Just go choke your chicken. Works for me when I'm feelin' a bit frustrated. :brow:

Lol +1 Lwien FTW! Perhaps that will be on the agenda AFTER Jiu Jitsu. Can't try to do both at once... Unless you choke yourself like those auto erotic asphyxiation deaths you read read about in the paper once in a while.

 I always seem to catch these specials after making an order. C'mon payday...

Eh sometimes shit happens. If you are interested in a unit and moving forward but can't make the deadline we could work something out if you shoot me a PM... Kinda like a temporary layaway type of deal.

It's the Christmas season and we should all be jolly!

Well we had a great Xmas giveaway contest. Thanks for participating everyone. New units will be shipping the week of the 14th as per polycarb problems.

I'm in the process of getting polycarbonate injection molding quotes. I'd like to get the price down to $249.99 if possible with the PC injection molding. Initial mold pricing is very high but it makes sense to move in this direction for quality, overall cost savings and faster production times.

Kaizen - always improving.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas.

Nice link BDV. Similar design, it reminds me of brewing equipment I used to use with those tri-clamps. Bottom line is you gotta see through the tube if you want the best hit, otherwise how does one judge how much vapor/smoke he/she is good to take in?

I was never a huge heady guy and was more a biology, chemistry and computer kinda nerd. Naturally I lean toward scientific ground glass joints and clear boro FTW.

Should have stated a bit more, as I certainly wasn't trying to steer people away. I know you didn't take it that way, but I wasn't really clear with my intent, other than stating, I don't like the hidden nature of the whole process, going on while smoking/vaping.

I had to laugh when I saw these. I don't doubt they are well-made and quite a bit of planning went into them. I just think its interesting, the contrast between the two and different paths. I know which I prefer... I like bubbles. I want to see them.

Plus, I think having an entire piece made out of metal, would bug me. Especially against my skin.

Wonder why the site still shows that it's "sold out".

Some updates:

I wanted to change that when I got back from vacation :)... Then retailers started calling me on vacation left and right and bought out nearly all my stock. Individual customers began firing off emails to order as well.

My brother and I are off to my machinists right now to grab some parts. I'll be ordering more stock once I fulfill these orders. I'm also looking at polycarbonate injection molding to have a unibody tube, mouthpiece and perc plate. This will be identical to the current design, yet translate into faster manufacturing times and lower cost for the consumer. I'm having an engineer produce the CAD file now and will be moving forward shortly. This will probably take a few months to get on the market.

Custom polycarbonate injection molding is VERY expensive for tooling cost but it should be worth it in the long run. Gotta spend money to make money, I'm good at the spending money part, trying to make some money to pay off these damned student loans lol.

Hehehe a good "problem" for sure. When the customers and retailers are happy, I'm happy. It's all part of the game, working together to produce the best possible product at a competitive price.

So I just got it. Yeah. Cubes in the freezer as we speak.

Gotta question. It came with two downstems. One with vertical slits and one with horizontal slits. Which one should I use and what's the difference in diffusion?

Vertical, will be more of a showerhead effect, I would think.

Haven't vaped out of it yet. Won't for another hour or so, but I did try out the different downstems. The one with the vertical slits definitely has a bit more drag and it percs differently. Can't really describe how it percs differently, just does.

Bong is really heavy. I don't see how anyone could tip this beast over.

And it looks every bit as good as it does in the pic. Verrrrry clean workmanship. Has that functional clean look very similar to products made by Apple. So far...........so good.

Will give more info after I actually vape from it.

Thanks Lwien. I was definetly influenced by industrial design in architecture, particularly Rocio Romero prefabs and technology components. Regarding the downstems I included both cuz you were the grand prize winner and I figured you might have a preference. I'm not too picky myself, as you mentioned the vert slits have a bit more drag. Hell I'm still using an older model myself because I sell the new ones... Soon enough ill have a new perc plate model as there's a nice improvement.

2clicker - I've got rough diagrams drawn for a bub design but right now this tube is my core competency. I'm sure in the future the product line will expand.

Hope you have a nice evening with the SC Lwien.
