Gee I admire that you can take a TB if that is what you are doing. I unfortunately can't since I would need drugs to replace vaping which is not kewl. I try to cut down when home since I can sometimes be ok if home.

I am fairly sure it is since that is what they thought was wrong with mine but told me to send both in just in case it wasn't. It wasn't the charger but I do believe it has the same warranty unless abused as always.

Also don't forget Randy takes good care of us in either respect.

randy is an awesome guy! i will be sending my charger today

The plug is fairly tight so if there is no way to push it in you have identified your problem it seems.

Yes, Randy does

It is a forced TB unfortunately :(

VapeNStone,
I'd rather send mine to Arizer, but that's just because I don't want to ship international to PIU, only to have them ship it back to Canada for warranty service. Who knows, maybe Arizer ships it back to PIU in the USA and then they finally ship it back to me in Canada .

It's probably not that complex but in my case I'd rather just send it directly to Arizer. I'm not even sure they'd allow this.

For you KON I agree but if in the USA it is silly cause you have to pay postage and a long wait. I think most vendors check and replace I know Randy did. I suppose then they send it in but that doesn't effect us the customer.

That's good to know, I wasn't sure if vendors would send out units without the go-ahead from Arizer.

Whats up guys?
Been searchin the 400+ pages of this thread for some guidance but havent found what im looking for yet.

just picked up a M1A solo and day 1 was everything i could have hoped. however today when i went to charge it, i got a constant beep and lights 123 were spazzing out.
i Followed some advice i read in some previous posts. (ran it dead and tried again) this seems to have worked. BUT now when i turn it on it gives me no indicator on my battery level. just LED#7 flashes once and the idle light comes on.
Anyone else ever seen or heard of this?
should i be a lil worried of future problems?

When a unit becomes this popular and manufacturing meets demand, you will notice more readily the few that do not meet standards.
Contact the seller.... they know about these issues and will respond!

Dreamerr , (pretty sure it was) when talking about purchase and authorized vs unauthorized, and PIU.

Do I understand correctly that if purchase through PIU that IF I have a warranty issue , that PIU covers return shipping to them with no cost to me?

FYI I spoke to an ebay seller ( I don't feel seller name is relevant as this point) they informed me they get their units direct from arizer and that they ( the seller) will handle all warranty claims for me. but that I would be responsible to pay for return shipping to the ebay seller.

here is a portion of the msg

We offer a 2-Year Manufacturer Warranty. The buyer will pay for all return shipping. We are selling the Newest version of the Arizer Solo --M1A3807474. This is newer that the M-107 or M-108. Has a steel heating bowl and the whips fit flush.

lastly , a forum issue, for some reason I no longer have all the posting options that are usually on top of the posting window, i.e. link, quote, font, smileys , all of its gone, how I get it back? and yes I choose the "more options" for posting yet nothing shows.

I can't help you with the forum stuff cause I am stupid with that shit.

Yes PIU did pay for my shipping back. He emailed me a label and I printed it. A return still wouldn't be 20 bucks if you wanted to go with ebay. I just think PIU is a pleasure to deal with. Also you may be able to switch the stems if you wanted to cause you mentioned you may not want the glass. The ultimate decision is yours. I just go with what I know and I don't like to take chances for 20 bucks JMO.

I have to say the solo at present is topping my list of vapes for potential purchase, regardless of vendor. :)

really ? I did not know that, makes it all the more appealing :) I thought the whole unit was under 2 yr warranty. cool beans :)

From Arizer website:
"The Solo features a two year manufacturer’s warranty, restricted to normal use. Due to quality craftsmanship, the Solo’s Heating Element is backed by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty and the lithium battery is covered by a one year warranty."

I really wish to see Arizer back in the desktop fight vs Cloud and LSV because their support is just brilliant...

They are already sending me a new solo!

They are working on a new products so expect more :)

As good as their support might be, the Solo is really no much for a proper desktop vape... :2c: I used to think so in the past but a couple of days with the Hot Pod changed my mind easily... ;)

Where did I say that?

I said , I wish to see them back in the desktop fight...(meaning a new desktop vaporizer)

But IMO, the solo is just what one person needs...if you want to share it around I agree a desktop vape would be better, but at least in terms of extraction the solo is at the max.

Misread your phrase I guess... Sorry mate! I agree with you on the Solo being all a person needs and even more people if I might say... But a desktop is a better experience.

A like the "experience" of the solo better than the Volcano or the EQ...so ... I don't really agree...in fact I love the full session of the solo...

Hey Solos!

Quick question for the wood stem lovers:

I wanted to order a shorty wood stem because of using it as a wpa and outside so, the smaller size would be a plus.

BUT, Ed has warned me that some people feel the shorty gives a harsher hit (to be expected) compared to the regular length. Do you guys feel this difference in harshness would be reason enough to steer you away from the shorty?

TIA!

I have both SOLO's working well.
For flowers my go to driver is the SOLO!
FLAVOR - You control it.
I could buy another unit and keep chasing the newest invention however this is more peaceful!.
My other vapes (retired) tasted like burnt popcorn.
Keep it practical!

Good Stock Straight Stems with inserted screens (stem stays cleaner) kept in the acrylic tube.
I don't break them like I use to. Glass for me is critical.

"The SOLO experience is with glass"!
