Comparison of different vape brands according to search frequency - Google Trends.

Google Trends is an interesting feature that allows you to see graphs showing how often particular terms are searched for over time. Absolute figures aren't provided - rather, values are expressed as a percentage of the maximum. But up to five terms (or combinations of terms) can be compared with each other.

Here's one I did for some popular portable vapes:

http://www.google.com.au/trends/exp...flb" + "magic flight"&date=10/2009 40m&cmpt=q

And here's a screencap of it, at the time of writing:

And here's one for some popular plug-ins:

http://www.google.com.au/trends/explore#q="da buddha" + "silver surfer vaporizer" + "silver surfer vape" + "life saber vape" + "life saber vaporiser", "arizer extreme" + "extreme vape" + "extreme vaporizer" + "extreme q", "herbalaire, vapexhale, volcano vaporizer&date=11/2006 75m&cmpt=q

And the screen cap:

You can see which colours correspond to which terms by the list of search items on the left. I included various combinations of likely terms for each vape (eg "arizer extreme" + "extreme vaporiser" + "extreme vape" + "extreme q") to get a more accurate and comprehensive indication of popularity (simply searching for "extreme" isn't going to at all helpful, of course, but there's no ambiguity with "herbalaire"). And in the plug-in one, I combined terms for all of the 7th Floor vapes (DBV + SSV + LSV) into one grand total.

Seems like there might be a bit of a uptick of demand in the vaping market lately, though the Christmas seasonal rush would account for a lot of that.

Very interesting!!! Great thread, I would concur with the data you discovered; with states such as Colorado and Washington relaxing their war on weed, and with an increase in medical marijuana states has increase, I think it is only natural to see an increase in paraphernalia. Now, it is possible that the masses have become much more educated about the risks of combustion and are moving towards vaping full time.

Great post again!

Salutations Qbit,

I tried it but wasn't good at it, though i have some ideas what i'd like to test, such as vaporizers against gold, petroleum, wheat or bread, etc. You get the idea... My expectation is that this would shead some focus on price increases, no?

:peace:
