PART 2

This is all the Fishbone stuff, along with the HydraTube.

Here's a closeup of the bottom of the space dish, I love the little Fishbone Sig

and here's the top of the dish.

This is the Spacey Dome.
It's 18mm, fully worked, joint and all :luv:

This is the dabber, I'll probably end up using it as a stirring tool though .

This is the space adapter, to go with the dome.

They go together perfectly :D

A closeup of the 2 non-worked adapters.

Here's how the HydraTube looks on the stand  .
When I first envisioned the HT stand, it was very similar the the HydraFeet VXC now offer (I started this order just beore they brought them out), but it had an extra female joint just sorta tacked on, so I could use the HydraTube more like a traditional piece. I told him I hadn't given the idea too much thought, so if he could think of something better I was open to it. He suggested a small chamber with a stemline in it and I liked the idea
Fishbone asked me what bore I wanted for the stand (it's kinda more than a stand at this point, but I'm gonna keep calling it that ), and I told him I was originally thinking about something with about the same bore as the Hydratube, but I was happy for him to make a judgement call on what he thogught would be best.

I absolutely love how it turned out :D
With the way the HT reduces it's bore at the mouthpiece, the larger bore on the stand makes it look like 1 big piece that was made together.

Some Closeups of the Spaced out Stemline.
I counted 17 holes, and it diffuses really nicely. It actually feels nicer than a few inlines I've owned that had cut slits :D

The stand - the Male joint on top is 18mm, for the HydraTube, and the female Joint is also 18mm.

The Hydra Tube.

And a bonus little stacking pic of the Stand+HydraTube

those are some sick pieces Fred! I'm not usually a fan of worked stuff, but that space look is crazy.

Lou,

Just ordered from Apix today a 13 inch gridded stemline.

Even though this costs more than the tube, I think I will add it to my order.

My Custom tri-pod bubbler. A local guy blew it for me. Has a honeycomb disc style perc, 18mm FeMaLe joint for easy vaporizer pairing, custom dome, matching dish & dabber set. Has more of a chug sound/action, but I LoVe it!!

This is my first attempt posting pics and I'm doing it via my iPad. Hopefully I linked correctly so the images show!!

recently got my grasscity order.

one item of which is a 9mm thick beaker bong with an add on showerhead gg stem.

OMG! this thing is fucking totally ridiculous.

The mofo weighs about 5lb with some h20 in it!!

So after my back surgery from hefting this badboy about,

I felt the need to give a name to the thickest, scientific thing in my lab.................................

'BEAKER' of course!

Ordered this piece before Christmas & found it on my doorstep when I got home from work/partying on New Year's Eve. What a Great way to start 2013!! Was ready to crash but had to get a session in that night. Love this piece, the mouth opening is smaller than I expected but a very good buy. Was only $130 after shipping. I have a video posted in the Solo thread if anyone wants to see it in action...

Edit: it's an inline to 8-arm tree. Foggy in tree chamber from hot water session in this pic. It's clearer in the Solo Vid.

Nothing special. After missing out on the sweet Wildrok in the Classifieds, I decided to take a trip to the local LHS and see if they had any decent prices. Walked out with this, for $66. Not a bad deal for name brand, 5mm and a bit of color work. They had an orange slyme piece with the colored glass, in the same areas, they wanted almost $30 more for it and it was ORANGE. I would have got it in green. Oh well.

Here we go. At least it adds a little bit of color to my collection and it holds the SSFG Mini Inline. Though, I actually like it better without the AC/Perc. Its a pretty damn big hitter for a small piece. Its got the sandblasted horizontal slit downstem. But, I think I'm going to get one of SSFG's or hit up Mike for one of the two downstems he offered me.

I had another meeting with the postman today
Rainbow Showerhead A/C, and honeycomb A/C (both 18mm at both joints)

The Honeycomb:

I counted 83 points of diffusion (then 94, so its somewhere around there )

The Rainbow Showerhead

Sadly the showerhead has some hairline cracks in the can, so I'm gonna see if I can get a replacement.

The cracks are extremely small (I can't feel them on the outside of the piece, and they disappear under the right light) and don't seem to affect the functionality of the A/C just yet.
(But TBH, I'd have been happy to pay what I paid for both of them just for the Honeycomb, so I'm still happy either way )

That last picture, is @#$%ing ugly. You can't see that all the time? Yikes!

I was looking at my HVY downstem and I noticed what, at first I thought was a scratch. Cute as a bug, little downstem to, with its tiny sandblasted HVY emblem. Water, some RezBlock... quickly discover how much I really like it w/o an AC. I wanted to see if my SSFG DS would fit and that's when I discovered the "scratch" was now a crack that extended completely around the DS. Luckily, this all happened, in about 30-45 minutes, so I called the LHS up. Guy told me to bring it in Thursday (when the manager is there), to see about an exchange. Though, I'm not really one to go for "no", so we'll see how that goes. I don't go for the "its glass, its breaks" horse@#$%. I know when something is my fault and when its not and have copped to everything (which is a lot), I've broken. Thick little sucker to. Don't know how you crack a 1 1/2" thick boro DS.

Can't figure out why I like this little tube so much, though. Thing rips! (well, that's a good reason to like it). Just funny, how a little sub-$70 straight tube, little diffusion, is such a big hitter and fun to use. Your little Ehle smoke that nice, Frederick?

This helps ease the pain of the cracked DS (well... this, new meds, and new parts from OGB tomorrow). Turns out, I got a pretty decent deal at $66 for the little HVY.

$80 online.

Looks like you got a good deal on the HVY BDV.

The simpler pieces are nice to hit, I love my EHLE tubes, and my SYN mini beaker, but I prefer bubs with crazy levels of diffusion, so I don't use them too often.

Update on the rainbow ac, I picked it up from aliexpress along with the honeycomb ac as part of a "sample" order.
I asked if I could get a replacement, and they said since it was a sample, they would include the replacement with my first full order.
I'll probably just use it anyways, I only paid $10 + shipping for each of them

Frederick McGuire,
BDV I have that same HVY in clear 5mm. Are you using it for vapor? I haven't gotten any really amazing vapor hits from mine, at least not as good as the LevFC. But for $40, I guess I shouldn't complain and its a perfectly serviceable combustion piece with an a/c and CF.

I've never used the included down stem. Its very small and kind of cute, but my SSFG gridded down stem is a perfect fit and percs real nice in the straight tube.

I have a small chip near the GonG on the ring of glass around it. It seems to be prone to chiping in that area, as Tstat and a few others had blemishes in and around the same spot. I'm sure your already aware as a MIO owner.

Is GonG perfectly angled? Mine slants ever so slightly to the left.
