Arizer Solo

I have a new black 107 that I received on Wed.
I charged it yesterday for five hours and I got 8-12 minute sessions on,so a total of 96 minutes of use.
The charge light came on when I tried for a 9th session
I had temp set to 6 and bumped to 7 at the last 2-3 minutes before shutdown on all sessions
I got about 1-1/2 stems per 12 minute session. Small dome screen in stock stem.

So an hour and a half on one charge isn't bad, hopefully batt time will get better with usage.

Edit to add I usually shut solo off after a stem,I ran the above letting it run a full 12 minute session.
And I gave kudos to ataxian for the batty fix.

Can I ask where you got your solo M-107

Update: The unit kept on getting hotter and hotter without me being able to do anything to stop it and it started to smell very strongly, so I finally took out the battery, being afraid the unit might melt.

I think there might be some fuckup in the circuit board......

Hello vaporists!
I have made a herb container for my Solo from a Volcano screen and wanted to share with you the pics.

Now it tastes better and vaporizes better! I have observed the container acts as a heat disperser and the heat surrounds all the herb, so everything is equally vaporized, and none of my herbs touches the bottom. It was the silly little improvement my solo needed to become a miniCloud! now it works a waaaay better in long hits.

Hope this works for you!

^^^That's cool man!
I just put another screen on top to seal the deal :)

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
How did you 'form' it to size/fit ? (I don't own a volcano so don't know the screen type)

m0sh: I used to do that, but the container really improves for equal vaporization.

kingofnull: Thanks for the maketing, first time photos hehe. That PVHEGonG rocks! Can I get one of those here in europe?

smokum: I used a screwdriver some keys and a lot of patience. It´s not hard to do but you have to be patient and careful. Don´t know the exact size of the screens like 4 centimeter diameter. They are perfectly sized so you should pick same size ones or a little bigger.

Really? for me its always equal and I never need to stir ... I miss my solooooooooooo

Well you make me doubt. When I used it that way, the bottom part was always darker than the upper part. What happened to your Solo?

You can but it ships from Canada. No big deal, I know of a few people in the EU with PV GonGs. I believe (but don't quote me) that shipping is a flat $8.

And for me it's the opposite. But once I upgraded to PVHES, the whole bowl seems about the same colour when finished, like m0sh said.

I see we are all reaching perfect vaporization with our Solo´s, every master has his trick

If it only had lightsaber sound and a light at the bottom we could even see the "force" coming out of it

Are the Volcano screens bigger than the regular Solo screens? i wanna try that jardri!
Much bigger vorrange. I am talking about Volcano Easy valve screens so there is a huge difference. I found they are just the right size.

jardri,
I love my cano too much, couldn´t leave it like that. Which model stole your cano´s love?
The Volcano was one of the first vapes I ever tried, and it's what got me into vaping as a 'hobby' and lifestyle choice. But I couldn't afford to buy my own at the time, and only recently acquired a Classic Volcano from a friend. And it's actually on loan to another friend at the moment, in exchange for her DBV.

These days the Solo meets pretty much all my needs.

edit: I wouldn't destroy my only screens, I have a backup set ;)

kingofnull this damn little redbull can is doing the same to me. I like the hot vapors it makes but I really love my volcano´s steady taste. With my Solo every pull tastes differently, but playing with the volcano you can make different "blends" and vaporize each herb differently, like making coffee.

PD: Read your question and I am on my Alienware m11X hehe but curiously I am repairing my sister´s Toshiba how did you know?? :whoa:

Those issues have been reported by several members already .
They have tried draining out all the battery life of the Solo and then try charging again .

I hope the vendors and Arizer are browsing on this thread , and will be more understanding
and expedite their replacements with very few hassles .

I also hope they would recall the " Suspected " bad batches of Solos , to save the disappointments
and frustrations of new owners . They're out there , and maybe they can collect the data of all the
units ...ie models #'s that have been returned already .

edit :
I agree with you 2 on the Cano .
But we are comparing a Lexus to a Corolla . imo

I gave up on the Arizer after the second one failed on me. Just blinking bottom light....and nothing else. Won't charge, won't discharge...eventually the blue light at the bottom will drain the battery. Will check it next month...it's just sit in the drawer now. Pity, it was a wonderful unit...while it worked.

Magic Flight, Volcano and Thermovape have proven to be reliable. Iolite and Arizer less so.

That screen mod is incredible! That would actually make me consider a Solo again. I didn't like the pvhes because I felt they thinned out the vapour too much and I found the stock stems perfect with proper technique (stem manipulation), but I never liked the burnt taste and uneven abv on lower temps. I think this could be the ticket! Shouldn't be long before Planet Vape jumps on it!

Someone recently said Arizer had some other ideas up their sleeves...any ideas? I'm assuming not directly on the vape itself, but attachments, accessories?
