CERA, the wait & gibberish thread

This is the newest email I received from Thermovape.
Hi SMELLYcat,
One of the owners has recently spoken to our machinist. The update they gave us, was that the remaining stainless steel parts will be here the 9th and the Titanium parts will be here shortly after that. We've already finished much of the pre-assembly and are waiting on those parts to complete vaporizers.
I know there's been a lot of delay and missed dates, so I'm really hoping that the parts arrive by the 9th like promised so we can get these orders out to all of our loyal customers.
That is all the information I have at the moment. If you have any questions about this or want to change/cancel your order please don't hesitate to let me know.

I got that same email too a few days ago, sounds like well have them hopefully 2 weeks tops.
My impatient mind likes to think that just because parts are in on the 9th they should be shipping next day, but realistically they have to make a huge amount, get it all organized, prep to ship.
Considering we still haven't received our "confirmation" emails yet asking if we need to add or take away anything I'm sure it'll be a bit. I'm sure they know not everyone is going to respond to their emails instantly. So hopefully once those emails come in (assuming they still are) we should start to see our Ceras hopefully a week or so from that, at least for us U.S. folk (on the West Coast)
But TET can feel free and just surprise me with a Cera in my mailbox, I don't need to add anything
EDIT: For the record SMELLYcat, the only reason I suggested you move it here is because the other thread has been filled with waiting/shipping issues that rids the point of the thread in the 1st place, that's why this thread was made. The mods have warned people more than several times to keep It in this thread, or else people will start getting banned or the thread would be deleted. Considering you're new I'm sure you're fine, but anything not legitimately about the Cera itself should go in here.
But welcome to the wait. Everyone here is stoked it seems, I know I am. My suggestions: find something to kill some time.
I just bought the Extreme Q and a new oil rig bubbler they're fucking sick, and keep me distracted.

I spoke with TET Tuesday because I'll be moving on the 15th and wanted to sort out shipping addresses. I was told that I should receive my Cera before then, which would mean it would ship tomorrow at the latest. It seems like a prayer, but at the same time it's hard to imagine giving an incorrect shipping date just a few days prior to that date. I guess tomorrow will tell for sure.

Ahh i feel better now, I would be stoked to get this thing before the 19th(vacation) kinda feels like a pipe dream at the moment so I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Although if TET does come through i will be sure to get some videos of Cera in use out on the ski slopes, wonder how she will handle cold weather?

I'm in NY, but since preorders are all being upgraded to expedited shipping it won't make a difference. If my understanding is correct, then the original shipping method was priority mail which would lead me to believe that the expedited method of shipping is express mail which guarantees 2 day delivery and typically arrives next day. So to guarantee delivery in NY before Tuesday, it would have to ship tomorrow.

I can as well, but like green2brown said I think it's just for us Pre-Orders.
But they still have the Pre-Order stuff on their website, and IIRC TET said until its down Pre-Orders are still a go.
And I don't know when or if they plan to stop Pre-orders or take down the stuff on the site.

Well....... I cancelled my pre-order & asked for a refund (for now).
I'll def be getting one down the road from TET, but with all the conjecture and speculation on 'what' the product will actually be, I just couldn't take it any more and will wait for a mainstream device IN PRODUCTION & AVAILABLE FOR SALE/SHIPPING before diving in again.
I already feel much more at ease with regards to expectations and delays of release... so FOR "ME" it was a worthwhile decision to sit out the initial release while looking forward to an more 'informed' product purchase experience.

That's shitty that its come to this with several people. Sorry to hear that, I too am struggling with being able to "take it". But I think I'll wait just a bit more.

My only issue was because I'm in Canaduh, and any discrepancies or swap outs for products down the road when they become available isn't a light undertaking. That and the 'talk' of items I did order not being available (possibly at all) such as the on/off toggle safety, positive locking on switch, and the illuminated switch. Not to mention my main items were Ti.
Once the 'chit' gets ironed out, I'll decide if the product is truly what I want.... although... that damn EO production we saw in the vids is very hard to resist

I hear your pain!!! On the bottom of your posts it says something about some people needing to be 'hit with a hammer'- well I'm not trying to be funny, but I was certainly hit in the head with a 'hammer' today - AND HER NAME IS CERA EO!!!! The vids are the real deal!! No speculation. No 'hidden' fog generators. Not in my family room!! Only OF, CERA and myself. IMO this device will satisfy most everyone. I hate to 'gush', but I'm absolutely stunned. Shit, I think I've just talked myself into ordering an extra EO cart for PureGold. I need to hide the f'g credit card. In any event, whenever you get one it's going to be like the guy in the clothing commercial: You're going to love how you 'look', I guarantee it (IMO LOL). Peace.
