Arizer Solo TMJ?

Hi everyone!

I've been having issues with my Solo for a week now (and issues medicating...). Actually it's not so much the solo's fault but my own. I find myself having to suck really hard on my Solo to get those thick clouds. It kinda really exacerbates my Jaw pains.

Any options? Any portables that don't have theses problems with hard draws?
Thanks a bunch

Have you looked into the PlanetVape High Efficiency Stems?

I've noticed a marked improvement in airflow since switching to these after market stems.

Yes!...with all highly-restricted draw vapes. Omicron, rockzap, supreme, all high-restriction.

Was having TMJ issues and now they're mostly gone with the Vapexhale. The drag there depends on how clean your bowl is, size of the load, and the glass piece. But it usually ranges from OK to perfect.

I think the Solo is a great vape to recommend. Especially at today's price point.
I also think the mention of its high drag, without the PV stems, should be made with any recommendation for it.

Yeah...glad to see I'm not the only one (I don't mean that I'm happy others are suffering though :p)
I'll be receiving my VHW soon so I can tough it out although I'm starting to think about trading it for something else portable without too much drag...

If you're using a screen then my best advice is to keep your screen as clean as possible.
It clogs much faster than people notice and reduces airflow drastically.
I torch my screen at least once a day and the difference before and after its been cleaned is surprising.

Wow so now I'm correlating my solo and tmj! Totally makes sense now since I haven't used a solo in months and my tmj issues have disappeared.

What does TMJ stand for?
Temporomandibular joint disorder

It is something that is often misdiagnosed. A dentist was the first one to suggest I had it, after I couldn't bite down in one area despite the tooth being fine.

I was suffering with it for a while but nowadays its mostly non-existent. Except for the fact that I can't keep my mouth open for very long, or open it too wide.

What really helped me was hitting the vaporbong with relaxed jaw muscles and using diaphragm power instead of focusing the pressure on my mouth.

Another tip you might have missed although mentioned periodically in the Solo thread is to pull the stem about 2-3mm. That way, the holes in the bowl are unrestricted, allowing for a better air flow. The Eds stems or the turbo PVHE stem seems to allow the least restriction.

Thanks Vorrange, I've seen a lot of Solo threads but never stumbled on that tip...
Works pretty freakin well hehe
That should pull me through until my VHW gets here (still stuck at customs, 5 open days so far)
Also haven't received the Kava I ordered for experimentation.
