Well you missed it somehow, one of the common requests for the T1 was a smaller bowl for faster times, and getting rid of the stirring requirement and the 'tracking' though the load if you didn't stir enough. You'll note TV has said as much several times in this thread IIRC?

I get it that such a change is not the sort of thing recreational users are looking for ( at least often, sometimes it's a sought after feature.....), but please remember, recreational users are not the target customer. It's nice when they find it useful tool as well of course, but first and foremost the focus of TV is on the serious medical users. They were responding to ability to deal with the T1 with compromised hands and wrists (a big issue) as a theme though the transition as well. The switch changes, removal of threaded connections, longer battery life, non plugging screen as well as the bowl changes all serve that end. Too bad it got heavier in the process, that will I think be an issue for some?

OF
I didn't miss anything. I have read the posts by Thermovape about a smaller Cera bowl 'upon our request,' but I read the entire T1 thread and I can't recall one person asking for a smaller bowl size. I remember people saying that they chose the T1 over the Evo because of the larger bowl size. The T1 bowl is small enough as is, I don't think anyone requested a 'smaller bowl'. 'Smaller bowl for faster times" was not a common request in the T1 thread. If anything people wanted more power for faster times, not a smaller bowl.

What I really want to see is comparison of the Pax and the Cera LL... Because, I have a WISPR, and that's uniqueness is that I can use it when my Pax is dead, and runs on gas.

Anyway, point being, the Pax is great for being stealthy and portable, but if the Cera LL produces more vape and is more efficient (due to it being convection), than maybe the Cera LL can find a place in the arsenal :).

When tax check comes I think I'll grab a Cera LL depending on the reviews and such...

I haven't seen a Cera LL video yet, I'm going to search now... On their website I only see the EO one which is awesome, but I can't get EO here LOL.

Don't forget the battery life of the Cera. It seems like it should be comparatively impressive (and only set to improve), given you're conservative with the power switch.

Yeah exactly, and especially the fact that it has a user replaceable battery and I can buy two batteries and a charger for two. That rocks. The Pax battery life is not that impressive.

I Dunno man. The LL vids seems to produce more vapor than Other portables I've used.

I'm stoked to get the LL cart.

no doubt. i never got my Evo to produce like the LL video shows. that is impressive. the only negative was that it takes a crazy long inhale to get there. even still a hit 1/3 the size of what Noah was producing in the LL video would be fantastic by me. so 1/3 of that crazy long inhale really.

the LL cart has me drooling over here

We won't know till people with non-superman lungs gets to try it. When we asked for shorter hits in the LL they never got to it cause it was put together time and then unfortunate events time...funny movie.

We were out car shopping today and my wife commented that she thought that I had a large amount of devices with me. I had my Revolution, my T1 W/ RES, and my Pax (for sharing) Hopefully the Cera will deliver well enough with the LL cart. It will cut down on the devices I have to carry with me. From the looks of the videos I should have no worries... I haven't bought the e-juice cart yet, but I suppose that will be next, and then all I will need is a cool and compact carrying case to keep everything together in my messenger bag. Need something that can hold carts (leak proof) meds, and the device with a couple batts. Anyone else start looking for something like this yet?

I think if you had a purse she wouldn't have known...they do have man purses. Have you asked her why she is carrying all that crap in her pocketbook? As you might surmise:rofl: from that statement I don't carry what I like to call luggage with me

Nope. I do have a man purse, but I was using all 3 devices at one time or another so that is how she noticed them all. Maybe Cera will be my all in one portable!

Hi everyone!

I'm interested in seeing all of your personal reviews of the Cera, as I'm interested in possibly getting it at some point (I'm happy with my Pax, but always love adding to my vapes).

I'm confused as to when all of you who have pre-ordered the Cera are expecting to receive them?

Hopefully in the next week or so, they will start shipping. I don't think we have an exact date at this point. Should be soon though. Hang out, and reviews will start pouring in after the rush of excitement over shipping. It's about to boil over.

Thanks, jamband! Really looking forward to hearing everyone's opinions/experiences!

I only wish it didn't look so, um, phallic, lol! #shallow

The only advantage I see is if someone/law enforcement happens to see it rolling around in the backseat of your car they are probably gonna be too uncomfortable to mention it let alone wanna touch it:rofl: . I'm really hoping they come out with some sort of skin/sleeve like they have for cell phones.

They are planning on it. There was a lot of talk about it a couple of weeks ago, they're just making sure it's American sourced. IIRC Noah said they were in talks with a company local to the San francisco area for them, but this was before the delays. The sleeves will be multi-colored but I think they are starting with black sleeves.

I believe they are not purely aesthetic either, but also are a thermal insulator.

I think the perfect skin will be something made out of wetsuit material for insulation and feel, a second choice will be someting made out of heat shrink tubing which comes in many colors and is very inexpensive, about $5.00/foot. I have put some on my Revolution (upper end) and it prevents air from leaking thru the load window, a big plus in my book.

Link to what you are speaking about.

Now why would you want a skin Buddy if you just said the police will just ignore it cause they don't want to know. That is the best reason for not having a skin.

I didn't say that, Yeeebuddy did, I just replied to his post and as far as the link to what I'm talking about there are several companies selling heat shrink tubing, from Home Depot to Amazon, I happen to buy from a company online called cable organizer, they have all kinds 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 and 6:1 polyolefin in all different colors. just google cableorganizer, they ship fast too.
Besides polyolefin there's PVC, Viton, Neoprene and Kynar, all with different properties and uses.

I think he was talking to me, I was half joking with the people might think its a ------- comment. If I take my stuff anywhere it's usually in my trunk to avoid these situations. Watersuit material sounds kinda nice.

I get it now, the first sentence was directed to me and everything after that was a question to you.

You must have missed it.... Once again.. I said I saw where Thermovape said they made the bowl smaller upon our request. What I didn't see was where any of the posters requested a smaller bowl. If you would be so kind to provide any of the 'numerous' posts of FC members requesting a smaller bowl size. Thanks

Also I would be really unimpressed if I preordered. Promised before Christmas, and now its Jan 3rd and they haven't even shipped yet.

Shit happens, they had an order of parts held up is what they said. I'm not surprised, however this is what can happen when you give a date. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't...

OF, he means he can't find where in the T1 thread people were asking for a smaller bowl. The other thread that ThermoVape got their suggestions from.

I'm sorry, you're still missing my point it seems. I'm obviously not being clear enough. It doesn't matter that you can't find people suggesting a smaller bowl where you looked; customers either volunteered that suggestion or responded that way when asked for coments by TV. I frankly don't recall if I volunteered the suggestion or they asked specifically (I think I volunteered, I was an early Beta tester for various power cores for T1). The part you apparently missed was what I quoted above. The majority (if not all) those contributing opinions to the decision suggested reducing the size, we know this because Tim (their employee) told us so. Not because you can find or not find that information in the T1 thread.

But perhaps you didn't miss it after all and were just looking for a way to challenge their decision? If so I suspect your problem will be you're not privy to all of their communications. I know for sure at least one guy suggested it, 'cuz I'm him. I also suggested lots of other things they had the good sense to ignore.
