ive got some time today, maybe ill do my video review? :) ill be at swagger but ill have some downtime, i might do it up there, ive got a little more time under this thing and im liking it

I've had the VB 2.0 for about a week now, using it daily to put it through its paces.

This thing absolutely rocks. I see the VB 2.0 easily being my daily driver because it addresses many of the things I've been looking for in a portable flower vape.
  • nice load size (not too small, not too big for how much I prefer to load in a sesh)
  • excellent flavor
  • good battery life
  • quick charge time
  • temp control
  • pass-through capability
  • very few device issues
  • easy to use (little to no learning curve)
  • easy to clean
  • easy to stir load (the stir tool is genius)
  • easy on the eyes
Many other members have already said this, but I think it's worth reiterating- the VB 2.0 feels great in the hand. It weighs about the same as the solo; in other words, it has substance to it. The ergonomic design makes the VB 2.0 feel absolutely natural in your hand (kinda like a bottle of beer :brow:).

I think that the stand is pretty darn cool. One detail on the stand reveals a lot about the thought that went into the design- the little peg at the back that holds the mouthpiece. The designers really put themselves in the user's shoes. Since you need to remove the mouthpiece in order to place the device on the stand, you need somewhere to put the mp. Otherwise, it can easily be misplaced; kiss that mp good-bye. So where to put it? On the stand, of course. Brilliant.

The fact that I can also vape waxes with it is ridiculously amazing. However, I'm not sure if I'm using the attachment properly. By that, I mean that I found a technique that works for me, but I'm wondering if there are better ones out there.

I followed the advice on the video and warmed it up before trying to insert the glass mouthpiece. The bummer part is that the sleeve ended up getting warm enough to get distorted when I tried to push down the mp.

vb20eotankring.jpg

My impression was that it was originally designed to be used two-handed, so I figured I could just hold the mp in place. Here's my current technique:
  1. crank it up to 5
  2. once it's properly warmed up, I drop a small dab (0.1 g or less) into bowl
  3. when the dab hits the floor of the bowl, it begins to vaporize almost instantly
  4. put glass mp in place
  5. use long, slow draw
  6. smile :D
The reason that I use such a small amount is that, if I use any more, a lot of vapor goes to waste. I try to load the bowl with just enough that I can take in one long breath. Otherwise, anything that's left continues to cook and precious vapor floats away.

How have you guys been using the eo attachment?

I currently don't have any of the wt's but, given how much the VB 2.0 has impressed me, I think I'll eventually get one.

There are a couple of areas I found the VB 2.0 to be lacking, but they are far from deal-breakers for me. For one, I wish it was more compact and, consequently, more stealth. However, seeing the dramatic size reduction from the first VB to the 2.0, I'm confident that the folks at VB are already on it.

One other small issue I've had is with the button; sometimes it doesn't immediately turn on when I press it. If that happens, I give it a quick double-click and it turns on, so no big deal.

But the most important question is, "Does it medicate?" I can confidently say yes, yes it does. :smug: Although it doesn't produce billowy clouds (at least not how I use it), the evenly browned abv and pleasant head change show that extraction is taking place. I think that, like with the mflb, the thin vapor is easily absorbed by the lungs and less visible vapor is exhaled.

Unlike the mflb, the heating element stays warm when I stop hitting it and the load continues to cook, so some vapor is wasted in that respect.

One other anecdote- I had a friend get super stoned after only a single hit. Granted, he doesn't consume mj very often and I had loaded it with a delicious blend of Blue Cheese and kief, but still, you have to admit that getting baked off of one hit is an awesome thing.

With the VB 2.0 and Palm 2.0 (I desperately want one), the vaporblunt folks have really stepped up their game. I look forward to what else they have in the works. :science:

What Sticks Wrote (My posting went a bick strange) - Good luck with that. I wouldn't expect a company to refund any purchase of mine for that reason.

Same here stick's.

You can't buy a product, use it and then decide you need the cash for something else and expect them to accept the return...???

I think sometimes that's realistic. There are 'no questions asked' and 'customer satisfaction guaranteed' warranties out there, but they are the exception and need to be spelled out in advance as such IMO.

In other cases (like this one?) this is problematic in that such goods cannot be resold (except as 'demo', 'refurb, 'used' and so on) which means a loss to someone else. In the case of 'satisfaction guaranteed' deals this is factored into the retail price structure. All of us who keep our products end up paying for those who don't.

Very nice review, I am glad to hear you are enjoying the art. I am thinking about posting a pic of the new prototype, but my advisors are yelling at me. They think I should slow down and let the 2.0 shine alone, I just don't see the fun in that. Besides, the "U3V" is not even close to the same. I think I'll post some pics, I mean....... It's just pictures right?

@TheRealVB - where physically is the temperature measured? How does that relate to the temp of the herb itself?

You put this ahead of the cloud as your daily driver?

1st proto, production units coming in March. This bad boy heats up in 45 seconds, and has two temperatures of 355 & 380 degrees. The downside of this vs the 2.0 is that it does flowers only, and lacks the power of the VB2.0. Battery life is approximately 40 minutes. These details could all change.

If you want to start a thread in Candidates, I will move these posts into it, otherwise the topic here is the VB2.0 and this sneak peek will have to do. ;)

For the time being, yes, I'll be using the VB 2.0 on a more daily basis than my cloud.

This is mainly due to the portability of the vb. I medicate frequently when I'm not home, so it suits a lot of situations for me- taking a walk, hanging out with friends, driving around, etc. In terms of home use, it's probably 50/50. I'm gonna go to the cloud when I need high dosages, the vb when I'm trying to conserve my supply or when I only need a few hits.

I don't see myself retiring the cloud anytime in the near future, but I think the vb will be getting much more playing time because it's gonna be with me almost everywhere I go.

Does anyone have videos of this unit tin action?
And I was wondering how everyone's glass tube is fitting on the unit as well is it difficult to attach, does it line up? Is the material ie plastic of the unit cheap, solid, seems are tight and lined up
I'm curious cause I want a back up in case my cloud and pax have some kind of issue in the future. Knock on wood.
Also my cera is taking a long time to get here and impatient and need some reliable back ups for the future.
I have a urge to collect vapes and I'm at the moment ridding myself of old vapes I don't use like the atmos, gpen, extreme q, vapor genie, mflb,

At the present time I use my vape xhale cloud, pax, solo, soon the cera.
I'd like to add a versatile piece like the vaporblunt 2.0 and also the new davinci ascend

Hey I checked out the video I'm wondering its gonna be sold here in the city where I live Friday I have a cera coming next week I just baught a pax I sold my plenty, and shelved my extreme q which I hate, but have a solo, pax, VXH cloud. Compared to the solo and pax being portable does this vaporblunt even compare in the sense of performance vapor production I kow clouds aren't your thing but medicating is and I know visible vapor is not exactly the tall tail sign of a good vaporizer soi was wondering in comparison to the pax and the solo which one produces the same type of vapor thickness density.

As you already have a Pax and Solo (and have a Cera on the way), I don't think the VB 2.0 is going to fill any niche that you don't already have covered. ;) It works fine, but looks to me like you already have your portable bases covered.

Ya well that's a fair assessment I'm kind of a vaporizer junky I'm allways looking for the next best thing but I was thinking as a stand alone and a portable oil and herb with a base, I thought if my cloud died it would be a good substitute ? But if you say it not worth it compared to thrones I allready have and am acquiring I'm hesitant to purchase one.
It sure looks interesting.

What's a few hundred bucks to join the family? Haha. I am positive that you are not going to stop purchasing vapes, so eventually I'll invent something that will lure you in!
