I could give up my pax.... not ready to give up the Inhalater.
...but more important, and back on thread topic here.. I would definitely not consider giving up the NO2!

I was a 50 year combuster that switched to full time vapor using the NO2, as my 1st portable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Vapir NO2 to any patient looking for a medical tool, and not a recreational one....I would give up a number of my vapes, but not the NO2~

Cheers! I feel the same way!!!!!!! As I have said in my previous posts, the N02 was my first vap after 10+ years burnin' it. I am happy with the quality of medication delivered with this tool. After two years of usage I have found a such sweet spot with it, I couldn't imagine letting it go.

I like to clean it while reciting Full Metal Jacket's Private Pile's, "This my vaporizor, there are many like it, but this one is mine!"

Hey, just wanted to ask, is it posible to power the NO2 with a portable auto Battery jumper unit ? I have the 12 volt PA the jumper has an outlet, just don't wanna risk any damage, if any, in order to find out. Thanx

I am not an electrical engineer at all! That being said I understand the concepts of watts, ohms, voltage, and resistance. As long as you are meeting the units posted on the proprietary power supply, a makeshift or generic power supply should work. But I caution you, using a power supply other than what Vapir advises will void the warranty.

I have the Vapir 12 volt car adaptor, really guess what i'm asking is will the battery jumper which has a 12 volt outlet [like an auto cigg. lighter] work as a power source. as opposed to my car.

Oh, hahaha I misunderstood. Yes that will work; but there is concern for the rapid charge that a 12v outlet w/ car charger gives to the N02 battery. It's possible that it will wear out the battery more quickly than using the standard wall outlet charger.

Thanx Much ! At times I might have to use my NO2 and charge it this way, no A.C. outlets on the patio where I do most of my Living this could help a whole lot

The No2 a great vaporizer, I no longer use my no2 due to the fact that the airflow is completely unrestricted I Prefer a slight restricted airflow.

When I first purchased the No2 it was perfect! Thick cloud, slightly restricted airflow... the whole nine yards!!

When I had to sent the device in for repairs( you could read about that little hiccup a few pages back) they sent me a newer No2 in return which I'm currently unhappy with :( .... Since I purchased the Solo to replace the NO2, the NO2 is now being used as paper weight.

Just to make sure it wasn't just me, I lent out the NO2 and the solo to a friend of mines her first time using a vaporizer. I told her how to use each one, she tried the Solo first, followed by the NO2 the next day.

End result.

She gave the NO2 back to me and told me "its to lite, I don't notice anything"

And she bought herself a solo!!!

My girl and I used the NO2 before and after receiving the newer unit and she even stated that it don't hit like it use to.

If you like a slight restricted airflow look else were.

I have 2 NO2 units, and have maintained 17 units for patients in the community.
1-None have the airflow you speak of, and all came from Puffitup, Vapeworld or Vapir directly.
2-You should let them know about the issue, and they will I am sure replace this new unit.

Contact them soon and get the unit replaced.
It is under warranty.
If you did not register the warranty, but still have the receipt from an "Authorized" Vapir Distributor, they will still replace the unit.
If you did not get it from an Authorized dealer....that is a different case.

I purchased the unit from an authorizer dealer and its still under warranty.

With that being said about the airflow, I will contact them and request an exchange.

A few recent post lead me to believe that the newer model NO2 airflow is unrestricted.

Not at all.
I wish I could look at your unit.
Could the screen at top be attached inadequately?
Could the screens twist/lock mechanism be incompletely attached?
Refer the dealer politely to the posts here.
also add politely that you are a big NO2 fan, and that the unit you just got does not live up to what you know and love...
Then there is always Vapir if the dealer does not do you right.

I just did a sesh with the no2 using the old cap from the old unit I had to send back, same result. I'm going to contact vapir first to see if anything change on there end. Before contacting my authorize dealer... GotVape

look down in the oven....
is the screen in place well?
The excess airflow seems to come from the ovens inlets.
We will all watch to see how this goes for you.

I had to get up and check it out and there a screen there, sitting nice and snug. Just throwing this out there I packed the unit tight with herb this sesh.

airflow seemed completely unrestricted in the unit I bought too. I know mine was a newer one. I thought this was how the unit was designed.

the airflow was too much for me(which surprised me!). I did get nice, thick clouds, which also surprised me! Maybe not as potent as I hoped-- perhaps because not as concentrated (too much air mixed with vapor, idk).

One thing I didn't mention about this unit that I feel I should is that I never at one point felt worried about breaking it. Although it was brand new, I didn't hesitate to take it out of the house. It just seems really durable. Probably a pro to those considering their first.

I just opened a brand new unit, from a box obtained yesterday.
This unit was shipped from Vapir directly this week.
The airflow is identical to my original NO2 bought almost 3 years ago.. and the same as those I have serviced in the community.
Now a lucky patient in my area will get this unit at a great discount!

what type of airflow are you experiencing ?

Same as with the other NO2 units I try.
The airflow with an empty NO2, is very close to the airflow on an empty Iolite.
I hope this comparison helps.

Compare it to the solo or Da Vinci please
HI BeEasy, I have a new NO2, to me it's a more restrictive draw then the DV[which is kinda like just suckin' air thru a staw, and thats with the DV packed with herb]. I have more resistence just pulling thru the NO2 empty, I do really pack herb in more then the little scoop also I use a very fine grind, just this side of kief. HOW YOU DISCRIBE YOUR NO2 HITS GOES FOR MY DV, JUST LIKE BREATHING GOOD TASTING AIR ,BUT IT DOES MEDICATE VERY WELL [didn't mean to Yell] right now my DV is on the fritz,it won't medicate at all. BeEasy hope you can soon say yor new NO2 is your all time fave , I Know what your going through, I have one WISPR thats a dream [Quiet, perfect heat ect..] bought a backup
very very loud ROAR i mean you can hear it outside from 80 feet loud, and lower temp ie: light blonde ABV. If my first unit was like the second I'd Never use or love the WISPR!! Best of Luck !

The Solo stem empty ... inserted into unit is twice as restrictive as the NO2.
I do not have a DaVinci here

.... I Know what your going through, I have one WISPR thats a dream [Quiet, perfect heat ect..] bought a backup

I have two classic Iolites. One silent, and one that is "souped up". They do vary.

About the restrictive draw and the NO2 now...
I have theories. Perhaps the top screen and the air path on the top piece of your unit gradually built up some particulates, and some resins where you did not totally dismantle and "refresh"... And you never noticed the gradually compiling restrictive nature... that is until you had a totally clean fresh unit.
OR... perhaps there was always some impediment to the flow in your original for some reason, and that was what you learned to use the NO2 with... so it became your fave.
Of these two theories, the first makes most sense to me.
STILL.... you are pursuing the recourse that is available, and resolution may be forthcoming~
