What to do with large amounts of ABV

philmcan

Flying high
I have over 4 ounces of ABV and am not sure what to do with it. I have poked around looking for some recipes to cook with it and looked and the qwiso washes and am still unsure of which to try. In the past edibles have been hit and miss even with quality from a dispensary.
Has anyone else had large quantity's of abv and had a good return on what you did with it? I have kitchen and a carport at my disposal so the options are limitless sort of lol.
Thanks.

Make butter, you can't go wrong if you boil the butter and herb in water. Just remember ABV will be very very weak. qwiso is not a good idea, the abv will need to soak in the solvent for a while to do a proper efficient extraction. If you don't want to do butter, make some green dragon, but keep the alcohol minimal in volume and maximum in alcohol percent.

Lost in Thought
Toss your ABV into a crock pot (on low) with a stick and a quarter of butter.

This should be enough for one batch of brownies/cookies etc. I normally use ONE oz (of light to medium vaped) for this and my batch comes out strong (I like 1/2 of a brownie to get me nice)

4 oz at pretty much any vaped color into this one batch will be more hit than miss IMO :D

I have some moonshine here (not too much). I have a shit ton of ABV. So I'm gonna soak it in that for a while, and every 2 weeks or so, change the ABV. I'll see what happens. I'll plan to let it soak for a long time.

Do you guys have any better suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.

i recentrly made qwiso from my abv wich was really smooth in taste (not so intense),taste also was ok(not bad at all), but effects were pretty much to get to easier to sleep...u got stoned and ready to sleep really easy with small quatities. i've also made edibles from abv and they are pretty strong...not like because its from abv it doesnt make strong edibles...and be carefull dont overdo with edibles maybe it wont be so pleasant experience...

Uhm i am not understanding your unit of measure here. are you saying put all 4 oz of abv with one full and a quarter sticks of butter?

Can you give me a quick run down of the process you did?

I've been doing it for years. I even boil it to get rid of the green. I use large volumes of water and change it. With cold water, you just gotta be more patient. Its called water curing, you let it sit a week, changing water daily. I tried this cold method with both fresh herbs and avb. That's a nice solution when you want to get rid of something

The final product seems to taste lighter, you get rid of all the water soluble garbage. That shit smells and taste bad, I don't want of that in my system.
I see it coming, some are gonna says it kills potency and stuff like that, it has already been talked on a bunch of topics, properly done it doesn't.

Nothing clever to say......
If you make the qwiso, and don't like it, you can make capsules with the qwiso. Like someone mentioned it would be more of a night time, sleep inducer.

Coconut oil. I have to try it, with the soya lecithin. I just have to find the lecithin and to evaporate a portion of tincture.
Apparently its the best fat to use.

k for the qwiso what i did is :

put the well grinder abv in a glass jar
pour the iso in there until it covers the abv
stir it up well for something less than 20 seconds
evaporate the iso (can be done with different ways, heating it or letting it in a well ventilated room for 24-48 hours, both ways need good ventilation)
scrap it off
vape it
go to sleep

and for the edibles

put the butter in some ceramic bowl and heat it untill it becomes liquid
put the fire on lowest
put in the abv
1 tablespoon of abv=1 tablespoon of butter (dunno the exact grams)
let it in the lowest heat for 15-20 minutes stiring it up from time to time
run it through a screen so that u divide the abv from the butter
let the butter cool out of the fridge(this takes the most time)
put it in the fridge
next morning put it on a slice of bread(not to much)
eat
after two hours start feeling high
stay on the couch for 3-5 hours laughing
go to sleep
