February ?
How can i do if i want a Home Charging kit for 4 batteries, it doesn't exist ?

Is there some "510 compatible adapter" piece coming ?

And will it be possible to use the actual LL Cartridge with the upcoming mini Cera ?

Thanks again Tim, i am sure that it's the most ingenious portable vape at this time, minimum electronics = minimum failures, removable battery = no need to send your cera for changing battery, simple to use = user friendly ==> in my opinion it has REALLY been built to last ....

Only problem is that i can't order now ($$$$$) maybe (i hope) in March ...

OK SO GUYS (and Jam) NOW WE ARE ALL WAITING PICS, VIDEOS, BATTERY LIFE TESTS, REVIEWS, COMPARE WITH MFLB, PAX, SOLO, AND PHOTOS OF yours A-lready V-aped H-erbs...... !!!!!!!!!!!!!! until where this baby can toast our herbs ?

Prove me that it's the last f***ing vape that i will have to buy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it stabilizes at about 1200F at the hot part no matter as I understand it. At the higher powers, more of the heater element (closer to the ends) reaches that temperature, and the heat migrates out of the area at a higher rate (the body heats faster). But about that time Infrared Radiation kicks in big time and 'extra' heat energy is radiated away spreading the volume out without raising the magnitude if you follow?

I've tried to make the 16 Watt core combust, it got mighty toasted but no combustion. I'm not saying somebody can't do it, I'm just saying I think they'll have to work mighty hard to.

very interesting!! I'm going to order the cera, but I want to order some extra batteries so I have spares. I want to have it so I can always have a battery fully charged, for example if I'm chain vaping. (lol) lets say battery A is dead and I put it on charge, how long would it take to charge? I'm going to order all batteries and chargers from thermovape with my cera. Sorry if its off-topic but I asked a while ago and I think my question just kind of "blended in."

Excellent question, I don't know. I'll try to work that into the testing and let ya know?

If you use the 'factory charger' (which is very fast relative to others) it takes a little under 3 hours worst case for me. IMO two should be a minimum (you need a second 'charged' one to swap in if things seem slow). Given each is good for a half hour or so of solid on time, most guys would have trouble putting a serious dent in a charged battery while the other was getting topped up? A half hour of sucking on a Cera should 'kill ya or cure ya' for long enough you'd think......

Good to here you haven't combusted with it.
So it sounds like most of this extra quick heat is just being dissipated out through the body.
So, how hot is the body getting now?
With the "extra" heat, can you cycle it on and off during a session?
Or is it just powered on constant for say a full bowl

I wanna see a pic posted of one of those boxes posted to Buford, ga.

You're very welcome, Brother X! Glad you got in line. We both know that line is gonna seem like forever, but it's not really. And the sooner you get on board the faster your name gets to the top. But no doubt about it, it'll be better looking back on than forward to.....

Best wishes that passes smoothly and quickly for you and you get to the 'enjoy it' phase, now that the decision part is behind you.

Hi Tim, welcome back. Say hi to Zeki for me.

I have a question.

Are these the (current, shipping) values for the three Cera cores:

Leaf - 16W
Oil - 14W
Juice - 10W

(and can I assume that's at 3.7v)?

I might be wrong but for those who order their ceras now, they could "lego" their cera so that they order the oil core but with the LL cartridge thus getting lower wattage if they desire so or want a longer battery life?
And if they want to go for marathon battery life, coulddn't they just opt for the juice core to go with the LL cartridge?
Just pondering for my future orders...lets say (and I'll wait untill everybody got theirs) I order the oil cera later on, can I set them up according to my mood? so LL core with LL cart for faster short sessions and Oil core or Juice core with LL cart for longer, relaxed evening filling sessions?
FUN !!!

I think you might be a little mixed up, there's one main Cera body that runs the same either EO, VG/PG Liquid, or LL.

But there is a separate core for those 3, and the cores run at different powers.

Like Haywood said which I believe are the current temps are

LL-16 watt
Liquid-10 watt
Essential Oil-14 watt?

Top 2 for sure.

But you can't have a LL core and a juice core working at the same time or mixing power.

1 main Cera body (SS or Ti) and 3 cores (one usable at a time)

I believe that's how it is... Anyone?

Edit: Maybe I didn't read your question right, forgive me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, I think I might not be clear enough in my ramblings, I meant to say : would it be possible to use one of those cores with another cartridge? so the Oil core with the LL cart so you vape your herbs but in the correct cartridge but with the different lower power core?
So I orderd the LL cera, if I order lets say the oil cera, could I interchange the cores but keep the same cart?
I was just thinking about a do it yourself way if TET decides not to sell different watt cores in the near future but one might want the option off longer battery life once in awhile

LL-16 watt
Liquid-10 watt
Essential Oil-14 watt?

I think it may be

LL 16 watt
Oil - 14 watt
Liquid - 10-13? watt

See quote below.

We have actually revised the EL cores, we made them hotter now to ease in the warm-up. This way you can get almost instant vapor with PG/VG fluids.

The "core" is built into the cartridges. The user cannot change how many watts it has.

EDIT: PB but didn't OF say he changed his order from EO to Liquid because Eliquid ran at 10watts?

Lol, I shouldn't be talking. No idea where I'm pulling this from ha.

And if one would order both LL and oil cera and just switch the LL cart from the LL cera to the oil cera?

You buy the Cera with the LL cart for $250 and the oil cart for $99.99

You can unscrew the LL cart from the Cera body and screw in the oil cart into the Cera body.

I'm sorry PB, I think I am confusing everybody here, what I mean is, if I bought two cera's, the LL and the oil, if I switch the LL cart from the LL cera to the oil cera, will I have more battery life with virtually the same vape results? My question is not about using LL or oil or so but regarding batterylife, and I know buying more batteries would be the cheaper option but if I want the oil cera too it would give me the option to exchange carts on the lower or higher watt cera's thus giving me or faster heat up times or longer vape pleasure on one charge?
damn, i'm getting myself confused soon

I think in theory it would be possible to disassemble the carts to swap the heating coil so you could reduce power manually, but...
Would you really want to risk bricking one or both of your carts, (as well as ruining any chance of claiming on your warranty any time in the future, I'm pretty sure there are anti tamper seals)
I would get the full power cart they are shipping as standard and experiment with it and if you find it not to your liking then, send it into TET and I'm sure they will re-wind it to any power you want. Or ask if they will wind a lower one to start?
Also I'm sure they know what they are doing and I don't think it will be too bad for bat life, (although I admit this is an outright guess)

We should know soon enough...

I see. You think the power comes from the body. It does not.

If you have a Cera LL vaporizer and a Cera Oil vaporizer side by side the power will depend on how the LL cartridge and Oil cartridge were made.

If you switch them around the LL cartridge won't all of a sudden have a lower watt.

If you wanted to switch between a slower warm up time and a quicker warm up time you would need multiple LL cartridges.
