Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

Oil, Glass & I'm a bit of an ass
A few pages back, someone said they got their Cloud to heat up faster by plugging the joint with teflon. I'm a little wary of using teflon since it expands with heat and might put pressure on the glass. I was thinking maybe we could achieve the same effect with this. With something like this, you could just pop it on whenever you heat up your unit, and you could even use it to plug the joint when you want to clean your bamboo.

why not just use a 19/26 female glass stopper?

All of this talk about Bamboo cleaning got me to looking at mine last night, and you guys know me  so for the first time in a long time, I switched off my Cloud with the intention of letting it go cold. Instead of filling the Bamboo with ISO I just opted for a couple ISO Prep Swabs and my HoneyBun. I was able to get both the top and bottom (nothing there) sections clean quickly and safely this way. I guess the only way to clean the center is to fill it, but I scrutinized mine under intense light and it looks good for now :) (sorry for the recycled pic)

its actually like the most enjoyable session ive had to date, that was my first hits straight outa the box from the post office! watch the first hit, it bubbles up SO MUCH that i actually had to kinda drink and pull at the same time, it just happend and wasnt expecting it, but yea i got some amazing hits, they dont show up well when you blow straight to the camera, but i def had a hard time gathering my things to leave for work after that...

honestly getting the nice sip of ice cold milk right in the middle and after you hit, so smooth :) no coughs (im sick with a cold right now too) so it was great :)

yes i drank it afterwards! i forgot to get that part on camera, it tasted just fine like milk haha i have another video of me doing that with juice, and the juice tasted quite planty after a few bowls

Edit: thanks she's a teacup pom

That's what it is haha. Well, it's 19/22 but the inner diameter of the joint is still the same.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't realize I posted a link to the 24/40 one. woops!

Here is the link to the 19/22 stopper, it will fit the Clouds joint:

And actually I just realized that ALT sells an 18mm female glass stopper, I didn't realize they sold these outside of lab glass stores haha.

@Seek: I'm a preorderer waiting for the international units and was really anxious before, but lately I have no hurry. I prefer to wait 6 months and have less chances to have a deffective unit. So many people with problems here in the forum are making me a little paranoid lol

@Xchadb: Dude, you sure know how to milk that Swagger! lol The best part of the video is how your eyes are more closed at the end of it, you feeling your meds!

We are taking video submissions until dec 31 midnight :)

Maybe i'll have my unit back by then, that would be awesome. I'm not sure if the return center is open today. It has been waiting in the Post Office since Saturday.

I don't even know if the PO attempts multiple deliveries or VapeXhale has to pick it up. LOL.

Happy Christmas Eve everyone! Hope everyone is having a good holiday time. I have been spending most of my time this last two weeks laid out on the couch when I am not working. My back seems to be locking up on me again. I did managed to get a couple things that should help. A friend of mine made some hash capsules that work pretty well at reducing the hot/tingly pain feeling. I also got an early Christmas present... a hot tub! It just reached temp this morning and I am about to go lay in there... my back is quivering from anticipation... or mussel spasms LOL. Looking forward to it!

I had combustion of an ELB for the first time last night. I was at the tail end of a hit when all of a sudden the "vapor" really started to pick up. I was like whoa this thing can MILK... then I saw the cherry in the ELB and got the first part of the smoke. I realized the problem. It had to do with airflow and oil residue. Awhile ago I lost an ELB because the my puppy got a hold of it. He did not get the top cap, so I was still using it to see what would happen... well now I know. The top cap got filled with oil residue and restricted their airflow enough to cause combustion. Everything else about my session was the same. I just reached the limit of the cap in terms of airflow restriction.

I think both times I experienced combustion, I tracked it down to my ELB being stuffed too tight. My Cloud is still going, so I don't know if I can blame the machine. Good to know about the cap. I have been rotating my ELBs daily to newly cleaned ones (cap too) and tossing yesterday's ELBs in to the jar of Iso for a long soak. I always look to see that I can see light through my ELB, and try to lightly pack the loads, but started playing with the "suck through a tube/adapter" method, and might have pulled in more than I thought when I got combustion the last time. I was just putting a pinch or two in and that would never over stuff the ELB, so I might go back to that method.

When I pack I do three pinches. I take a pinch of ground material and kind of pass it back and forth over the top of the ELB like I am grating cheese. It causes the material to break apart/fluff up and fall in to the ELB. Then I tap that material down and repeat two more times. This usually brings the level to the top of the ELB. Putting the cap on and pressing it down usually compresses it just enough to equal a good ratio of plant material to airflow. I end up getting around .2-.27 grams in each ELB. With that method I never combusted... until I let the cap go for like three months and it clogged.

Thanks for including her, she definitely added entertainment value! Our pom is very similar, just a bit larger and more fur. Same fox-like look, color, and markings though. And the personality. They are a terrific dog.

yeah thanks! she is in a few other vids runnin around, she dont get high with me tho and i feel much better vaping around her rather than creating a harsh smoke enviorment for my dog like some derps do. she is great, no barking, always playfull, potty trained.

this replacement cloud, man is it levels above my old cloud, my old cloud all the way up, itd start to get hot to the touch after an hour or so. this one is too hot to touch at 12 o clock just 30 mins in! my old unit was a "non-ticking" aswell. so much better! i can actually fully vape my bud til its black if id like, some bud is more wet and dense than others and require a little more heat, i wasnt getting fully vaped results with the last cloud with more dense bud.

this unit, my god the ELBs are a mission to get in and out... some dont even slide in all the way, im guessing this new bamboo glass must have just a small break in period and prob get a little smoother edges after a while...aswell as the ELB's too. my old ELB's are the only ones that even fit in all the way, the new ones wont snap down flush yet.

the cloud is the gift that keeps giving, i stay higher, longer, on the cloud than any other herbal vape method, ever... even concentrates (those highs go too fast) i mean i notice if i leave my house after a good session it lasts hours, normally im high for about 45 mins off the pax or solo when i have a bit of a tolerance...

Hey gang,

I'm new here and recently bought a Vapexhale Cloud based on a lot of the FC reviews, so I figured I would post my first impressions of the product.

They did not have what I ordered in stock (evolver hydratree) so they upgraded me to the evolver 2.0 hydracirc with bent neck (like the swagger) for no additional charge...which was awesome since this is not even available yet on their web site, I don't think. I had a great experience with the customer service and they got the order out quickly.

I spent about 5 hours with it and fell in love with the huge flavorful milky hits it can produce. I think that almost everything has been said about the positive aspects of this product here, but I found a few negatives that I thought I would mention for anyone that is on the fence about buying it.

I seriously fell in love with this vape...However, after my 5th session (literally 3 hours after I received it in the mail) the base fell over on the table a short distance and the GonG joint broke. I completely acknowledge that this was my fault for tipping over the base. I'm not a clumsy person and have had some of my glass for over a decade, so it truly was chance. When I contacted Vapexhale to see what could be done about the broken GonG joint, I was expecting it would be a $50-100 fix that the manufacturer could take care of at my expense. Their response to me was that if the GonG joint is broken, they could not fix the vape because the unit is fused around the glass bamboo which contains the joint. Apparently opening it up would compromise several of the components and they said they could not service the vape; so now my cloud is a paper weight. My only option was to spend another $290 on a refurbished cloud since they would not service my unit. Apparently they keep refurbished units around at a discount specifically for this purpose when someone breaks the GonG joint (which points to a fundamental issue in the design). So, I spent $600 (including shipping) on a cloud with hydratube and used it for 3 hours before it broke. I have to spend another $290 for a refurbished base. I now have $900 invested in my cloud... It was a tough decision, but I'd rather have a $900 item that I can use vs. a $600 item that I cannot use.

It is my opinion that the industrial design of this vape is not well done in terms of durability or serviceability. As I said, I'm very careful with my gear, but sometimes sh*t happens. Most other vapes out there can be serviced by the manufacturer to have parts replaced, but this is not true with the GonG joint on the cloud. Once it breaks, game over...not even the manufacturer will help fix it, warranty or not.

So it's my fault for breaking it, but I think the current design is flawed. The manufacturer should be able to service the most breakable item on the product without charging the customer for a new unit (discounted or not). I totally expected to pay for fixing the unit, but didn't expect that I'd have to buy a new one.

While I love the hits that this product produces, if I could do it over again, I would NOT buy it simply because I don't think the design is durable enough. If breaking a $25 GonG joint will render the whole unit useless and the manufacturer will not service it, there is an obvious problem in the design. The manufacturer should be able to replace this part rather than trashing the unit, as this could happen to anyone that owns this product no matter how much care is taken.

I hope that Vapexhale will improve the design of this product because based on performance alone it is the best vape I have used...but performance is only 1 aspect of my decision making when purchasing new products.

This was my personal experience and is intended as information for those interested. Positive vibes to all of the Cloud owners out there...I look forward to my replacement.

Peace and clouds!

FWIW I run my cloud OFF the surge protector. I am hesitant to tell anyone to do the same since god forbid you have an uber rare surge
Man, you are a daring man good sir! I had my SSV not plugged into a surge protector a couple times, and one of those times lightning struck outside my home and completely fried my unit :( I was Soooo disappointed my $300+ vape was destroyed, couldn't imagine spending 500$ and having same thing happen...after that lightning strike I bought an extra 4 surge protectors for every other outlet in my house.
