Any kind of cooling system would really suffice for me, have any links for a good one that you know works with the NO2 out of the box or adapters/special fittings are needed?

Your NO2 tube fits snuggly in any 14mm downstem, then into your bong/bubbler.
I buy spare NO2 tubing... it comes in "double" lengths so each one gets cut to use for two times...
This makes it a convenient length for water use.
The Vapor Tamer requires that you use a small piece of SSV tubing to "graduate" your NO2 tube to the size of Vapor Tamer.
NO2 tube fits snuggly into SSV tube
NO2 tube fits into 14mm joint
SSV tube fits into 18mm joint
mix...match.. have fun!

I have had my NO2 for about 16 months now. Love it, I have the extreme Q as my daily driver but also use the NO2 about 10 times a week. What i have noticed is that it works so much better when i can heat up the unit plugged in and then unplug it and pass it around. My complaint would be that the battery life is awful. I will charge it up all night long, the battery life shows full bars but when i unplug it and try to heat it up off the battery power it instantly goes down to one bar. When unplugged it has a hard time holding a tempature of 185C if i used the battery to charge it. Now if i dont use the battery to charge it up but pass it around on battery power i seem to be fine. I purchased the car adaptor and that is a great feature for roadtrips. Does anyone else have this problem. Has the battery just worn out after months of use??

The battery seemed to start wearing after the 18th month on my first unit, and on my neighbors it started showing these signs after 20 months. I guess this is natural. I did not replace the battery, however, and the unit works fine.
On another note.. the battery lines all go down immediately when unit is turned on to heat. On this unit, the battery level indicator appears to be inaccurate on many of the units.
I use the car adapter...
I also use the technique of heating plugged in, then unplugging to walk away.... why waste battery on the heat-up if you are near a plug!

Yeah Vitolo your unit seems very much like mine then. Glad to hear that others deal with innacuracy of the batttery level indicator and its not just mine. I also just charge it up and then unplug it to vape with like 95% of the time. I did take a big gulp cup and pad the inside out with memory foam and the vaporizor sits right in it and then i have the hose come out as the straw. Works really well in public but the battery getting weaker recently has made that not work as good as it used to. I dont think I will buy another battery either it still works well enough for maybe 3 vape sessions without a plug in when fully charged but then after that it cannot get up to 185C. But usually after 3 sessions I am good! I have read others saying they dont get huge clouds but I find if you draw on it long and slow I get great clouds!! The taste is amazing, ive never dealt with the so called plastic taste. This unit is way better than my buddies Iolite.

I rarely go more than 3 sessions without a recharge... unless I was on a long trip... but now I have the car adapter, so I am actually charging on the road while vaping!
I get great taste and ample clouds to visually entertain my "Fog Needs".
I have and use an Iolite also... I love using it also, but the NO2 tastes much nicer to me.
The reason you did not experienc plastic tastes, is likely because you followed instructions and rinsed tube with warm/hot water before use.
Some people try to heat a new unit with the top off.. to "burn off factory odors", so they say.. this is a myth.. Odirs do not burn off, they get "set in" by heat...
also: you NEVER heat an oven of any type with the door open unless you want to kill it's thermostat~

I purchase the no2 about 6 month ago(my first vaporizer!) and I love it. One day I accidentally plugged my laptop charger into my No2, and the No2 charger into my laptop the end result, My laptop charger burnt out, along with the No2(I think the battery just burnt out and not the device), my laptop is fine.

With that being said I contact Gotvape and they replace my device with a brand new one!
Of course I didn't tell them what happen :p

The first No2 I received had a slightly restricted airflow given it a nice feeling when inhaling.

The second No2 airflow is not restricted at all, it almost feel like ur inhaling nothing just regular breathing, but it get the job done.

My Complaint, is anyone experience this with there No2?

Glad you got a new one, but not sure it is cool to decieve a company and get a free one. Anyways my NO2 actually almost set my house on fire last night. The cord that plugs into the wall got really hot and my friend noticed it. The cord itself when moved was making a blue spark and i had to throw it away. I have had mine for well over a year. Does anyone know if Vapir will help with this or do I just need to buy a new cord.

Smokin' the competition.
Vapir NO2 was my first portable vape that I had ever purchased. The times have most definitely changed since I was rocking this product, but I'm always amazed at how much people enjoyed seeing a digital display of the temperature. The heat up time was a little sub-par for my liking and maintenance of the screen was a legit pain in the ass. All in all it was definitely a good experience having this as my first portable.

That not cool at all, I really like the NO2. If the newer model airflow this unrestricted this device is not really going to get any play at all.

I love my NO2. I just cant have something that is a fire hazard. It seems to be from a hole that has left the wires exposed.

I had that issue , the wires started to fray from the charger .
It was still under warranty ( 1 yr ) .
So I got a new one from Vapir for free .

My battery started to lose it's charge/hold after 14 months .
But keep in mind it was used often daily , being my first portable vaporizer .
That I had to pay for because of the 90 day warranty on batteries .

That is exactly what happened. The wires right by the charger started fraying and it caused some blue lil sparks to fly when touched together. I seperated the wires last night and wrapped them with electrical tape and should be good for a bit. My batter is the same. After 14-16 months it is not done but very weak. I pretty much use mine plugged in to get it to temp and then pass it around unplugged. I love my No2. I love my Extreme Q also. Had a buddy visiting me from San Fran this last week and he was blown away by the clouds my Q was making!

ROSSTA,
I just got the n02 about two weeks ago, and my battery has already seemed to have died out. Randomly, the battery icon on the bottom right of the screen disappeared, and I can no longer use it when not plugged in. I can't use the warranty because i got no receipt from the store i purchased it from. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? or is my battery a lost cause? New ones are like 40 dollars, and Im not willing to drop that much money on a single battery..

Oh BTW if you guys get a hookah hose (get one slightly smaller and bore it out for a tight fit) you can have a very nice long hose to allow the vapor to cool down considerably more.

Yeah I have a 2nd battery. I have realized that you get about 1yr of decent battery optimization...then BAM! ...it really becomes elderly and slow, and I feel like I should put it in a home.

That being said, I love my N02. This was my first vap. I ordered it approx 2 years ago after reading fuckcombustion.com threads/reviews. I especially enjoyed learning the "art of vaping" with this tool. I learned alot of lessons with this vap as well:

First, I learned when you pay over $100 for something, you should keep it clean - don't get lazy like I did :( *** Cleanliness is next to Godliness with this bad-boy, it can become very dirty after months of heavy use. ***
Second, the screens can become cumbersome because you have to replace (2) one in the bowl and one in the mouthpiece. I found you can save money by purchasing some heavy duty faucet screens and force them into the mouth piece. Then you can use all of your Proprietary N02 Screens for the bowl. The reason I found this way to manage screen replacement beneficial because the larger screen in the mouthpiece only needs brushing after each use, I replace it bout once every six months when I clean the mouth piece (by soaking it in simple green - heated first of course).
Anyways I really enjoyed / still enjoy my N02.

P.S. I am very excited about my new purchase (I am supposed to receive it by the weekend) my VAPOR BLUNT 2.0 w/ HydroTube water tool. I'll post my review on that thread when I receive it.

Awesome Rude Boy! sounds like you made the right decision. Dude I vape in the car, at the park, anywhere with this bad boy. Most of humanity is uneducated on vaporization paraphernalia and therefore are perplexed when they see me hit it then put it back in my backpack.

Love my N02 (2 years still runnin')

is your air flow unrestricted?
BeEasy , The air flow isn't as free as say the MFLB or VG but not as restricted as a full WISPR chamber , Have you tried two screens in the top, might add a little drag. A lot of vape users like an unrestricted air flow, some a milkshake pull, personal preferance . I Hope you can find a way to love your NO2 again ! Good Luck

I'm new here...though I've been lurking for a bit. I purchased the No2 after researching the Solo and Pax. i happened to find a decent deal on a new No2 and figured i couldn't go wrong.

Prior to the No2, my only experience with vapes was the Volcano. SO I had fairly high expectations, but realistic given the new wave of portables...

With that said, I kept the No2 for a day and sent it back! As far as the air flow--it was too unrestricted for me. I generally smoke Js or one hitter and sometimes a blunt with friends (10 + years!!), and a well rolled J has a bit of resistance. Guess I'm used to that. The No2 was too much like just sucking air. I did enjoy the simplicity of it. I liked how well it conserved, but at the same time the quality of the vapes was lacking so I used significantly more trying to chase that proper level of medication...The heat up time was very impressive when plugged up--not so much unplugged, but not horrible. I didn't like the battery life or size of it either. I used it in a cup and it worked ok but still too big for my liking.

I was debating between the Solo ($140) or Pax ($250) as the seller will let me exchange for a different unit. Unfortuately, a good soul at FC pointed me toward the Inhalater Xp ($250). Now I'm really confused!! It looks awesome...the vids I've seen show great density in clouds. It supposedly ships jan. 16!!! Decisions, Decisions....

for long-time combusters looking to make the switch to vapes...I would avoid the No2. Just my opinion. It didn't totally suck...just didn't fit the bill, for me. I need discretion, portablility and good vape quality (I know, I'm demanding like that!) It just wasn't as satisfying as I felt it should be...perhaps too much air--less concentrated vape. Idk--I'm just a new-be continuing my search...

I was a 50 year combuster that switched to full time vapor using the NO2, as my 1st portable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Vapir NO2 to any patient looking for a medical tool, and not a recreational one.
If serious about the Inhalater, go to inhalater thread, and ask some questions, they will be right there for you!
It is a great vape, as is the Solo.
(although a shorter track record, due it being newer)
I own all of the vapes you have named.
I would give up a number of my vapes, but not the NO2~

Honestly, Vito I trust your opinion...I bought the No2 mainly based on your videos and comments. I do agree it is capable of doing the job, just not as well as some of the competition at this point. It seems you would agree with this statement, no? For a simple--no frills vape that just works...this is it.

If all I could afford was the $100 I spent New/shipped on the NO2 then, I think I would be happy for six months or a year or so. I'm looking at the long run. I would rather spend $150 more now for a portable that I won't be so keen to replace or upgrade in the near future. My next vape purchase should be a home unit as far as I'm concerned:cool:

Btw, would you give up the Inhalater or the Pax if you had to Vito? Just asking!! (not to derail)
