The Extreme-Q Vaporizer

I am pretty much settled on getting an EQ but I am overwhelmed by the choices. My wile is quite sick and cant take the taste smoke. I want to get either a vapor tamer or a bong to cool the vapor. Also which size attachments should I look for? What does the group advise and which from your experience is better? Thanks!

are there any cool 3rd party add-ons/accessories I can get for an extreme-q owner, as a christmas present? I know they love using the bag far more than the whip... i've seen some water attachments, but not sure how they work or if it's even worthwhile to filter vapor through water

I nice inexpensive gift could be a tuff bowl. It's a great addition to any EQ and only about $15.

Water attachments are excellent as well, but get a lot more expensive.

I almost always vaporize through a bong or bubbler. You just want one with an 18mm female joint. Check out the Glass threads for good info.

Check out my EQ setup, built into my computer desk... i don't need to hide it but i kind of have to keep it out of site, so i made it blend in better.. i actually like how its fixed and flush like that... also it was never near my computer which became annoying haha.
w71q2o.jpg

I keep the tuff bowl, bag, and little pieces in the MF tin in the back, and set it over the hole... i stuck a hook on the side of the monitor for the whip to hang while in or out of use... the right CD holder swings open like a door if i need to get in there too... its been very convenient for me... i have the light shining right in on it for the pic but even in the day you'd have to look for it to notice it...

BTW: these bags are awesome... got a tooth extracted and was bummed i was gonna be missing the EQ for a week or so, but now i can get by in the meantime while i heal...

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone else has ever mentioned this but I found what seems to be the best way to hit the whip on the extreme q!
I tilt the unit on it's side and made a little stand so the heating element sits horizontal. I put the cyclone bowl on and use the 18mm da buddha vaporizer bowl into it packed with bud. heat it up for 15 minutes and let it rip! :ko:
The flavour is a lot stronger and the clouds are a lot thicker. It also produces the clouds for longer, too!

I'll will post pictures upon request!

cool... thanks for the pics, ill have to give it a try some time... what do you think makes it work better horizontally? i can get some pretty big hits from elbow packing the whip usually... like bong hits but vapor ha, so i don't no that ill notice the difference... i like to get it milking thick and then i exhale a little and rip it really hard, and it stays thick... Is that one of those popsicle stick stash boxes from arts and crafts :D nice improvising...

yes they are actually haha.
I figured I'd give it a shot because a friend of mine has a Da Buddha and that thing gives massive clouds. Well the way ours is set up the heating element is under the bud where Da Buddha is horizontal with the bud. So one day I tilted it with an elbow pack and it gave me a few extra hits with good clouds. I guess it must be how the heat gets distributed.
As far as Da Buddha wand goes, I just prefer it over the EQ's

I love My EQ had it for years now I only got the 2 stock bowls I thought they were both the tuff bowl kinda gray looking. Anyways my vape took a stage dive on cement a few months after I bought it my hart dropped but only the bowl was cracked and that crack is still the same size to this day.

To anyone thinking about it I wanted to say this thing is cheep comes with 2 bowls and 2 whips 18mm a mini and a long. Lightly pack .2 in the elbow and Wig Out for an hour or so.
No need for me to buy another table top.

when I was using my EQ religiously I could easily eek out 30-45 minutes from an elbow pack.

edit: ah forgot about heating time!

Offhand the only accessories I can think of for bag fans is the Tokeez bag. It's considerably larger than the Arizer bag, and very handy for group sessions.

A water tool is definitely a good addition (albeit a bit expensive) to a vape setup, even with the bag. Bag vapor tends to be harsh. A good bubbler can moisturize the vapor, and cool it a bit, too. I use a Headford Inline Triple Doughnut (aqualabtechnologies.com) - it has a small water chamber with very good diffusion, and its size allows me to put it in a small plastic ice bucket during session to keep the water cold. For ease of use with the Q, the water piece should have a 18/19mm female glass-on-glass (ground glass) joint; simply use a Q male elbow to attach in place of the standard mouth piece.

Its been a while, but I guess. I'm trying to remember if I was re-packing in the middle of Breaking Bad, or if I made it through the whole show in one bowl...

. . . what does it mean when you love your EQ but dream about the cloud? . . .

It means you haven't actually got a Cloud. And possible that you're soon to be ~5 bills poorer. :D

When you do have one, the dream will become reality - and your EQ moves to back-up position, except when used for the bag. As a passive direct-draw vape the Cloud is in a different class, perhaps by itself.

i usually get about a 3-4 huge bong hits from an elbow.... n then i dump it in the vape bow.... i don't like to over vape usually because i like to make coconut oil out of my ABV for pain and muscle relaxation... i'm glad i had some pre-made yesterday, i got a molar extracted and my pain was totally managed... felt fine all day... but ya at about 205 i get less than a hand full of thick lung busting bong hits... and its usually medium brown...

Thanks very much! The info is greatly appreciated. is it OK to get one a few over? I am looking at one that is 18.8. Wondering if that will make a big difference?

that's fine its the right size... since its cone shaped and has the same angle it wouldn't matter even if it was a little different size, as long as its close to the same size.

As Buildozer said, 18.8mm is the actual size. I was just lazy and didn't include the .8 part. It is often referred to as 19mm as well, but they are universally 18.8mm.

i just milked up a vapor bag of ~.1 of blue dream wax made from nug... used piece of a cotton ball in cyclone at max temp and F3, check out the first bag...
nqm39.jpg

that sure does the trick.. although i can taste the cotton ball a little bit.. it's no big deal.

I wish this was a video do I drip .1 on a small bit of cotton and put it in the already preheated to max EQ bowl. Is it worthwhile like better buzz then dripping on a bowl of ash. I never done a dab off swing/nail so my standers are low. Thanks
