So guy's i have the inhalater and was loving it for portable use.

But the other day after vaping a bowl my herb capsule was stuck in the inhalater, i could not pull it out like i normally can. Then after trying for a bit i pulled out with all my force and the capsule came out but the polyamide brown part and the screen inside the capsule were tightly stuck in the Inhalater. Finally i had to pull the brown plastic screen part with my teeth out of the Inhalater.

Now the Inhalater itself look's to be fine, i broke one capsule and have another spare i got with the unit. But i had hardly used now broken capsule about 15 times in totality.Does anyone know if did anything wrong or maybe i was just unlucky with that particular herb capsule.

I am ordering more but i don't want to break the one spare i have now and end up without a useable vaporizer on my trip to Goa.

You didn't read the thread is why you broke it. Stuck capsules were discussed in great detail I think in Aug and Sept. if you feel like looking. Don't try to break your baby again just come ask and we can help. Oh and because of the way the poly is in most of us choose to put our cap in rotating it counter clockwise.

If you are using sticky stuff the capsule may not come out when cold. Just turn the INH on and after about 3 to 5 seconds it will come out easily. You also need to clean now because you more then likely got stuff on the outside of the capsule and that is how it happened. I had that issue for about the first month which really wasn't a big deal. I load my cap diff now and haven't cleaned it in I can't remember how long. BTW I am still on my original capsule with no signs of any issues. I do have three backups but don't expect to really need them unless I end up rotating. I have enough vapes that I normally switch off for various reasons.

@Dreamerr : Thanks for the solution. So basically when i load/unload the capsule i need to turn it anti-clock wise and take out the capsule immediately in 3 to 5 seconds after i turn off the Inhalater. Please suggest if any other care needs to be taken.

Its true i did not read the whole thread, it was so long. I will definitely follow your advise hereafter.

On another note, I am loving the Inhalater for what it can do, the vapor it produces is tasty/effective. The rechargeable battery is doing great, love charging my vape and mobile with the same charger. It is a good size and form for vaping in the train toiler, in one corner of my work place, outdoor use. I don't have many portable vaporizers but this is the most versatile and best i have seen till now.

Thanks to FC and all the expert's here for steering me in the right direction when i was making a decision between this and the other portable vapes on the market.

First I would like to say your welcome. Here is what I can think of in the middle of the night. Oh and before I say I can't believe you didn't complain that you couldn't get the cap off to even use it lol.
  1. Ok after you load the cap as you put it in rotate a bit counter clockwise so it doesn't get caught up...that was a trick I noticed. It is easier to put it in then to shove it in directly. This way no worries about messing up the poly.
  2. Enjoy your session...if you want you can actually run the cap twice and you will still get medicated. I do sometimes if I am lazy and out and don't want to dump the ABV out the window and reload.
  3. After a session still remove the cap counter clockwise and don't force it ever. Now when you stop getting stuff on the outside of the cap it won't happen that much anymore.
  4. BTW I don't always remove my cap right away and don't have issues taking it out cold anymore. The hint I gave you is for situations after you are done and didn't take it out then you need the heat to do it to remove the cap. Again keeping the outside of the cap clean seems to avoid it. I will go back to my sticky stuff and let you know. I would at this point since you made it all sticky clean the inside of the INH with iso and soak the cap in iso so you will start fresh.
I used to load by sticking it in a pile of herb and evidently that caused issues. I now do the inhale way. You may know that way already from your lineup but in case you don't you have a pile of herb simply put the opening of the cap near it and inhale then it is full and you are good to go. I do tamper the end a bit so it doesn't fall out.

If I missed anything I hope I remember to tell you tomorrow. Like I said I would read from almost the end of Aug to sometime in Sept. It isn't a lot of pages. I think that will be where you will find anything I forgot. If you don't feel like it just ask. I don't mind answering.

In some rare circumstances, the stainless steel filter may act a lock at the heating chamber head. This may happen when the screen is not properly seated. If this ever happens, poke down the screen from mouthtip end before removing the capsule.

This is what exactly happened with my capsule.

I believe they mean that the resin cylinder of the mouthpiece can be deformed by inserting it too deep/with too much force and could be blocking the two holes at the bottom of the heating chamber. The same more or less happened to a friend of mine. It could also be the resin in the heating chamber itself that could be deformed and not the mp's...

How what? There were two statements in that post?

I totally don't get what they said. You have to push a screen out in the mp to get the cap out....I have never heard of that. All of us that have been here from the beginning have had that issue and we solved it with heating. So I wanted a better explanation as to what they were talking about. I also really can't picture what they are saying. I also only say one statement with three sentences to try and describe what they meant which didn't help me understand.

The filter is slighly bigger than the capsule diameter so as to stay in place. If circustances concord to make it perfectly strait beneath the hot chamber head wall, it just won't go through. When filter is properly seated in capsule there is no problem.

We were made aware if this last month. All new capsule production have dimensional adjustments to reduce this possibility.

Thanks for the explanation. I will try out my new capsules to see if there is an issue. If there is an issue I suppose you will do an exchange. Is there any easy way to know if they are not made correctly?

How do you not get this? It basically says in some cases the capsule gets stuck and if this happens use something to poke the screen out of the capsule from above while its still in

EDIT: I see they cleared it up for you. You obviously didn't have the problem that these other people are getting. It may have been similar, but obviously not the same.

I've searched through this thread many times now trying to find some glass milking videos.

There's one by KushCabbage that is no longer available and then there's this one:

by CentiZen

and this:

from Jam

I'd enjoy some more water piece videos just to get an idea of how powerful this thing is. From the looks of those videos, it looks extremely capable of milking water pieces. But then again, I felt the Solo would also milk a piece pretty decently and have been mildly disappointed in practice.

Also, I'm assuming all of these videos are using the highest heat setting?

I tried out my new capsules and they suck. I wasted my money on them. The old ones clicked into place the new ones are really tight and no click. I would return them to INH and ask them to replace them with the old style. I need to do the same. I bought them on PV but it isn't there fault the new ones suck.

You can put them together again if you didn't break anything. It takes a bit of work. I think someone posted it back a few pages.

For the record I am always careful about removing my capsules.... Only do it hot and I give it a twist. My first lasted a few mons, my nd one broke after just a few days....

I am still on my originals and never used this new sucky new ones. I only tired them because of the issues but I just put them in to see and they suck suck suck. They are to big for the opening and get stuck on a totally clean INH which I cleaned just because of the complaints on the capsules lately.

Well, I just got one of these instead of waiting on the XP. I'm highly impressed. Easy draw, no stirring, and very even browning except for a tiny green patch at the tip of the mouthpiece. My capsules don't click into place, but they stay put and I don't think the fit is too tight. But then, I don't have "old style" capsules for comparison, so maybe I'd be thinking differently if I did. Maybe with more use my capsules will not work as well? We'll have to see. One cool thing I found is that the lip where the cap snaps on is perfectly sized for a 18mm joint, so I don't even need to add tubing if I want to get fancy. I can just put the INH directly to the joint.

Question for Inhalater:

Just curious -- is the temp control limited to the 10 settings or not? In other words, if I set the knob at 8.5, will I get a temp setting of 369F or 381F depending on if I'm closer to 8 or 9, or will I get a temp setting around 375F?

You may have gotten one that fit but I still like the click. Mine are both two big that I bought about two months ago for extras. I won't even try them with vaping cause they are sticking now before any resin. Now I am wondering if the xp will be better or worse. The caps were perfect, they messed with them evidently now they suck. Sometimes to much tweaking can mess stuff up. I would hate to hate my favorite vape.

I may have gotten lucky with updated "good" new capsules that have the "dimensional adjustments" that Inhalater said they made last month. On the other hand, since you got your capsules two months ago, you almost certainly have the "bad" new ones. I'm pretty sure they'll exhange those for you.

yea but how much will the postage be...I will have to contact them. I just don't get why they changed them to begin with. They were fine. You don't mess with something that works.
