Discontinued Vapolution 2.0

PALE BLUE DOT
Dear FC members,

Vapolution has been making vaporizers out of Chico, Ca for the past eight years. Last year we released the Vapolution 2.0 and we are hoping to generate discussion about how our simple, yet effective, vaporizer has a place for medical users and recreational vaporizer enthusiasts alike. We are well aware that there are many options available to choose from, more so seemingly every week, but we feel our old school design still offers one of the highest quality vapors for the price. Our philosophy for which direction we should take our company, has been evolving with the changing marketplace. As a manufacturer to date, we have focused on production and customer service to grow our company. Today and forward, though, we are looking to reach out to individuals and make manufacturer to customer sales directly. This lowers costs for our customers and will hopefully keep our company competitive for many years to come.

As of January 1st, 2012, the Vapolution Vaporizer 2.0 basic package has been reduced by $50 and is being sold for $125 from our website (priority mail shipping is FREE). The basic package comes with the following:

- 1 Vapolution Vaporizer 2.0 model
- 1 12VDC regulated power supply
- 1 Vehicle adapter
- 2 Straight glass bowls (1 Medium and 1 Large)
- 2 Medical grade whips 3.5' in length

Our primary design goal has always been to keep the vapor path free of contaminants. We are the original glass on glass vaporizer, and our vapor path has no metal screens, no heated plastic exposure, and a glass heater. The 12VDC design uses very little power, and the unit can be left on for hours at a time without worry of overheating or the heater burning out. It takes about 4 minutes for the unit to warm up from a cold start, but once on, we recommend leaving it on if the vaporizer will be revisited within an hour or two. The Vapolution Vaporizer is easy to use and durable. The vehicle adapter that is included with the basic package makes taking the vaporizer anywhere convenient.

Our most popular accessory is the All in Wonder Bowl, which makes sure there is nothing between the vaporizer user and his/her herb except for glass and heat. This unique approach to vaporizing I believe is one of the cleanest and best tasting vaporizing experiences available. We also have an available Li-Ion battery pack and charger for increased portability.

To jump start discussion and encourage FC members to try out our unit I'd like to make a limited time offer to forum members. Enter the promo code: FC4LIFE at www.vapolution.com and we will send you the Vapolution Vaporizer 2.0 basic package with an All in Wonder Bowl for just $99.99 (no hidden costs, no shipping, just tax if you live in CA). The promo code implies that an All in Wonder Bowl will be sent with the basic package. There is no need to add one to the shopping cart. In the order notes please specify the color you would like if you have a preference. I think this is the best deal on a vaporizer available for under a $100 in terms of vaporizer quality and the quality of vapor.

Feel free to email us at info@vapolution.com or contact us through this thread.

Regards,

Vapolution :peace:

Your site DID NOT ACCEPT MY PROMO CODE?
I guess I'm too late?
For $100 I was all over it.
Good luck!
I liked the ideal of glass on glass.

I have Solos for Flowers and Persei's for Waxes.
Simple devices that work really well for me.
This will be my first plug in unit.
How do you like it so far?

I haven't used mine in a while tbh, but I have it still, yes. I don't really compare it (in my own messed up head anyway) with log vapes as I use it as a desktop like my EQ. I prefer to use it with my bong (like the EQ) and the whip with WPA setup is similar to my EQ.

I think of my log vapes as more bubbler friendly for some reason, so I guess that's where I'm drawing the distinction. Also log vapes are much nicer looking and can be displayed and appreciated for their aesthetic beauty. The Vapolution 2 is not something that most people would proudly display as it looks kinda cheezy (plastic and cheap aluminum with the words "Vaplution Vaporizer - the original glass on glass vaporizer").

It definitely delivers quality vapor, though!

If someone could only make a Vapolution in a wooden body, I'd buy it. I'm looking at you, Hippie Dickie.

:peace:
I will hide mine in the garage since I medicate in stealth mode.
I could build an exotic wood body to wrap it in if looks are important.
For the price if vapor quality is on point then I think It might be a good unit to own.
I guess I just need to try it and see.
If I ordered it tonight I hope to have it before the end of the year?

It's simple, and it works well. I think you'll enjoy the flavor of an all-glass vaporizer. I know I do. For the price, it's IMO one of the best buys out there. Highly recommended.

Cool thank you for the reply.
I like the fact they use glass.

As Stu said, the taste is truly amazing eventhough loading, temp and waiting time
does take some experimentation.

I don't recall exactly how long mine took to arrive, but I seem to recall that it was pretty quick shipping.

One thing that still does bother me though is the whole using “pods” instead of grinding your material. When taking the pods of material out of the vape after vaporizing you can break some of them open and see that there is still some potential in this material to vaporize with.
So what I would suggest is saving all your used material from the Vapolution 2.0, grind it up, and throw it in another vape if you have one. You don’t want to waste any of that precious material, do you?

This is a remark from a review.
My question is why can't you add a screen to the bowl and grind your herbs like I do for my SOLO?

First of all, the diameter of the bowl is much smaller with the Vapo compared to the Solo. There isn't any stock screens that I know of that would fit either of the 2 bowl diameters that the Vapo comes with. I think dealing with inserting, positioning, and extracting screens would be a pain in the ass.

Secondly, the "pods" are more easily held in place during use. This is important because the bowl has nothing below it to keep the herb from cooking up on the "floor" of the chamber. Ground herb would be problematic in that it would more readily succumb to gravity's force and get dumped. That is unless you tamped it down some, but that would most likely affect the airflow.

Finally, the goal for many is an all-glass vapor path and the screen becomes a fly in this ointment, albeit a very, very small fly.

Thank you for explaining!

I understand. However I'm super stoked to try this thing.
Flavor is the most important factor along with proper medication.

I thought along the same lines and tried vaping the ABV in my Solo and recently the LSV, I found that the Vapolution does a great job of extracting cannabinoids and got nothing from re-vaping the ABV. I do not need to go past 11:30 on the dial to get really dark ABV, and usually start at 9 for long lasting really flavorful vapor.

Did you do that to empty it? Like a log vape stem, the best way to clear a Vapo bowl is to blow it out when it's still hot.

That's what he meant by "AIWB". IMO that piece takes this vape to a different level-the only way to go with a Vapo. ;)

What spare parts are needed?
Should I order a couple of Wonder Bowls?
I broke 10 Glass stems of my 2 Solo's now I have just a Wood stem.

I have only tried the WONDER BOWL so far.
Two small nuggets and that's it!
This thing puts me right to sleep!
Flavor? WOW! AMAZING!
I get very medicated with it.
I think the glass mouth piece would be nice for the whip.
Need to try the whip today.
In my case it's only for function.
It's not a center piece for a coffee table however it is very effective for the price point.
Very pleased with my purchase.
The INDCA (OG KUSH) taste so sweet.
Today after morning coffee I will try SATIVA (OG DDT)?
People who still combust are missing out on a very affordable device.
After tasting flowers thru a VAPOLUTION how can you ever burn a joint again?
The warm up is about 10 minute so far.
Maybe it will become shorter?
The flavor obtained is worth the set-up time!
