Question for those who know whats up. After watching the videos thing looks amazing for oils, im looking on the site and it says its 249.99 for the stainless steel Cera essential oil vaporizer. It says batteries and charger arent included, How many batteries do i need? It say 24.99 for a battery, is this just for 1? Also if I only want to vape oils do i need to buy a EO cartridge because i only see loose leaf and liquid carts on the site? 300$ for everything isnt that bad if you ask me, would be a little bummed if i had to buy a 100$ cartridge for EO on top of that though.

It's confusing for sure....you shoulda seen it before it got better.....

You've figured it out right. If you buy the oil version, it works for oil. If you want to add herb, you need that cart. If you go to the 'buy the Herb Cera' page you see you can't buy herb carts, but can buy oil.

IMO you want two batteries (at least). They don't have to both be top of the line (a lower grade fully charged is going to do better than the big bucks guy discharged every time.....). For the present, there's some sort of foul up with getting the batteries made up for them so they said they would substitute a 'nearly as good' (shorter charge life) version instead and include a free extra. When the proper one's get in you can swap for them but I bet most guys don't bother. So I'd probably order one and take the two lesser versions if I didn't have anything all ready. Remember, you'll need a charger too. Again, others will work, the 'factory' one is tested and warrantied by TV, it's fast and specifically intended for the class of battery we're talking here (unlike general purpose units).

So, yes, $300 ($250 plus a battery and charger) and you're good to go with oils. Or herbs. Or 'juice'. Costs you a hundred more for 'dual duty'.

Good luck.

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
OF I think they said only and extra battery for those who already put pre-orders in at least that is how I understood it. I think if you want the two lower batteries you need to contact them and make sure.

added the LL cart to my order. although i mainly medicate with EOs, it would be kind of silly to have a portable that cant do herb.

I agree with you there, but my experience is if they're both in the box, the oil version gets way more job assignments (at least for now). And none of the last few folks I've showed it to wanted to try the herb cart at all.....go figure.

No doubt subject to personal choice or available goods.

Yeah, but sadly I can't get any EO like you said "subject to available goods."

I can't wait to see what the videos/reviews on LL model. :-). I just watched the EO video and man that was insane. I wish I could get EO, LOL ;-)

I ordered the Ti EO rig, then added SS LL & Ejuice carts... because I want to experience the WHOLE package and believe I will enjoy all aspects of what's offered at different times of the day and all day long with the ejuice ;)

Funny thing is that i bought the LL cart with friends in mind. I have a buddy planning to get the pax but i want him to check out the cera first.

not only that but im not trying to vape the world out on my EO supply. usually if im with friends who medicate they have herb.

hopefully someone will use my LL cart from time to time.

maybe ill grab some A+ genetics and some dope bubble hash and get back to my roots.

Don't discount the bubble hash! It's a treat in the LL cart for sure. Generally that doesn't help guys with supply issues I guess, if the dispensary has bubble they have oil? Then again, home made bubble is easier and safer to do as I understand?

supply is no issue for me. (sorry not trying to brag). however for the best EOs i make a 90min drive to Santa Ana in OC. (i usually buy a quarter of wax or shatter to spread out the driving cost. not too bad considering my 4banger turbo VW gets 35mpg on the highway). bubble hash is available almost everywhere down here (delivery only in SD), however the quality is not always so great. im a stickler for good concentrate. and im not really willing to experiment with different delivery services.

usually if the dispensary has EO they will have bubble and kif as well. and yeah, making bubble hash is safer and easier than making EOs. (although EOs have gotten a bad rep because a few retards have never heard of VENTILATION)

luckily tho my spot in OC has just about every type of concentrate imaginable. so yeah, next time im up there im def gonna grab some concentrates for the LL cart as well.

some super super silver haze
some bubble hash
some kif
and lots of EOs

Cera is going to be a very lucky lady.

It is going to take some serious Cera use before I will be able to call this phallus symbol a lady, lmao.

Did you send an email to be able to mix and match? I have been thinking I want the SS Cera but TI Cores for EO and LL.

Well, I'll certainly agree it's safer. I'd even consider it 'classier' than EO. I would like to promote that it is easier since I would prefer more cold water concentrations, but I don't know if that is true. Granted "easier" is a subjective term, but just from personal experience I know a few people who would say it is significantly more difficult than some of the extraction processes out there.

Again, I would gladly support anyone in the decision to go water hash over hash oil, it is very nice and there is virtually no risk of blowing up yourself and your neighbors.

+1 to that!!! i know EXACTLY how you feel!!! it's herb only where i am too. i have had wax 1 time in my life. i hope to improve that number but not enough to spend $300 on an oil vape. now $300 on a awesome LL vape that i can upgrade to do oil later should it become more available is good too. that is why i am interested in hearing how this works for the LL people out there. I have been experimenting making my own oil from my DBV wands and my ABV but it's not the same

Nope, I just started my order cart with the Ti EO device, then opened a second window with a SS EO device and added the SS components to my cart from the list. Refreshed my original window to make sure it listed my cart how intended and closed the second window.

Worked for me :D

Well I've given my opinion....and I can really only do that once. I can understand the 'buzz' for the oil cart. I'm sure you do to.

Tell you what, the next couple of guys I show it off too I insist they try the LL first??? I don't think that's really going to tell guys what they want to know, there's a bit more skill involved there than turning it on and sucking.....

Still all one can do is try.

Just read some interesting articles about metal ions effect on astronauts and on metal ions in ecigs:

http://www.theverge.com/2013/1/1/3824362/astronauts-face-accelerated-alzheimers-disease-in-space

http://www.googlenewsonline.com/damaging-effects-of-ions-from-electronic-cigarettes.html

Basically comes down to inhaling ions which have a positive charge and steal electrons from substances that have an electron to donate. Otherwise known as oxidizing. Oxidizing, or burning, occurs with rust, exercise, etc. all the talk about anti-oxidants in food are basically, foods that have an electron to give which neutralizes the effects of oxidation.

Knowing that the Cera e-liquid has an iron core, I'm wondering if this should be a concern. I've pre-ordered a cera, and have burned out my AVAs. So I've ordered some Joye 510s. They have a metal mesh covering, which helps to hold & vaporize the liquid. I've always hated the metal taste after using for a while.

It seems that the perfect heating element would be glass, but I've never heard of glass that can be heated by running a current through it.

Has anyone tried convection vaping with loose leaf tobacco?

FYI: smoking adds a great deal of heavy metals to a body's system. Vaping is still much safer.

SpiralVape,
How is it? Does the vapor have an odor to it? Can you vape indoors without the room smelling? I'm wondering how it compares to e-liquid.

Lots less stinky than smoking the stuff.
Flavor is awesome. Depending on the tobacco, of course. I like pipe tobaccos better than cigarette stuff.

As far as eliquid goes, I've been in that game for 3 years and I honestly do not understand how anyone would want to spend over $200 on non variable volt supply. U can get a twist for $30 or a provari for $160 or anything in between which are IMO more appropriate for nic joose..

I use my AVAs on my provaris and would not consider using them on an unregulated supply. Max safety, taste, longevity of atomizer... ad nauseum.

Thanks for the help wootze.

In the past I rolled my own cigarettes and had some blends I liked. But the health advantages of vaping are tremendous compared to smoking. Not to mention being able to smell better and breath better.

I've been slowly learning about the intricacies of voltage on vaping. I have an ultramax (T1) and noticed a difference on a freshly charged battery. I have an ego-t, vea and v2 (my first e-cig) and dislike the taste and performance of all of them. Which is why I went for the ultramax & AVAs.

I'm thinking about trying the cera loose leaf core for tobacco. I already have an order in for the e-liquid core.

Comparing e-juice and convection, which do you prefer?

please dont think i don't value your opinion... on the contrary... i applaud it. i just would like to hear from more people that use it for LL thats all. my main use will always be LL and someday i hope to use more EO.... but if i want to be realistic.... LL is what i will need it for.

Freshly charged aw imrs come off my pila chargers at 4.2 volts. Hence the need 4 regulation.

Convecting tobacco vs ejuice? I smoked for 50 years. Ejuice works well most of the time.
But vaping a good pipe tobacco is more calming.

Question for those who have used this with EO/wax it obviously produces some thick vapor but how is the smell? Say I take a few fat rips in a enclosed bathroom, how long would you estimate it takes for the smell to be completely gone. I don't have much experience vaping oils so all I can compare it too is taking a bong rip which is gonna stink up a room for a good while. Lol if I'm on vacation with the parents I would like to be able to have a nice little vape session, take a shower and not have the bathroom reek when I'm done.
