Yes, its obvious there have been significant design changes. Who knows... maybe VB's legal department got all over their asses? Mine is an exact, downscale copy of the Hydrator. Cuts... everything. I know they're not very fond of it. But, it gets them sales. I've talked people into getting the VB over the No Name... so I know it gets sales. If this one ever breaks, I'll probably buy the VB version. Love the build quality of my Mini Hydrator and they deserve the sale to.
The only difference, as noted... mine is like 3/4 scale.
The new ones, they've made even smaller and a completely redesign fixed downstem. I like the looks of the new one, prefer the size of the old one... function, is probably the same, with a piece that size. Still an excellent buy, if the build quality is the same.
Call it,
The Infamous $40 Vapor Brothers Hydrator No Name Knock-off v2.0 rev1a.
How long did you actually have the infamous?
Still have it, still use it. I dunno. Had it about a year now. Maybe little more, little less? Its just survived @#$%, all the other stuff I've bought in that time frame didn't. Yeah, I know there's "better deals", out there... but I can honestly say, I've gotten way more than $40 value out of this thing. Its been with me, thru every vape (except the VG) and performed well, with each piece. Nothing spectacular... but a nice solid little bubbler. I'd rather have the real deal VB, but I have a mini... so its a wash.
Because of the semi-sharp bends in the mouthpiece, I can put a relatively high water level, rip it as hard as I can (with the drag of a vape/adapter) and not get a drop on my lips.
Certainly exceeding my expectations
This is a big win!
Yep, one of the great things about the bubb. Don't think I've ever tasted water with it.
