Do we know what core OF was testing that is coming with the LL? Wasnt there a 12 and 14 watt core being tested? Anyone knowwould if TET is out of darts already? i was gonna add one on my order but didnt see any on there site.

This thread i think might set a new FC record almost 100 pages long and its not even out of beta :whoa:

Last word I had was the "14 Watt" core I have (the one with the marks), which Tim rebuilt from the 10 Watt one I first got, was the planned value. I also understand the oil cart I got uses "the same power", but the e-juice version (I don't yet have) will be lower.

That was off course before the sky fell......

Once they get back on track I expect a call to come in to get the e-juice cart to test and get some of the temporary upgrades made to the beta unit brought up to date (the cap spring and strap up the inside of the tube are not the final version as I understand it). I'll try to get an update on the power (and delivery???) status, if we don't find out otherwise first.

Edit: Another thought; in practical terms the power will no doubt be a window not an exact value. That is all '14 Watt' carts might be in say between 13 and 15 Watts to pass? And actual power will vary with battery charge over a wider range than that. Discharge from 4.2 to 3.4 Volts for instance would take a 15 Watt heater to ten, give or take.

I just saw the video on page 88 of the 0.1 gram concentrate hits.

I've read pages 1-33 and 88 to here but I never saw the actual Oil/concentrate cart pictures. I'm really curious what the chamber for the concentrates looks like... ie where are the holes located etc.

Have there been deteailed photos of the oil cart yet? would it work with hash powdered or pressed?

hmmm I'm on the TV website and it seems to show the Oil CERA as a different CERA all together??????

I thought the "oil cart" was like a replacement just for the top chamber, and it would just replace where the plant material holder went?

Does this mean that to use a CERA with plant + oil you need to buy 2 separate CERAs?

if so, then why have people been talking about the "oil CART"? To me CART implies that it's part that you hook up to another tool, not a new tool entirely. *confused*

*edit* Ok nevermind I see they sell the cartridges as add ons for $99

mod note: What Puffers said. Two posts merged.

You pick one model and it comes with that cart and body. Then, you can buy other carts separately to screw into the main body you purchased. Sounds like you are clicking the wrong link. If you didn't add on carts when you purchased your Cera and want to now, just email them and they can add them for you. Stainless steel carts are $99 each and Titanium is $199 each.

No it's modular you can buy the carts separate. Pressed hash will work in the loose leaf cart. Once you select one package you can buy the carts as an add on.

Btw back to back posts are frowned upon here. It's suggested to edit your post to avoid back to back to posts. The edit button is next to the report button on the bottom left of your posts.

Due to TET's silence,(I blame the 2012 thing....goddamn Mayans) I have a charger related question...
What would be the BEST charger for Ceras batt.? I ask because in the RC world there are A LOT of choices. Also, what type of charger Would keep up with future battery tech?
Is there a future proof,IDIOT proof way to care for my batts.?

P.S.,
As a thank you for TET's support for our community I'm thinking we should send something to help them keep smiling through the flood clean up. Wonder how much it would cost to overnight a mop?
....(sue me,I thought that was funny).....

Thanks guys,I do appreciate all the input!
I don't know how to put to type some questions,so I've been trying to educate myself a little. If any one has a few spare mins.,I would like to ask a favor. Check out this write-up and comment as to it's relevance in our vape world please?[http://www.rchelicopterfun.com/rc-lipo-batteries.html
It's mostly about li-pos,but if I read it correctly it also pertains to li-on batts. too.
Unless I miss my guess, battery tech. is/will be one of the major issues for pretty much all future portable vapes. I think Noah nailed it when he said he thinks batteries will be the fastest growing component in the E world (or words to that effect).
So what do ya think? Am I over thinking this? Are the $100+ chargers overkill? Is anyone still reading this? If so,what time is it?
Maybe batteries/chargers could use a separate thread?
Damnit,I'm rambling again....happens a lot!
Thank you,in advance, for taking the time.
I mean that,thanks.

I have expensive chargers for my LiPos but that is a different game all together, lots of cells running together to give great power and if one cell fails your pack is trash, part of the reason i went nitro. The 18650 batts for the Cera still want good proper charging but to get the most life out of them but don't require all that the RC batt packs need.

So they're sending out 2250 mAH IMR batteries instead of 2900 mAH according to an email I just received.

........Due to supplier issues........ and to avoid further delay in receiving our CERA's.

They also mention that they will include and 'additional' 2250 mAH IMR if you ordered a battery on your order.

Yeah, so are we getting 2 2250's then? One free? I don't know much about batteries, so I have to ask. How do people feel about that? Is that good? Bad? Or no difference at all?

My guess is slightly more heat and slightly shorter run time. Close to a push, but the free spare makes it a great deal IMO. That basically doubles the bowls between charges and having a charged second battery standing by can be mighty handy (I like having at least one reliable back up).

They said it was free in the email, but does that mean that we are still going to get the 2900 eventually? I was slightly confused by the wording in that aspect.

The emails said "we have opted to use..." which I take to mean they don't intend to replace them?

I'm also confused if we get a comp 2250 then 2900 when available, or we get all 2250's with one comp.
I just added another cell and an e-liquid core to my order minutes before the email. Oh well, another ring-a-ding maybe in order.

i understood the email to mean we are getting 2x 2250's in place of the 2900mah battery which they must not have local stock on...or the stock went for a swim. Technically a battery is not a cera component which is all we know for sure did not get trashed.

One thing I know for sure you will be getting much higher quality gear with the TET e cig line, than any of the china made stuff. I have used most of the products for e cigs starting back when the blu and janty was hitting the market, and can also agree that it's easy to waste a ton of $ trying gear. I know for a fact TET makes a very high quality atomizer , that is worlds better tasting than any of the china made stuff i have used. It's built with better and safer materials, built to last, so the cost is higher, but you are not replacing it every few weeks. What's also cool is if your coil dies, you can send in your atomizer, and have it re-wired for a low cost. Much less waste. I do also agree ECF is a great source for anything e cig related, but it's super glutted in there, and a ton of info to wade through, with a lot of choices as well, so it's a mixed bag. They have a nice newbie section at ECF to get you started so you don't have to feel in over your head.

True, your post. The provari is made in the good old USA . 510 and only goes to 6v. It works a trick with the AVA. SR, allows exact heat 4 whatever variety of vape u put in there. Provari did not work with any of my TV stuff. So there's that. These AW's come off me pila at 4.1. I have an unregulated 1st run zen~, much prefer my zap.

Back on topic. If the cera's joos cart is ceramic core I think the unregulated aw deal won't matter. Super coil, ceramic wick.
I could be talking out my ass here.

Here's a thought...if they ever get caught up, what about we could send in our old stuff for some credit if the new stuff is way better?

They have been super standup with me, made me a custom tube 4 free (ADA compliant, by god).

My understanding as well.

IIRC a while back they were waiting on the raw batteries from Japan to go to their supplier in California somewhere who was going to be then built up with control boards, tested and packaged. Perhaps there's a normal sort of delay in that train?
