Vaporizers with the highest temperature settings? 260C/500F+?

I tried to do a search regarding this but didn't find anything. What vaporizers can reach a minimum of 260C/500F? Are there vaporizers that can go even higher? Is there a site or list that details such information. I wish manufactures detailed such information on their product page. It would have been so helpful! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays.

Most high-quality vapes don't go this high as that temperature ignites most herbal blends. I can think of EQ (max 260), PAMFLB (PA on 50% should be somewhere 200). Maybe 7th floor vapes can reach it aswell, I've heard you can combust with them with highest settings and slow pulls.

the herbalaire is known for it ability to get really dark ABV. Not sure if thats a comment on the temperature or the ability to extract chemicals from the herbs though.

but its another option.

Salutations Shad0w,

I'd suggest you search for a vaporizer capable of handling Salvia Divinorum (e.g. 277 °C for dried leaves i believe). From old notes i can tell you in the 213 °C range you'd have the MiniVap, the Volcano or the Zephyr iOn to choose from while at 235 °C there's the Aromed 4.0 and also a few others which aren't worth a mention. I'm curious to see if there's a good vaporizer capable of temperatures that high in any case!...

Yes, quality products only! Thanks for mentioning Aromed 4.0. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have never known about it. I have Salvia extract, potent ones. Someone told me 240°C for extracts but he wasn't sure. Any chance you know? I'm also very curious to see if there are vaporizers capable of even higher temperatures. Right now, Aromed 4.0 is on the top of my list.

EQ goes to 500, though I don't know that the actual temp is at 500.

Another forum member ( EQ owner) told me even though the readings say 500F that he didn't think it was accurate. I have send an email to Arizer. Hopefully they will reply.

ubie + BIC ... and it's all glass, too!

ubie is a cutie. I'm all up for all glass but not jazzed about butane torch lighters especially with salvia!

Hi again Shad0w,

Sorry, i asked related questions before i finally decided to acquire an HerbalAire and all i can tell is that my vaporizer just won't work for Salvia. The 277 °C mark was from a citation of Daniel Siebert ("The Salvia Divinorum reaserch and information center", 2008-Aug-17):

« Based on my own experiments using an adjustable thermocouple-controlled heat gun, I found that the ideal airstream temperature for vaporizing salvinorin A from dried leaves is approximately 277°C. »

;)

Right now, Aromed 4.0 is on the top of my list.

If you like halogen-based deviced there's the Oracle that might reach equally high temperatures, go figure. Here's my 1st Top-of-the-List item (with Salvia in mind, just in case), that was a couple years ago:

The idea of using a balloon seemed to make sense to me as i wa worried by the need to control dosage and i felt bags may allow that...

I'm all up for all glass but not jazzed about butane...

Me it's the thought of hot glass exploding under the contact of a single water drop that i don't like but i may be a bit paranoïd about it.

Salutations HarMudge,

Egzoset, I think the Oracle is dis-continued...

Oh my, how come such important news go unoticed! Not to mention their web site is now down:

Thanks for that information, i'll need to visit their thread it seems, eventually!!

I guess 232 °C (450 °F) would have been insuficient anyway.

...

The DaVinci is rheostatic and now that. Next thing is going to be about an induction Volcano with fog conditioning!...
