Discontinued The Inhalater INH004 Phytotherapeutic Rechargeable Portable Vaporizer

The capsules are no longer click type. All capsules are smooth bore. The click was produced by a slightly oversized screen filter that deformed the capsule body making a small resistance at insertion.

Please be cautious tampering with capsules. Unproperly reconstructed capsule may lead to destruction of heating chamber. Capsule from factory has a very slight taper for easy insertion and polyimide body overlap is predetermined to avoid interfering with overlap in heating chamber.

So why are the new ones so tight that I can hardly put them in with a totally clean INH with unused capsules? I am so afraid they are going to get stuck when they are being used cause I can hardly get them out now.

I think he means that the newer ones had the too-big screens for a time. You most likely have one of those. I'm sure after a little while we'll be getting only good ones, but I wonder for how long vendors will be selling the bad ones?

I ordered 2 replacements last week that should arrive today or tomorrow. I have no idea which version I'll be getting. I imagine you could pretty easily use a wire-snip to shave a tiny tiny bit off the screen to reduce this tension.

And thanks for the info INH. I actually made my overlap too much, which had the effect of making the end smaller than necessary. So my conduction heating isn't really functioning at the moment but I guess it's better than trying to force a too-wide capsule in and possibly damaging it. The thing still works fine just takes a few more puffs before the vapor has that usual rich flavor.

I dunno it only looks like one screen. I am going to have someone look at it for me. I would love a clear answer.

what do you mean?? we were only ever talking about one screen. for a time the screen included inside the capsule was too big.... now the screen is slightly smaller.

Oh so then they should replace them if we have ones that don't fit. I don't mod.

Tonight I used about 1/3 capsule with a domed pipe screen that had a very small ( less than a drop) of pg/vg zer nicotine juice applied. Set INH to about 3or 4 and result was that the clouds were the biggest I have had and better than any herb vaporizer I have seen.
This meant that I could keep temperature low (concerned about heat and e-juice) and used less material. I dumped after about 10 good hits and the abv was nicely brown.

Hey Spanner,

Interesting. Are you saying that you think adding the tobacco juice created more smoke and also vaporized the "other" material more as a result? How do you know that it increased vaporization of the solid materials rather than just generating more smoke from the juice?

on another note, I finally got in my replacement capsules. I got mine from Amazon (OtherSsideVapes) and they are the kind with smaller flush screens, no click and smooth fit.

I see now that my own hack repaired capsules were not fitting well, because the taste is so much better and hits start earlier and smoother with the bran new capsules. Seems like good proof that the combination conduction/convection is very important to the INH004s ability to get those tastier clouds. Only works at peak when the capsules are a smooth fit. But it looks like I didn't harm my INH by using the custom fixed capsule... just was too tapered and thus not getting much contact or conduction. Seems better to err on the side of too much taper, rather than force something too-wide in and damage the internal polyamide/heating structure like INHALATER alluded to. I am still keeping that one I fixed as a 3rd backup...

ictus, how tight are the new capsules. I can hardly push it in that is why I won't use them.

It's 10 days before Christmas and still no word on the XP or when it is going to be released. I was going to pre-order but without a release date I do not feel comfortable giving money without knowing when I will get it. Can anyone chime in with some information?

The XP will start shipping from Pharmacor (Inhalater) the end of this coming week.

This is what I am going to do. I do not see any official posts or anything from Pharmacor saying that it will be released on a certain day unless I missed it (which I hope I did ).

Hi Ictus,
Adding a small amount of zero nicotine e-juice to the domes screen (I use this as a plug to prevent herb falling onto bottom screen) just meant I had much larger clouds and at a lower temperature. It does not effect the vaporization of any other material but adds to the overall sensation.
I am interested to hear from other users who have tried this

Thanks for clarifying Spanner, that of course makes more sense when you put it like that.

Dreamerr, the new capsules I got go in smoother than the ones that came with my unit. No click, no force required. So far these ones are so smooth that I don't even have to warm up the unit to pull one... just a little rotation and pull and they come right out. Also probably helps that I cleaned my unit with some IPA and qtips and a shopvac (i actually use the shopvac to pull a small amount of IPA through the INH's air path). Gets it like new.

I wonder why Pharmacor doesn't get the polyimide manufactured as a tube from the start to eliminate overlap and diameter/fit problems?

I wish they would send me two new caps and I will send back the bad ones if they send me a pre-paid envelope. They are brand new. I will keep the old style new one that click will be happy to get two new ones to replace the ones I can't use.

Thanks for confirming that the two I have aren't good. Like I said I cleaned the INH well to try them and I can barely push them in and would be scared to use them.

I really hope they do something for you Dreamerr! Would show they care about their customer service, even if it's just a small part it goes a long ways in showing customers can buy in good faith. Understandable manufacturer defects happen, but the buyer shouldn't have to be the one getting stuck with a defective product. Can't wait for the XP to be released, but i'm going to hold off from ordering until some good reviews come in.

For the record I am always careful about removing my capsules.... Only do it hot and I give it a twist. My first lasted a few mons, my nd one broke after just a few days....

I had the same issue this week - bought one extra capsule - everything was working fine for the two months I had the unit (though not heavy use) - I am always very careful when i remove the capsules, but had one break. The very next day, I used a capsule for the first time, and as I was gently turning it to remove - the entire mouthpiece came off and broke apart, and the rest of the capsule was stuck. Very disappointed. I've sent emails to the company, and also the site where I purchased - have not heard back yet.

Yep, INH has "improved" the capsules or so they said. I hope my old ones never break. They keep saying they are fine but they aren't listening to us all having issues with these new tight ass capsules. They haven't even offered to exchange them with the postage on them since they aren't any good. As much as I love love love my INH and have been pro-active in people getting this thing I have a bad taste in my mouth from the company. You would have thought they might have reached out to me by now but you would be wrong. I am glad that I have not dealt with them directly or I might not even have my fav vape. They totally frustrate me and so do there posts.

I didn't care about the bad website. I heard they were nice guys and wanted to make a good product which by most posts they did until this new capsule mess. Make it right Inhalater or you will lose customers.

Where did you buy the capsules? Right from Inhalater themselves?

This. I was planning on getting the Inhalater XP, but if this is their customer service i'm honestly going to have to rethink. The mivape looks pretty interesting, even if there was a shilling incident here. I'd rather take good customer service and product support + shilling as opposed to crappy product support.

well have you contacted them? Maybe you can send them back to them and get better ones? Then they can worry about sending them back to Inhalater?

Have you contacted the Inh people? This forum is not the best way to get in the CS systems of the manufacturers.

Just go through a vendor the vape is worth it. It is the new capsules but with the xp I bet there will be no issue.

VapeNstone I am making an order with PV anyhow and will ask them that in my email. I didn't make the cap order but will tell them who ordered them so they can look it up. I just hate when people "fix" what isn't broken.

I spoke via email to customer service once before and decided not to go through them for anything. I get frustrated easily so you all need to know that. Don't judge them based on me. It may be language or just me but it is something I personally can't deal with. I have zero or less then zero tolerance and patience. I am dealing with the vendor.
