First time I noticed it too. Perhaps when they released the colour LSVs.

Glad to hear you're being taken care of.

Yep

+1000 to 7th Floor, their support is awesome, not only they will take it but they will give me a 220v version...that is simply incredible...

The bag is also great! and the glass works are looking mighty well

7th floor got a new fan! :)

You leave the cap unscrewed and leave the wpa in the wp like this.

Nah, it doesn't stick well...if I screw the top back the WPA moves freely but its stable...I said before that I might actually prefer this way because I can tilt the HT a little bit which makes it easier to take hits... :)

Hey I just had my first hands-on a 7th floor vape ! My friend just bought it. After some adjustments I finally had a great full session with the gong hooked on my new bubbler. I just wanted to share my first impression. The first hit has excellent aroma and we had great clouds. We almost combusted but we escaped from it. The high is fast hitting.

I just give one of my bongs to my friend so he can use it in many ways. I will ask him how he likes it and report here.

The ceramic tip on my LSV had crept back down a bit, I had noticed that lately I had to turn up the dial a bit more than usual. I pulled it back out to just about where the first 0 shows and it hits better than ever.

I set it at around 12:30-1 and I am getting much more flavorful vapor for a longer period of time. The LSV had great flavor before but that small adjustment allows me to get thicker vapor at a lower setting that lasts and lasts. I just tried this Dutch Crunch from my favorite dispensary and the taste is unreal http://northstarholisticcollective.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/photo-11.jpg.

Love the LSV.

Glad to read that Roger !
Hope you'll get to like the LSV. For me it's really one of my Fav vape to use while at home.
I also combusted twice at the very beginning, but once you know the vape it never happens.

So...how about a docking station for the LSV????

Here is an horrible diagram by me.... do you understand where I'm going? a rectangle with to arms to catch the lsv (the LSV would be on top of the picture)

I've been thinking about one of these for a back-up to my vxl, instead of another $450+ cloud. I've read enough of the thread to know its a solid unit, and vapor production isn't an issue. A lhs near by has them for $200 plus u get $50 in-store for another visit, and could probably talk them down to the 7th floor sale price(they sell damn near everything below MAP,Persei is $89 for instance).
My question to you all is: Should I be leary if its an older model? Has much changed with the unit over the years?
I may see if they'll keep all the stuff that comes with it, and give it even cheaper, because all I want is a WPA(no bags, no wands and such). I should have my cloud back late week(warranty...), but hell I need a phat water conditioned rip, and my portables just can't wack it(oh and I'm starting to HATE errl).
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

The LHS didn't have a WPA so I held off, hell they didn't even have the wand that goes with it. She told me its not very good, and I'd be happier with an EQ... I politely said no thanks.
Was just looking for some instant gratification, but an LSV will stay up there on my short list for a back-up unit along with a log, or another cloud. Happy Vaping folks!

I've only had the opportunity to use the LSV twice since purchasing it. I did have a couple of questions though:
  • I'm curious as to whether or not the carry case can be washed or not? Hemp is easy enough to wash as I know from having various hemp clothes which have lasted me many years (needle and thread helps to keep them going) :) However I'm not sure whether the interior is safe in the washing machine etc.
  • I think that the internal screen (not the one in the wand) which leads to the heating element wasn't fitted properly and/or the poker displaced it. Should it be easy to reposition? At the moment, I think some bud is falling through it towards the element. If anyone has a link to a tutorial (video/pics etc) or instructions I'd really appreciate it. The info in the manual about replacing the screen wasn't really helpful. I'll also search on this thread and elsewhere and update if I find a good online resource.
I'm withholding any real opinion since I only used it twice so far (just 3-4 quick hits each time) and the last session with it was over a week ago. I think I need several sessions under my belt before I'm medicating in a way which is optimal for my needs. The fact that I've infrequently made use of exo-cannabinoids over the last year is going to significantly increase my learning curve

For any other medicators:
I've recently discovered White Willow Bark (400mg tablets) and have found it to be a good supplement in my pain relief regime. The latter includes physio and the use of other legal OTC ethnobotanicals including ones with anti-inflammatory properties. I'm not as disciplined about doing physiotherapy before and after work like I was advised. However on the odd day I do manage it, there's a significant positive difference.

If anyone has any legal OTC ethnobotanicals which have significantly helped with pain or ideally treating the root cause, I'd welcome information - PM or posted on here.

Cheers

a cheap sword stand would probably work. you could hang it on your wall or put it on a desk

Just thought I'd post this video of the LSV paired with my custom Contrabasso recycler. Been using the LSV for 10 months and almost everyday now. As always, hats off to the 7th Floor.

On a related note, I just got a shipment of replacement screens for the WPA, I'm set for life!

Why would I have a sword? or a stand to a sword ? lol where do u shop ? :p

If you're a martial artist, you'd have a sword, i.e. like me!

If I had a stand, I wouldn't put my LSV in it though since I won't have anywhere for my sword! On the otherhand, I don't have a sword stand since I prefer to keep my sword in the cupboard (don't want to risk my younger siblings hurting themselves with it) and only take it out during training.

However some people, like my cousin, purchase sword sets just for displaying to people. Therefore for many people owning a sword goes hand in hand with having a sword stand.

Well in my country, I can't really see any sword lol but still...the LSV would benefit from this...solves the coffee table issue :)

I ordered my LSV on sunday, still haven't received a shipping confirmation, can anyone reflect on their experiences with 7th floor before? How long does it usually take them to get it sent off?

Well in most countries you're not allowed to take a sword outside of the house/training centre/martial arts club etc. So you probably won't see one unless you know people who are into kendo etc. However I'm sure there are some around since martial arts has fans/practitioners in pretty much every place you can reasonably think of.

You're right though, a stand would be great. Or even a couple of large hooks in the wall/door which could safely hold it?

Failing to find a stand, would putting it on a towel on the coffee table be safe? I'm worried that the heat could damage whatever lacquer/finishing is applied to the coffee table. On the other-hand, I don't want to risk a fire. Having said that, I'm fairly certain that the outside of the LSV would never get hot enough to set fire to a towel - just thought I'd check...

Edit: The dock/swordstand idea(s) from m0sh/itchmynipple is(are) actually good idea. The only problem I can see is that the diameter of many swordstands might be too small to allow the LSV to comfortable slot into the semi circles which hold the sword/LSV. Maybe something which is meant to display staff-type weaponry might work? Although even then, the LSV is thicker than any staff I've ever trained with or seen in a martial arts movie/show.

Going to check out some saber stands at my local MA supplies shop tomorrow as stickstones suggested. Assuming they even sell it. Sounds more like something which a star wars memorabilia site will stock :D
