My GBD FC Bubbler has a removable mouthpiece and I use the tamer as a mouthpiece from time to time. I have also used the tamer before the water. The tamer before the water cools it slightly, but not very noticeable. Using the tamer as the mouthpiece is an extremely satisfying experience. The vapor comes out very cold and flavorful. This is the way I enjoy using the tamer more than any other method. There is almost zero chance of getting the tamer dirty, but it does its job so well.

That's originally what I wanted, but my glassblower friend already has a bubbler that looks similar to the Mobius Ion Matrix already blown and for sale. I think the diffuser/percolator is slightly different but it's still pretty fancy compared to the old downstems I've been used to. Anyways, I'll pass on that one then.

I've never had a bubbler. I've always been more of a tube guy. And I love packing tubes with ice for that ice cold hit. But I broke my tube 2 weeks ago and have been just using my LSV with the transfer wand or the vapor tamer. When my tube was working my tamer was largely unused, so I'm hoping to find a piece that takes advantage of my existing glass.

I don't know what your budget is looking like, but I was looking at this for another removable mouthpiece bubbler.

It looks pretty solid. All I would need is a 14mm - 18mm 30 degree angle joint to fit the tamer into.

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the useful info regarding the LSV (and other vapes). I've been lurking a while but finally decided to enter the conversation. I've been puffin' for 20 years and vaping for 5 years.

I just ordered a black LSV with custom rasta knob and a some WPAs to go with my glass. Can't wait for it to be delivered!!

I'd love to know what high quality glass everyone is using with their LSV... I may be looking to upgrade my vapor rig with a bubbler or new tube.

Having said that I still have a couple questions

Not currently owning any waterpipes, would you guys still recommend this vape using only the glass wand? I plan on vaporbonging eventually but right now i'm on a budget of $200 and wanted to venture the vape world (or should I say venture back into, owned an mflb for a couple months but wasn't really satisfied with it so I sold it).

What's an average pack size (weight would be helpful) of this bad boy and how many hits can you get out of that? Am I gonna be blastin through a gram in a sesh or will I be satisfied with a normal bowl pack's worth?

Lastly, would you say this a good vape for passing around amongst friends or more of a personal use vape?

You will be very pleased with the wand, it provides flavor rich rips. You could try the whip kit wich is also really good.
Of course that with a bubbler or bong you will get a more moisturized and soft hit with a litlle flavor loss.
you can easily go through a gram on this bad boy, but just a pinch already does the job. It really is very versatile, you will love to play around with different pack sizes.
And about passing it around is one of the best party vapes i've presented to my smoker friends in terms of ease of operation learning, its kind of no teaching needed. Just be careful with clumsy friends around glass parts.
On your budget this is really a great investiment you won't regret.

don' t know about you guys, but in my opinion the LSV is the best plugin vape around.
Of course the log is more efficient and looks cool, the cloud should be really good and flavor rich rips.
But the LSV pull out excelent rips on many different ways, affordable price, reliable and relatively simple parts, portability, no wating list or warranty issues.
On today's reality ( specially for non US or CAnadian vaporists) the LSV is really a strong contender.

It is pretty darned flavorful, and is very tough to beat.

Mine should be arriving soon...I ordered it at like 3am on Christmas eve, so they probably won't get to it until sometime later this week. Can't wait...just cleaned all of my glass. The reason I've been on a vape kick lately is because I'm looking for increased vapor density for satisfying hits and I still need a vape for the bedroom (according to my wife...so I won't spend all evening out in the living room).

I've had my volcano for 5 years and it's been great since I really can get nice fat bags now, but I'm OG and like to use my glass for those fat milky hits. I still puff out of my glass sometimes and the wife is keen on me optimizing the vape situation to provide satisfaction on all fronts (herbs and concentrates / multiple rooms) so I smoke less (mostly concentrates). The LSV seemed like a perfect companion for that since I can use all of my existing glass...

I don't love the MFLB (I can vape it but it's not totally satisfying like the SOLO), the SOLO is great for being out and about but not my favorite for fat hits in the house since it's a bit hot. The Vapor Brothers is lame. The Volcano is awesome, especially once you know how to use it to get thick vapor bags...but it uses a lot, makes quite a bit of noise and isn't the best for medicating quickly and won't provide 1 hit satisfaction.

Regarding the Cloud, that is a sad story actually lwien. I recently ordered the cloud and broke the GonG joint within 3 hours of use. The manufacturer said they could not service it and I was out of luck...they offered a refurbished unit for an additional cost of $290. I posted the whole story in the cloud section yesterday, so I don't want cross post...but I ordered the replacement. Once it gets here I am setting it in one place and not moving it around so nothing happens to it.

...........The replies here makes me want to get the LSV + the broken solo ... 220$ including shipping and a short WPA is not bad...but wickiepipe does offer it for 153$ with shipping but they have no WPA and I think only 110v ... decisions decisions...

Edit - can someone post a pic of the input of this machine? I mean does your 110v model says input 100-240 V ?

They offer 220v and 110v LSV I wonder if it all the same PSU (can accept 100-240v) and I can then buy a small plastic adapter to fit my country or if I get the American version I will need to get a convertor as well...

Example, the solo needs the plastic only, the cloud needs a convertor.

I'm assuming because he can leave the SSV on and ready on a table. However, coming from an SSV, I miss nothing. The LSV is just...so so so soooo good. It vaporbongs better than I ever could have dreamed the SSV doing, and I like the transfer hits WAY more than the whip hits. It's so pretty too...I'm definitely head over heels for my LSV.

I think most who own this vape will agree the LSV is far better with water than the transfer wand. That's not to say that the wand isn't good at all, because it is. For a re-introduction to vaping I'd say this is a great choice.

If you are going to be using this in a group setting just know that you are dealing with glass parts. Make sure to inform everyone about proper handling and that should curtail most problems. I've found proper inhalation to be the main thing that needs to be explained to those new to vaporizers.

I never precisely measure my loads since I'm good at eyeballing appropriate amounts for myself. It takes very little to get at least 5 good hits though. A covering of the screen in the wand is all you need. That much has been enough to get me to a pleasant state of being. Just be careful since combustion can occur if the heat and draw are just right on smaller amounts. Stirring is also a thing that improves your mileage as well.

Exactly.
I am comfortable with the SSV setup for medicating, and the handling of the wand is convenient.
Setting the wand down, and grabing it is also convenient, and I can trust others to handle a wand/whip (I did not say I could trust all to not combust).
The LSV is wonderful.. I am it's biggest proponent, but the SSV unlike the LSV does NOT move.
Yes... I know you will give me a hundred reasons and ways the LSV sits on a table just fine.
Fact is it does not, and requires some stabilization.
cord must be ready to move as you use unit.
SSV cord is tucked in it's place, and never moves.
Nobody has to deal with dragging the cord across things, or deal with a cord at all for that matter.
The SSV cord never leaves it's station.
A better solution for a person that uses his vape a minimum of every hour 24/7, and that has other patients vaporizing too~
(BUT.... my LSV gets regular love and use.... trust me!)

18mm male-male adapter actually, but yep! I have a GonG SSV as well, and I used this makeshift WPA to use the SSV directly with a waterpiece, and can now use it with my LSV too! My other stemless doesn't have enough clearance to use the LSV as such, but this does, so I was having some fun. I've found it actually milks easier with a lower temp than does the spherical WPA.

It's fairy similar, but the LSV is easier to use. I've used the Da Buddha direct as well with the same method. The spherical WPA is fun because you get to direct the airstream via rotation, but I don't find it functionally better than the 18mm. The only downside to the 18mm is that it can get stuck, and be generally harder to insert in and out, whereas a spherical connection is pretty effortless to connect and and separate.

Yeah, i assumed as much about getting stuck. Desconsidering function, do you find they behave similarly in terms of even roasting, taste, etc?

Have you tried the spherical in the SSV/DBV as well?
