Sorry to hear about your troubles with your replacement unit. That is really, really bad luck and we're sorry for your experience. To be 100% honest, we've had extremely bad luck with units that have been sent to forum members.

I don't know if it's Murphy's Law or what but rest assured, with the new non-ticking units, we are seeing a less than 2% failure rate. Based on the amount of Clouds we've sold, if there were as many broken units overall that appear to be in this forum, we would definitely by in a dire financial situation.

I'm happy to say that the opposite is actually true. We've begun working with distributors and really expanding business in 2013. You'll see alot of new products, websites, and of course, lot's of glass glass glass!.

I haven't seen any Xmas themed videos, guess no one wants HydraTubes :)

I'm happy to hear about your success actually.

However, I still have my main issue. So I assume I am awaiting the standard response from the support team? I guess this is gonna take a long time to return. I have not received anything at the current moment yet, sent this morning at 7:00am eastern time.

It's already packaged up, and ready to send, but I have not received anything yet. And this will be the third time I'm paying for shipping charges, uggh. I have plenty of ELBs, LOL.

Great Scott!
FWIW I run my cloud OFF the surge protector. I am hesitant to tell anyone to do the same since god forbid you have an uber rare surge, but IMO there has to be something to it.

Have you TRIED using it without the surgey? I figure its already broken, you really have nothing to lose.

I already sent back my unit. I'm quick. I got the email, and I just shipped it back. I want it back as soon as possible.

Is it wrong to feel so sad you want to cry? I absolutely love this thing. I can't believe it happened again.

best feeling ever is knowing you got it out like same day, feels quite burnt ass feeling at first but its cool knowing they got your back and youre getting a brand new one! imagine if you had to pull the card back outa the wallet again? thats what i thought :)

i was so excited to let my friends try (mostly prefer smoking but were stoked to try it) we went out and picked up the perfect sack, come back home and of course it fails, the worst part was just feeling let down by a vaporizer because i love them so much.

just sucked to see the dumbass pipe in the corner to still be kicking, when i know this thing can push CLOUDS way harder than any gay faggot ass smoking pipe bullshit!!! god i hate smoking so much now.

Keep in mind our return facility address could change. I would not label any return boxes in advance because things change.

We have also had a couple of people send off their package before they even got a response from us. In the future this could cause major problems with getting your unit serviced.

If you need to file a warranty claim please wait for instructions before you label or return your packages. It will lead to less confusion overall. We are constantly working to improve the process, so things can change.

Absolutely, I figured this was going to happen, so I packaged it and addressed the from, but not the to. And I actually meant to state that it was different this time around. Also, I had to print out an RMA slip. So I slipped it into the box, and printed the new return address.

It was different than my previous returns 2 months ago.

This kind of comment is inappropriate and if I see anything like it again, you're getting an infraction.
yikes, i apologize, i have a broad sense of humor and a loud mouth :-x im sorry

i meant no offense to anybody that took it, i work in the beauty industry, trust me im about as tolerant as they get. Over half my clientele are either gay or lesbian and you just get really comfortable after a while.

i say those words as adjectives, not hate, by all means, im just a young hyper ass kid and those are the first words out my mouth and it shows my immaturity.

I'm just hoping they can get me a new unit next week so I can at least have a unit for New Year's.

I realize I'm being impatient here, but after 3 times of busting, I just want a working unit.

With 2% failure rate, it should be 1 in 125.000 probability having 3 busted Clouds in a row if that can make you feel better. And 1 in 6.250.000 for 4 in a row. If another Cloud gets busted, you would be one in milions of Cloud owners statisticaly.

I only have bad luck, not good luck. LOL. Like I said, and I'll say it again, last time it took me 3 weeks to get a working Cloud, I just hope it's faster this time around. I would really love to have a working unit in my hands next week sometime.

I guess part of my disappointment is the fact that I've had to pay shipping 3 times. So $66 bucks extra already. I know I get ELBs in return, but I've already got plenty. LOL. And the fact that I'm being treated as if it was my first return yet again.

Exactly!! haha I don't mean to laugh, but maybe he should go buy a lottery ticket

Maybe this time around they will give you something a little nicer for extra? Cloud buddy??? A Hydro foot?

I just want to re-iterate that my Cloud unit's LED never turned green. It was RED for well over 40 minutes. I decided to use it anyway. When I took a hit, I got yellow thick smoke and the medicine that came out was black and burnt.

When it worked, the LED was green and everything was operational and fine at 12:00 O'Clock. And it is the best vaporizer I've ever used in my opinion. None of my other ones compare.

Yes, since day 1. I've read threw the whole vaporpedia wiki and this thread before I even purchased it. LOL. I absolutely love the Cloud... There is nothing like it. But this experience has definitely soured me.

At the bottom of the Vaporpedia: "VapeXhale recommends that you always use a surge protector so that your Cloud is getting the cleanest power source possible."

And I live in a heated apartment building, it's about 70 - 80 degrees in my room at all time. So it's not in the freezing cold, or super heat.

And I bought a really good surge protector too :-).

Edit: Also, previously, I got an email stating my support ticket was sent. It was automated. This time, I got nothing. Hope it was sent.
maybe you should get your electricity checked by an electrician. maybe your ground is not good. if you had a surge you need to replace the surge protector. This site might offer some insight http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/everyday-tech/surge-protector3.htm

Not happening. Ground is fine. I live in an apartment building. Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with my power. Plus the ground light in my power strip is lit and the protecting light is lit. I have a Philips surge protector, and they claim the protection lights let m know if it's functioning properly and I haven't had any surges.

Also, if my electricity is a problem, i'm sure it'd be a problem for way more people than me. People live in houses that are 100s of years old.

I have a degree in Computer Engineering which was a combination of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I could get some equipment from work, but I pretty sure I'm good.

I understand the Cloud is power sensitive, but if all my other electronics work no problem, this should too. My Extreme Q has no problems.

But thanks for the suggestion.

out of curiosity, how many hits are most of you getting out of a elb that is 50/60% filled, loosely packed.

i see many people talking about getting 1 or 2 big hits, but i keep getting 4 to 5 and each one is full of vapor, maybe the 6th hit its tapers down.

im not taking 20 second pulls like i see some people doing but im still pulling a long time on each one.
