Looking for a second Vape to use concentrates

Hi all,
my first Vape is the MFLB. I'm ok with that but it doesn't do pure concentrates.
I live in Europe so:
-I'd like to buy from shops located in Europe. As of now I know only http://www.vaposhop.com/ and http://www.lacentralevapeur.com/
There is also EDIT as a shop but everything there seems to be overpriced or sold out.
-I'd like to buy a product that can vape Maroc/Asian "concentrates" other than pure oils and proper concentrates (this is not essential ).
The better choices that I think I have looking at those shops are:
-an oil rig/dome/skillet but I don't see any glass blower here in Europe who sells these things AFAIK
-Arizer Solo
-UD
-LSV
-a pen vape (which one? People talk a lot about G Pen but do they sell those in EU? Omicron? On the french shop I mentioned there's a V2.0 but I think there's also a 2.5! And I like to have the last model if I buy something :D
I read that the Solo is quite good but I think to prefer a home unit (if better). If I have to buy a portable I'd prefer a pen, or a good home unit. I accept any other suggestion anyway.
Thanks in advance :)

Just so you know, an oil rig like a dome or skillet will not vaporize Marrocan or Afghan or those types of hashes. They generally only vaporize chemically refined concentrates that will melt.
For traditional hashes like pollens and soft blacks I find my DaBuddha cannot be beat. The solo isn't very good at it, you get vapor but never anywhere near as much extraction as from the DBV, the vapor is nowhere near as thick either. I'm sure the LSV works similarly to the DBV but I've never used one.
Pen vapes will also not be able to do Maroc/Asian hashes, just purer concentrates.
Log vapes like UD will do it but I think you'd be better off with a 7th Floor vaporizer like the SSV, DBV or LSV, I find they pack more punch.

Treeman, whats your technique vaping hash in your da buddah? What types of hash have worked best for you?

I've used everything from soft black hashes, kashmir twist to crumbly pollens through to those really dense pollens that you need to heat up to crumble to kief to waxes.
Any traditional hashes I just break them up stick them in and go, I used to mix them with herb but you don't have to, just try and scrape the screen every so often because they can block airflow once they get warm.
Concentrates I've always mixed with either herb or ABV. Recently I've had some old school Morrocan that is very dense and you have to warm it with a lighter before you can crumble it, I love loading up a bowl of straight hash and getting fat hits with that hashy flavour. I usually raise the temperature a little bit but really not much.

treeman, this is precisely my experience with whatever the hard brown hash I sometimes access. I've, until recently, only done it 1 way: loading up a bowl straight. In my standard SSV whip, I'd say about 2/3 of a gram / load, but that's without the benefit of measuring or a good memory ; ) . Generally, I'd just toss it in there and be off. (Didn't matter a whole bunch whether I broke it up prior).

Over the first several or more hits the hash is warming up, breaking up and down, and settling into the bowl - while giving off such delightful flavours and a slighter vapour. Then at a certain point, it really just catches and bam, fantastic hits with that hashy flavour. And it just keeps going and going - easily putting out vapour and requiring little maintenance. The hash goes through various fun and intoxicating transformations, before finally thinning down and ending up small, dry grains (or if you re-grind toward the end, then ending up dry, fine, grain - nearly powder). This is easily emptied and cleaned from the bowl.

I recently tried a herb-hash sandwich as some enjoy, but as I suspected it was unsatisfying as the herb ABV-ed out looong before the hash. The hash doesn't seem to go as far this way too. Nope. For the brown stuff (?) I get, it's so fun straight in the SSV bowl. In fact, in my short experience vape-ing, I'd rate that #1. After the short initial warm-up, it just so effortlessly puts out vapour. justcametomind mentioned the LSV and that would be my preferred 7th Floor option (yes to losing the whip).

It has only 1 gotcha - it's too big a bowl (for me). With a hash filled SSV bowl, I'm looking at so many sessions. I eventually swap out the bowl for herb just for the switch-up. (I should really have a second whip). I think I'd prefer the full vaped experience of the product within a session or certainly within 2. This is one of the reasons I was looking forward to switching to a log (the HI). I rarely go through my SSV bowl of flowers in a single session, let alone throwing concentrates into the mix. You might consider something I wanted to try which is to make your bowl smaller. There is the Vaporbrothers mini whip option or mods with silicon tubing within the bowl. Anyway, bowl size can be an important consideration with vaporizers and I would think more so with the use of concentrates.
Log vapes like UD will do it but I think you'd be better off with a 7th Floor vaporizer like the SSV, DBV or LSV, I find they pack more punch.
Again, I can attest to my SSV easily handling the hard brown type hashes. Myself though, I'll pop over to the HI or UD thread to seek out posts that make me feel better about logs+brown. (I'm biased as I wanna log!)

I think I'll get a 7th Floor Vape..
O a Plenty?? Someone says it's good (TheBestVaporizer on youtube) and that you can use it with less material using the concentrate pad. Here people says it lose some flavor like this.
The only thing I decided so far is I think I'll shop at http://www.lacentralevapeur.com/ They sell the LSV for 240€, SSV 239/219€ and the Plenty for 205€. DBV is sold out bud was 179€ The average price for a Plenty was 250€ so far and they are the only people in EU to stock the LSB..
I think I prefer the LSV because it has no whip and it's newer. But I'm concerned with bowl form and the ability to vape hash/budder/concentrates.
Also, I think I read from Vitolo that you can use a SSV as an aromatherapy diffuser?? Maybe I'm wrong.
Thanks everyone for your responses.
And yes, thanks for any advice on reducing size because I'm not an avid vaper. I just want to quit combusting but I like hash :)

If you go for the LSV i think that website is the cheapest in Europe. For the DBV it is best to get it at Vaposhop although it is only a 10€ difference.

I would skip the Plenty.. i don't own one but it is weird, not very pratical to do anything else but dry vaping and it is quite limited temp wise. I don't know about efficiency but i'm guessing that there will be a lot of deposit in that coiled tube and it wont be easy to clean. :2c:

If you go for a log vape, there is a EU maker, the wychwood vaporizers. These can be used with a cup for aromatherapy.

The DBV and SSV as well but they need a glass dish to put on top of it. I would choose the LSV over these because of the whip since the taste is somewhat noticeable by the end of the bowl and there is also some loss of actives due to the long whip.. otoh it helps to filter some particles and cool the air, so it is easier on the throat and due to its format they are easier to have on a table.

When you mean hash, what do you mean exactly? If it is that black oily moroccan type, or charas type.. it is one thing. If it is that crumbly light brown hash it is another. And there is also that hard dry brick you find on the streets.

I ask this because if you use it only with high quality maleable hash, and budder/concentrates.. you'd be better served with a Thermovape Cera Essential Oil.

In essence, if you don't plan on vaping herb and just oily hashes.. just get the Cera.

I'm ok with herbs since I have a MFLB.
Yes I'm talking about quality resins, unpressed pollen, but I know what you are talking about :)
No I'm not looking forward to vape soapbars :D
I read a lot about Cera, but it's quite expensive and I didn't understand which version to buy.
Buying a concentrate version, I wouldn't be able to use it with herbs? Can you buy the apparatus and then switch "carts" for concentrates/herbs? I read an OF user post on Cera's thread saying it was good vaping bubble hash on the herb version.
I often have access to budder/oils but didn't want to combust if I sometimes have something more old school.

Well, the Cera has three carts. The 250$ price tag is just with one of them, at your choice ( essential oils, flowers or e-juice).. the flower cart can be used with some types of hash but with a bed of herbs. The problem is that with concentrates, it will problably go through the screens and into the heater.

So in my opinion, you should get an essential oil cera. IF you want something cheaper, maybe try the older models of thermovape, the revolution. But it is not as good from what i read.

You have to understand that you want to vaporize very different kinds of cannabis products.. resin and flowers. Some resins can be used in flower vaporizers but not all of them.

And the Cera will last you a lifetime.. so the price is cheaper compared to many other vaporizers if you take that into acount. On the other hand, you will problably find that in a couple of years something better will come along.. or not. IMO, just do your best choice now and let the chips fall.

Or get an LSV and use a ceramic pad for concentrates, that way you can vape both at your choosing. There is somehting called a health stone i think, that is exactly what you need to use.

In the process of acquiring informations about a second vape to use concentrates, I happened to buy a miniVAP instead and I'm completely blown out by it. It's just that I still would like to have something really portable and pen styled.
I'd get an Ophos just because they even advice on THC site to buy that instead of their best model, Persei, if it's your first experience with that kind of vape (and it is for me, I never had any pen style, battery-powered vape, or anything capable of vaping concentrates). But I know myself and if THC products will be as good as you say I'll find myself buying the entire collection instead of going for the most expensive at first.
The only thing I don't like about a Persei is that it seems to large to fit into trousers pocket, and I could risk to damage the mouthpiece if I sit on it for example :D Is it that big?

I have a MFLB and I love it. I also bought the AC power adapter for it. Which makes it a great in home vape. But, it's still just a MFLB. Great for on the go. But, not so good for high volume vaping. I found a Etreme Q for 80 bucks and I am so glad I bought it. I can run balloons or just use the whip. But, if I decide I want to vape concentrates (whether it's bubble hash, kief, or honeycomb, wax, oil) I can just put my concentrates into a 100% pure cotton ball. Roll it up and put it into the bowl of my whip, I can vape all the concentrates I want.

I also have a TI nail, and a glass nail to use with my bong. I do like to dab using the hot nail. And/or using a skillet. But, it's not as hard on the lungs to vape it. It doesn't coat you lungs so much with the oil smoke. Hash and kief work really well on the TI nail or skillet. But, it does leave behind some residue and build up ...since it's not full melt. That is no big deal though. It burns off the next time you heat up the nail. Or, you can just scrape it off with your dabbing tool.

Hope that helps.

Thanks but I already have a MFLB. I'm just trying to decide which pen vape to get (Ophos, Omicron or Persei or other) to vape concentrates.

I still didn't try with proper concentrates because I have only one liquid pad! And I want to preserve it from becoming all sticky and messy because it's also my "bowl reducer" for herbs. :)
With kief it was good. I got the effect and the material got pretty dark :)

I live in IL and have never seen concentrates. But Im still curious as to peoples experiences using the minivap for concentrates...I need a better dealer:\

well u can make some crazy good oil from mediocre hash =p. just use a winterizing setup the extract.

this may help b/c imho oil is more conducive to vaping and traditional hash is more conducive to combustion. im not saying they are mutually exclusive, they just seem to work better in these diffrent applications
