Great find. If you follow the links on the page you linked to, it turns out that gotvape has quite an eclectic collection of gen 1 TET stuff available.

I would call them first. I tried ordering one a few months back and they said it was back ordered. I laughed and said when do they expect them, because the manufacturer is no longer making them. That was months ago! Shady ass company!

That sounds like them. Why tell the customer the truth when there's more profit in a little deception?

I've waited longer and paid more to avoid them.....and felt good about it afterwards. Reward the vendors and makers that threat us well and with respect, there are plenty of good ones out there, they need and deserve our support. They support us after all.

They haven't had any DART versions for quite some time. We bought the LV Revolution version from them after trying to order the DART. Gotvape has been aware of that fact for many months without fixing the listing and canceling orders can be something of an ordeal.

BTW the Revolution version came with an adapter to use the Rev on an Omicron (601 - 510).

Obviously the intervening posts weren't read before the post above was made. Gotvape is certainly not the most reputable of companies.

I got my second ultra in from that ecig website, it's got all the engravings but the metal feels lighter and it has a slightly different shade of silver finish to it than the one sent to me directly from TET. It works though... :D

Cool. Don't put too much stock in color of the nickle plating, it tends to 'age' some over time and often runs of it differ since the chemicals in the tanks change over time as well.

Working is good, however. Not to worry, if it's legit Tim will make it sing somehow. Congrats, glad you got it while the getting was good as the saying goes.

ditto. glad to get one as well. works great. even got a manual, lol.
Mine should be here tomorrow! I did receive my new aw imr batteries. Lighthound definitely is a good source. The batteries were mailed the same day I purchased them.

I have been tempted to shoot TET an email in regards to buying just a ceo core. I wanted to wait until they were catching up on assembly and shipping. Willing to bet it might be a little hectic over there recently.

You'll need their adapter to go 510 to the "Cera threading" but it should work. OF posted that welded Frankenstein of an adapter thing that paired his Ultra with it and he said it was good to go.

I mean, sure it'll look funny, but it won't be so funny once you're too baked to use it (or maybe it will become funnier?) ;)

I am actually about half way through making my own style adapter. I am just waiting on a metric die to cut the 510 threading. Also waiting on the ptfe insulator tubing for center post of adapter. Hoping to have a few samples for testing this weekend or early next week. Only thing, I need a ceo core to test my adapter before sending some out.

I was planning on making a heat sleeve for the ultra power supply. I wanted something custom for heat protection.
We build injection molding dies where I work. If needed I could use our 5 axis cnc. Anything is possible as far as I am concerned.

Once I get an adapter made I probably will have to send it out to OF. Since he is the only person with a ceo core.

Please keep us posted on the 510-Cera adapter and the Ultra heat sleeve. Even the DART can heat up the IMR 14500s in the Ultra pretty quickly.

I don't know what happened... I was just about to post about how my Ultra + DART has become my new favourite unit when it stopped vaping

I gave it an ISO soak for a few hours and let it dry. I've not been able to get it to vape anything so far. I've probably flooded it now, but I followed the same technique that's been working since day one. I've ISO/boiled it many times before with no negative results.

The coil still heats up, I can see it with the DART tip removed. I've tried three different batteries - two AW IMR and one AW IC.

Stumped.
