Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

cloud buddy is here... you can position it in many ways. I actually prefer it closer to the can, but swung it out for the video. I can see this being good for company, its the manuvering of the cloud that makes me the most nervous, so not having to lift it as often is nice. Don't know if you can tell, but this size piece is at the top of my lung capacity. I could barely clear it. I'm going after the 60t to see if it's a better size.

The Buddy appears to be well made from what I know of glass. The welds are clean, and all the joints are smooth, no chips or scratches. It feels pretty solid. I am still a little too chicken to balance the Cloud on the side car piece.

Do you feel you need to stir the ELB to get the maximum use out of it? I stir the ELB contents after every hit or two so I would still need to move the Cloud around to get to the ELB.

I just don't put much in, and will hit until I stop getting visible vapor. I only stir if I put more than a pinch or so in there. I still feel it lessens the amount of times I am lifting the Cloud just to clear the chamber.

Thank you. That helps me make a decision on purchasing it... Cheers, Jam!
Okay...
Finally got my cloud buddy ordered! Thanks again Jam, for helping me to visualize how to use it! It's ingenious really! Also thanks team VXC, I am sure it will be a wonderful accessory!!

On another note: The website is still wonky as shit. :disgust: I had to re-register even though I completed a purchase just days ago. In addition to this oversight I also had to change my payment/ shipping info because once the order was accepted I noticed (good thing too :ko: ) that it was being sold to and shipped to someone else entirely in VA with totally different info... This should not be happening...

Now just waiting to get this bad boy and set it up!! Cheers!

Guys, this thing is amazing! Ive been vaping the whole day before receiving the cloud so I thought I wouldnt get as medicated since I have high tolerance. But my god, the medication she offers is the best Ive tried so far:tup: . Before writing this post, I had to put my HT down for a break because the medication crept up on me unexpectedly, surprisingly satisfying. So far with the little testing Ive down, Ive really liked the HT 2.0 setup, I think I may purchase a J-hook in the future in order to have the mouthpiece lower.

The website is still wonky... Please guys, have a look at this when you have some time...

We are always working to improve the usability of the site. Sounds like a database error or something. Sometimes fixing one error tends to cause something else to glitch, who knows maybe we tweaked a setting and it caused some database confusion. :( Thanks for letting us know.

That cord mod is incredible. It's true when the cloud turns off it maintains a vaping temp for a while. I have turned mine back on after a few mins off and the lights instantly went green. So I really dig that way of vaping by getting it up to temp, quick release cord and pass around....simply awesome!!

I'm gonna buy every single damn Cloud that has revisions or improvements!

Hey I sent my cloud in for warranty repair on DEC 12. Got conformation it was delivered on 12/14 and I have not heard back a thing. I sent an email to support on 12/14 after delivery to confirm. I just sent support another email today since I would have figured I would have heard something by now. Am I wasting time worrying or is this normal for vapexhale warranty repair and I should just chill.

So I've been cloud less since x-mas morning...Fuck this is painful, once you live with it, its really, really hard to live without!
I've been waiting for a custom bub and the cera for a couple months now, and was thinking that my patience had grown emensly because I had not been constantly yearning for tracking info. Now, I have realized it wasn't my patience that grew, but the cloud had vaped my impatience away.
With that said, this hopefully isn't a "pity me, I want my cloud" post(I'm fine, I have plenty other vapes) but more of a testament of how good this thing actually is.
My cloud is in good hands at VXL Babylon since Wednesday and hopefully it will come home next week!
Thanks for listening.
Edit: now a feel like a douche, @wazupbrah has been cloud-less way longer than me...

It doesn't sound normal but it's always possible for someone to slip through. You are wasting your time worrying because as soon as they realize if you did slip through a crack they will take care of you. You also have to remember they said they weren't doing repairs for some of that period because of the holiday.

I got mine today too, I feel the same way - I like it better on the outside with the carb being closer to my bong. On my stemless I have no choice - if I run the cloud on the inner hole it puts the bottom side of the cloud right at my face when pulling. I also agree that its dank quality glass for sure. Really clean cut and the ground glass is done super smooth.

Quick shot of the HXL Hydracirc 2.0, this baby is keeping me ripped, it certainly does have low drag.

My Cloud Buddy was supposed to arrive today, but it didn't make it. :(

Fortunately, my other package did make it today.

The Devastator is beautiful, and built with some serious heft. The joints and welds are heavy duty to say the least. Unfortunately I'm getting over a bad cold, so my lung capacity is about that of a hamster with asthma right now. :( So I won't be able to test it for a few days while I recuperate. I will instead pass the time testing out my new bronze VG (pictured on the lower right) which also arrived today.

I'll be sure to report my experience with the Devastator once I can muster the strength to give it a go. If I can find my way back to my keyboard, that is. :ko:

Dang all, color me jealous. My package from the heavens was missed via delivery today when i was at work. I wrote a note to hold the package at the post office today, so i can pick it up. It looks like it says after 10am on the notice hand written that was left here. I wont go into work tomorrow till about noon, so was hoping i could pick it up prior to work, and no one will be here to sign for package tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a 10:30am pickup.

Really shows how massive those joints are.

@VXC, I don't think it has ever been mentioned the actual sizing of the Glass-on-Glass joints of the devastator? I know it reduces to the 18mm, but the joint itself looks like a 30-40mm at least.

It's just as well that my Cloud Buddy didn't come today since I can't really use it yet. But when it does get here, (and once I kick this cold,) I think I'm going to break in both CloudBuddy and Devastator by using it as a Y adapter to rip from the Cloud and Supreme or maybe UD at the same time. :brow: I don't think I've seen that done, so I think I should give it a go!

I wonder if VXL would make me an extra wide CloudBuddy so I can use both my Clouds at the same time?

I purchased a couple of units a couple months back, both are now dead. As I am an international customer and have no warranty, when each unit broke I pulled them down for inspection.
In both cases it has been where the wires connect to the ellement that has failed, but the only fix I can see is a new element.

Might pay for VXL to look into bolted terminals on the element or other options to increase reliability, in 2 months I have killed two unts with only moderate use (evening only).

If VXL are willing to sell me replacement glass tube/heater ass/temp sensor, this would be an easy fix for myself, I have already emailed SM and am waiting for a reply.
If they were willing to do this, I would continue to support them, otherwise I can not justify paying another $600 everytime a unit dies due to a flawed design.

Other then the reliability issues, this is by far the best vape I have ever used, I really hope I will be able to make use of my clouds again one day :(
