To those who have received their shipping notifications, congrats, but can you let us know if you ordered the SS or titanium version?

I've been here with other employees doing what we can to get the orders out. Glad there is a little relief here huh? Sorry for any confusion with shipping dates on that bullet'd template we sent out. Some of the first ones we sent rushed being I'm so excited and I must not have typed them properly. You'll notice I spelt January "Janurary".... Anyways more shipping labels to generate and stuff to package.

Sorry about that earlier post, I didn't feel it necessary to discuss with customer "LecThen" over the forum, despite people making a mountain out of a mole hill. Anyways, for those that keep calling in asking " Are you even a real company".... Now you know we are, making the best portable vaporizer out there AND it's finally shipping. We're as relieved as anyone else. Maybe you can all take a sabbatical from the forum to get in your zen modes while the Cera gets shipped. Some bad vibe on this forum lately, which I completely understand after all that has caused this new jibberish thread and the official Cera thread being locked.

Feel free to email and call in BUT know... IT WILL ONLY Prevent our team of 5 or so from working in the warehouse building vapes (hence the sabbatical talk earlier)!

Again, thanks to everyone for waiting and being patient. We cannot thank you enough for your support and understanding. It's been a learning experience for us.

Here's something extra...

If I've broken any rules here in this post let me know mods. I don't ever post in the forum but had to get on after jamming to the post office JUST before cut off time!

Until next time.

There mailing them in the order they were recieved I think, this will be interesting to see who all gets a USPS notification over the next few days next, there's going to be some happy people around the world.
Just thinking back to the days when the tears and knots of anxiousness in your stomach anticipating cera coming around the mountain and here she comes see her yet? You see her Lol
Patient everyone

here are the exact quams that I have with this company....trying to sell prototypes and altering the product and not updating their web-site pictures and details....if you were not a member here how would you feel if you ordered going by the pictures etc at their site and then it arrives and it is a lot different from what you paid for....not too happy I would imagine.

KrazzyKid this certainly looks like a side switch/safety switch to me.

Well please don't worry about either of those issues. They are not selling prototypes. Nor are they selling Beta units (which follow prototypes for those that don't know). What they are selling is a pilot run. I'm not sure, but I think 200 SS and 100 Ti units. This is the standard thing to do. From that you make your production release and do production schedules. At least that's how high tech light manufacturing is done around here. Much of the delay is precisely because they don't sell the prototypes (which look nothing like the current unit, in fact some of the bits I saw don't even look like vapes I recognize)

And you don't have to worry about getting something that doesn't look like the photo, not that that is a big problem IMO, it happens a lot. But in fact it looks very very much like the photo on the web page. The end of the safety pin sticks out about that far and has the same screw in the end.k

pakalolo that was about the people that may or may have not received their units by now, not TET.
I know that TET knows just to make a new thread.

For instance if I were one of the first 5 people, I wouldn't come into this thread to post my review on the Cera because this thread is a jibberish thread.

Yes, I was by this morning, they know and intend to start a thread very soon. The pile of units ready to ship has grown to 15, more were being built so it may be more by now. They were fighting with the new computer inventory system software, typical CIS stuff not letting them print labels for stuff not showing up 'the right way' in other files. When I left, a good part of the company's talent was in one corner suggesting work arounds rather than making something. Last I heard they were going to generate a manual mailing list to work off. There was also an discussion about what sort of shipping should be used but I think that got decided (if I understood right, local shipments are faster with a different carrier than the East coast kind of decisions).

The variance of these statements, though not entirely contradictory, are hard to swallow as anything but absolute drivel at this point.
This is sad.

I'm very sorry folks seem to feel this way. I've made 3 attempts now to read through the last day or so of repetitive whining by guys that have cancelled, wild speculations and now flat out insult. That's enough for me. I'll end my review at that point.

I'm finished with conveying that "absolute drivel", you good people are on your own, no more updates from me.

TV will, I believe, be opening up a new thread with a photo of the shipment.....good luck on that happening soon.

And yes I too think it's sad. And I also agree with KK, and see it as advice of sorts, I won't be wasting any more of my time by logging "into this thread to post my review on the Cera because this thread is a jibberish thread"

Good advice, that.

Titanium should be here this week... As much as it pains me to not say the exact date I can't. We've spoken to the machinist today and they are shipping out a small number of the parts we need. They are local and should be in a couple days as far as I'm concerned. But they aren't here until they're here.

Edit: not many have ordered titanium so don't let that "small number" fool you! :D

No more posting for me especially about shipping. Wrong thread. You can take this post down if necessary!

Glad to hear units are getting sent out!
I'm anxious to get mine, been needing something for the drive to class and between classes.
Back pain and 8+ hours sitting at a computer don't mesh well together.
Love using my T1 but needing to stir and mess with the load don't make it as mobile friendly as I want.
Save me from this dugout TET!

Sorry you feel that way OF, my comments were not in any way directed at your awesome and helpful and informative updates, those have been a saving grace. Pretty sure everyone is very thankful for your presence. My apologies man.

I'm confident in the products, and don't mind the wait, the lack of clear communication was my only issue.

Very glad to see some folks getting shipping notifications.

smokum

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
 I'm also happy to see that others will soon be getting their purchase and can relate their findings.

For myself.... if all turns out well... I'll probably be in the Feb order line-up when items are stock shelved and ready to ship.

I can definitely say this.... I sure found a bit of worthwhile calm after stepping down from the paid pre-order game, not to mention kiss off to the anxiety it created in me ! Suppose 'some' people (myself included), are most surely not of the mindset to play 'that game' ;)

I too learned a bit about myself I did not know, smokum, and also humbly stepped down so I could calm the f*ck down, and enjoy things again. No vape is worth that level of anxiety IMO. I'm glad I did it, learning a lot from this one. Isn't that what it's all about anyway?

lol it did get pretty dark in here.

Indeed, indeed. To contribute to the jibberish, we might all puff our pipes and ponder this musing from writer Samuel Johnson, who had a great deal to say on this very issue of spirited debate (and by god i think he's onto something!):

"It cannot but be extremely difficult to preserve private kindness in the midst of public opposition, in which it will necessarily be involved a thousand incidents, extending their influence to conversation and privacy. Men engaged, by moral or religious motives, in contrary parties will generally look with different eyes upon every man, and decide almost every question upon different principles. When such occasions of dispute happen, to comply is to betray our cause, and to maintain friendship by ceasing to deserve it; to be silent is to lose the happiness and dignity of independence, to live in perpetual constraint, and to desert, if not to betray; and who shall determine which of two friends shall yield, where neither believes himself mistaken, and both confess the importance of their question? What then remains but contradiction and debate? and from those what can be what can be expected but acrimony and vehemence, the insolence of triumph, the vexation of defeat, and, in time, a weariness of contest, and an extinction of benevolence? Exchange of endearments and intercourse of civility may continue, indeed, as boughs may for a while be verdant when the root is wounded; but the poison of discord is infused, and though the countenance may preserve its smile, the heart is hardening and contracting."
Johnson: Rambler #64 (October 27, 1750)

EDIT: also including a picture of the fine gentleman author himself, he looks to be quite baked and pondering whether to purchase puffed cheese or popped tarts!
