Arizer Solo

I gave up on the Arizer after the second one failed on me. Just blinking bottom light....and nothing else. Won't charge, won't discharge...eventually the blue light at the bottom will drain the battery. Will check it next month...it's just sit in the drawer now. Pity, it was a wonderful unit...while it worked.

Magic Flight, Volcano and Thermovape have proven to be reliable. Iolite and Arizer less so.
You do know the solo comes with a warranty don't you?

so still regretting sending back that spare silver M107 a few months ago  , I saw the listing in ebay for the 107 from seller racksonic ($145 shipped), and decided to give it a shot. I'll let you know how it works out. I messaged racksonic to double check these are indeed m107 and not the other models and they assured me it was. I will know next week, and it will be my first black solo. I can see the value in backing up this model as long as it works as well as my first one... I will be putting it to the test soon enough :D

Nice, I modified my stock stem with a dremal a few pages back. Thicker cloud with the modified one due to the fact that the slit are not that deep, more concentrated.

@Vape4life: Tried resetting that way, thanks, but no such luck!
There have been some changes however, now only the blue light keeps flashing.
Unit will turn on again and beeps but when I plug in the charger the green light doesn't come on, so it doesn't charge anymore.
Something must be very wrong still.
If I ran the Ariser company I would replace any poor performing units to keep the press positive.
Love my SOLO's - mine work unreal. (OK one has some dud batteries however I will fix it.
Burn a joint to kill brain cells.
Vaporize and experience healing!
SOLO is my tool of choice!

Mystery solved!
The LEMON is now my driver.

Changed batteries!

The green wrap is now in the black one.
Need to change out the blue wrap batteries.
Easy to make one with some good quality 1650's!
Looks like I will have two good units after all.
My BLACK SOLO is performing so well.
I don't go higher than 3!
FLAVOR! TASTE! WOW!
Warm up = fast!
Sessions = so many more

Hey ataxian..... do you think you could provide me with a link to the "pre-wrapped, plug-and-play" battery? Thanks for your amazing battery insight!

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
I asked that yesterday, seems like we have to make it plug and play which isn't my forte. Ataxain is going to have to start a business hehe.

So on the same note how is it working as far as time Ataxain? Is it the norm one light a stem?

@Red Indy: guess sending it back is the only option left...Send the movie to vaposhop and I am sure they will help you out. But def seems like a defaulted unit.

Thanks tepictoton, I am quite sure this unit has some major problems, probably the circuitboard.

I could really do with some positive vibes because I am getting quite desperate over here!!!!

Seems like doomsday finally has arrived!!!! (atleast over here!)

Yesterday the Solo got broken and today I want to turn on the PC that I use regulary and there only is a blinking light, seems there is no way for me to get to my harddrives anymore.
I do have several PC's but this one is the only one having SATA harddrives, the others are much older and have IDE. Also it is the only PC where all important information is stored about just anything......so I am getting quite desperate, once again confronted with the quirks of digital technologies.....

SO, PLEASE PEOPLE, SEND ME SOME POSITIVE VIBES.................................!!!!!:mmmm:

Hihi, let it go;) sending some good vibes your way, will 'light' my FC Bubbler for ya:p

Am I right in assuming this would be the very first confirmed case of a solo braking down comletely on its own? Apart from the bowl issues with the ceramic I wonder how many people have had to make use of the warranty for 'other'issues...

they sell IDE to SATA adapters for both power and data. so you can buy the adapters and put your SATA drive in older PC's as "slave" drives and pull the data that way. they also sell SATA external enclosures that hook up to a working PC via USB so that is another option.

I may not be able to give you any positive vibes for your SOLO :( but i can positively tell you there is hope for your PC and it's data.

I will make a few as see if there is any interest?
We can make these SOLO's last a life time with the right replacement parts.

I will be interested too, once I get my Solo back working again!

The battery will have to be replaced after some 2½ á 3 yrs. they say.
So at some time in the coming year and next there will be quite some people in the market for a replacement since the first Solo came from Spring 2011, if I'm not mistaken.
So there is quite a chance that you could have a good bussiness there! :))

Yes, it is my very first & only electronic vaporizer. (since I am not that rich to spend so much on these)
Used to have one which can be used with a lighter but that didn't really do the job!
Have been smoking Cannabis since 1968, started after a friend told me that it would cure my asthma (which I had since the age of 4) AND IT DID!!!!! but I never use tobacco, always pure stuff.
So I got quite some experience in combustion smoking because I did it a lot, I even stayed quite some times in India for that is where you can find the BEST charras in the world!
And lots of Sadhu's who are always smoking!!! LOL.

sound to good!! Is the solo reaching or exceeding it normal factory temperature range? If 3 is enough I wonder what 4 is like or maybe even 7 when I decide to pull out the WP.

I share your enthusiasm as well! :D

Doubt that it would affect the normal temp range. Maybe faster heat up and battery life, but why would it make the temp profile any different?

Just asking a question, from what I know changing the battery on some devices can cause the device to run a little hotter then normal. Bigger battery mean more power and more heat generated during operation.
