MiniVAP Vaporizer

Everyday I'm more amazed. With the updated MV, you can get thick clouds even on the lowest temperature setting (blue), I just coughed, took by surprise by the amount of vapors.

Edit : I just got a mail from them, big stuff is coming up, I'm really exited

Got em on the phone !
The new shop is coming in like 2 or 3 months. I can't wait
I requested a bunch of stuff as usual :D

I need some more of theses caps, grills and baskets so I can prep my whole vaping day in once. I'm getting tired of always cleaning the same pieces because I don't have enough spare parts.

I get such good hits theses days I'm kinda hooked on this new delivery method guys. So tough its only a prototype, so tough yet so good. Apparently the silicone cap I got comes from a really small experimental batch. They say it needs to be perfect before reaching the market, mass production is really not the same kind of deal

I wanted to say that the updated MV is the kind of tool you don't how you to do without it once you got the habit to use it, its like the reaching next level experience so there is no way to get down after, I didn't even touched my volcano for days.

I am glad to hear the mods to your mini are working out. They will probably want to charge you $100 for the caps, grills, and baskets you are looking for. The prices they charge on their web site are ridiculously high. If it were not for the discount they offered I would not have touch mine. At two times the top dollar amount for any other portable vap ..., I still think it is worth it. It is among the safest portable vaps available and produces CLOUDS!

Still waiting on info from miniVap on upcoming mods.

how do you owners would compare this in terms of vapor density and medical effects to the LSV ?
do you think the only significant drawback is the cost?
and lostclusters what kind of discount did you get?

Vapor density is the best I have ever have experienced with the updated unit.
The cost was not even a drawback for me since I live in Europe near the manufacturer I avoided importation taxes and stuff like that. Anyway, huge value for the money, it is the most advanced portable on the market. In fact it is more like a cross over vape that you can use in a lot of ways.

Since the update it is so good, I'm using it as my daily driver thru water tools all day long since I got it back. It kicked my volcano classic of his place of choice, now he's unplugged in a corner.

You definitely want to wait 2 or 3 months for the new shop to come up before buying. The new silicone cap and decarbox ring are worth the wait, they're still not commercially available, but they really make a difference, sessions are like 50% more intense. You don't have to pull hard at all to get mega clouds.

I'm thinking about some new glass but a new vape doesn't tempt me at all. For the moment it is my ultimate heater. It fulfills my need for a complete experience and extraction everywhere with or without a power plug

If I had a bunch of money I would buy another one

LSV=Light Saber Vap? If so the LSV would not work easily in a woods or other out of doors place, so I'd say as a portable vap it works way better. I have used a similar device and did not find it useful at all. The miniVap works very well. It will produce large dense vapor clouds as long as the plastic mouth piece is not used. This mouth piece restricts the air flow too much. The current distributors have said that anyone from this forum would get the same deal offered to me and that is a complete portable kit for $550. I am not soliciting, I am just trying to prevent having to respond to 100 pms asking me what deal I got.

I got to say that eventhow I really like the MV, for an all day driver and to be use with water filtration, I still prefer my LSV -over the Cloud and over the MV actually. But for a quick and huge rip I take out my Cloud.

I haven't try Roger D method and always use my MV (new sil cap and ELB) with the straw so I will try and report to give it a fair comparison.

But as for now, imo because you can see your herb while using, have more temp range, heat up way faster, and cool down the herb in between hits, the LSV is my winner.

I am talking through water of course.

Edit: Ok, so I tried my MiniVap with my piece of glass. Did two Elbs to be exact.

The MiniVap works amazingly well with it !!

I put it on red and filled the ELB by packing it. Just took off the straw, put a wet piece of paper towel around what was left and against my downstem so to make a seal.
Worked nicely.

Gave one or two really cloudy hits, then another 4 or 6. Crushed what was left and got another 2 small rips.

To be honest, eventhow it was really satisyfing, I know I can get slightly denser clouds with my LSV or Cloud. Maybe because I can put on higher temp and more weed but whatever the reasons the result is this one ;)
I although think they both can heat up the weed faster.

With the MV you have to give at least 5 sec to start vaporizing. Always. This is what enables the processus of conduction to be almost inexistent without the convection one in this vape. So I can guess we can say it's one of the con of one the MV Pros ;)
So with the MV you clearly need more lungs and I mean way more lungs.
Maybe it's the wet paper towel that don't make a tight seal (altough I don't think so) but I had to draw long and hard to get the clouds I was looking for. Way more than with a LSV or a Cloud.
The easiest to draw on to get huge cloud would be first Cloud, almost equal but after LSV, then MV.

For personal reasons, as daily drivers I will still keep using my LSV with water and an SSV for flavor and strong hits, but I can clearly see why some people may really be interested by this particular vape, especially the ones that need to choose only one vape :D

Here are for me the MiniVap Pros:

Really easy to handle (medical people hello !)
Medical grade
Sturdy
Can be considered as a portable AND plug-in vape (seriously this vape could have its own section in the plug-in vape one).
Flavor is good, because of its
One of kind way it uses convection and slight conduction, it's kind of unique and makes for only a very little percolation. Let say that compared to other similarly built vaporizers it's the one I would choose as giving the best taste.
Can extract slowly or very fast and as efficiently activ ingredients.
Kind of aesthetic for once, and almost discrete.
I know its one of the few portables I can consider using while at home (this one and the Inh004 actually).
Easy to travel with, small when packed but not "really" small and light when on battery.

Pulled the trigger on one, waiting game now. Looks good.. Thanks all for good reviews it sold me. I like the modular design it has. Plenty potential to be left in a back pack and tubed up my sleeve perfect stealth, paragliding and tobacco can now coexist. Upon landing the medic can get me more happy flying whilst grounded to terra firma safe... Was gonna mod the pax but it would burn though load fast the loading system on minivap might be workable in flight( under my cockpit case no wind) would make me stay up more and not land to chase my nicotine... The Ecig would work but its laced with glycols...glycerine etc. this would be pure and better than landing for a smoke. Goodnight

Let me get this straight, you are going to medicate while paragliding? Wow. There are all sorts of things I could say about that ... But out of respect I will not. Your avatar kind of beat me to it anyway. As far as function goes, the miniVap is up for the task (pardon the pun) and would more than likely survive the adventure better than you. You must have quite a tobacco habit if you can not leave it on the ground for the relatively short time spent in the air. If you can afford it you will definitely like it. I am sort of a discriminating vapist and I definitely feel the search for a decent portable vape is over. There was a time I was not sure but then my reservations were laid to rest when I discovered the plastic (actually some other safer material) mouth piece was restricting the air flow through the device.

Good luck!

Not medicate, tobacco... Any one who medicates and paraglides should be grounded for ever... Only medicate when u land to reflect on a goodie cross country trip. I use my Paramotor more now.. I hate landing for a ciggie so yes a minivap must be they way. Short, I spend half an afternoon or morning up there, but want more airtime in one block, these fly slow. Takes time to get to camp site... Yes baby fly camping... With a tent and a vape and an iPad for when things get boring at night.... No one for miles, beautiful scenery a nice flight too. Just annoyed that vaporizer solutions has not replied to my order.. PayPal says its unclaimed. Damn want mine yesterday...I'll call em today.

Edit.. Those vapor solutions guys too slow.. Minivap store won't let me add to my cart, vaporizeit treats me like a child... Still awaiting approval for what? To browse! Cross them off.. Found a seller in Australia now it's done deal. I'm waiting for a knock early on Friday with a.. I got the silver one. I a cannot a wait anylonger.. The suspense is killing me. Convection... On demand, roast not when idle... Oh so sweet. Bit large tho but very manageable. Il be back once I've felt with my own lungs what this made in Spain thing is like. Is it legal to use pot there or what? Be well guys.

$560 to vap a ciggie ... That much money buys a lot of dip, chew, ... You must have a lot of dough to blow.

Every method you've mentioned is not so healthy. Vaping is closest I can find to clean less I'm wrong and we all blow money to do our vapes.. Your vape list is long, quite an investment. Some nice vapes in there too. I'm also happy I have money to spend. Think of how much it adds up dip, chew.. Also yuck.. Who would want mouth cancer too if it cost 1000 bucks to enjoy nicotine's flavor and never combust again then that's cheap compared to my dads lung cancer bills... I take it you don't smoke. Vaping has saved me so much on tobacco that I now can blow 600 on a vape or 4k for a Paramotor setup without blinking. With minivap vaping on demand and not wasting... Add it up pal.... Think I could buy the airplane next.. Get the picture... Oh did you not also buy the minivap... And seems your list is dearer than my collection, solo, mflb, volcano(sold to buy the minivap), pax and one joye 510. So far mflb was best investment on a vape. Which saves material... Oh I'm not mmj patient... It's legal till u get caught is how it runs here.. It be better if I was back home in holland, but I have a wife so I'm tied to police state Victoria Australia... See there is reason to the madness.. Ride on.. Fly on...vape not combust ur herbs... Be cool

Consuming nicotine is not healthy no matter how you do it. But you know what? What ever floats your boat, kid.

Tweek, I'm still waiting, it's in postal system now, express to boot. Aus post system is pretty darned good too. But glitches do still happen so crossing fingies. Been sucking on pax and Mflb when out and about. With extra batteries pax is autonomous for long time.. See my pax post. Mflb will always be out with me, 4batts and she is so stealthy.. I'm sucking on solo at home, but its charging now and I still have 3 batteries loaded for pax.. Sucking away now. Pax is very plasticky in smell emitted.

Lostclusters, yes it does, I cannot use my preferred plant, pot all day, gotta work too, still.. My nic addiction is strong too, was brought up bad, papa bought me a carton of Marlboro a week, it became gauloises fast. Now I like my nic, tobacco lots and there you go. Tho vaping has cut my tobacco consumption down lots, I'm impressed... Not combusted a ciggies in two months since I had solo. That led me back to Mflb... I've a softspot for that one like I'm in love when it meds me (tobacco or pottie) on the sly in full view of all.. Once I coughed a big cloud... Had to come up with an answer fast... No, I smell no smoke... Person, I saw smoke u exhaled. Me, does any one smell cigarettes? Answer no. Me to complainer you must be hallucinating a ciggie in my mouth too then... Now I'm careful to not overcook my lungs whilst in stealth.

Now I a canna wait to canna in the minivappa you all enjoy minivapper ok cheers

It's all sorta ok. That vape shop in aus was quick to send and the postal system so good. I came back from my weekend getaway( long one too) today to find delivery slip. And some dim stole my cars rear licence number plate too... I see red. We used the wife's car see. So I rode my bike to post office to pick it up, they handed it over that's cool.. Got home and charged it up. It took 2 hours. Put tobacco in to trial it out. Low, blue... Nothing, walked it up till I hit red... Not much there.. It was night time, round ten I loaded it with ganja.. Tried low...till high... Got small results on high..

Now I'm not dissin this thing at all.. I know I have an old version like march 2012 old... It also misses that rubber oring.. Will try one out at work tomorrow, we have lots, auto repair/service shop. Got air conditioner grade ones too. When the unit was switched off I removed the battery and blew from below up through the machine. The air coming out of the top is just as hot on high as my volcano, so I see that it's not sealing well, and dragging air from below through the hot box.. 'There's your problem' as myth busters say.. So it's very pure too I can taste nothing sucking on it until its loaded tho.. Than tasty. It also has old software does not let negative button cycle from lowest tho high like I read the new one does. I've emailed Jorge from minivap too see what he says. But to get anything I had to suck my brains out.. It has lots of promise and is well put together too. Might just also be that I'm not using it right.. Either way I need help. Feel like a test pilot at times with this vaping... Ciggies u just lit and sucked... But it sucked for our health so trade off, eh.

It took me years of everyday practice, adjustments and reflection to medicate properly, and it's a never ending search personally. The experience using the MV gets better everyday.

Hang on for the upcoming silicone cones, and the decarbox ring, it will thicken your experience a lot.

Yes, keep trying, playing and adjusting.
This is also part of the fun part of vaping, every vape is different and need to be played a lot and understood well to be completely efficiently used ;) There are so many variables in this game.

Sorry Raf007, your review did not receive it's "due" until just shortly. JPB distracted me. I agree with most if not all of the points you made. It is a pretty useful vape.

I have been to the new web site and found things a bit pricey. I did not see any discounts. Quite the contrary.
